He always was. It's just the more relaxed and accepted he became he showed more of himself. He wasn't gay he just had a cute feminine side and wasn't ashamed to recognize it.
I think he alway was it was just that since he couldn't talk to women at first, he only had male friends, so it makes sense he was involved in more male dominated activities. Even early on there were indications he'd get along well with female friends. When the alcohol revelation happened, he immediately got along with Penny. Also, even before he could talk to women, he had some interests that were more traditionally seen as that of women (much to Howard's chagrin) such as crime novels and Sex and the City.
"Did you guys know Penny married Zack three years ago?" - That makes no sense. There is no way they could have known since even Penny didn't know. The writers messed up.
Very clever & entertaining show. However, earlier "Raj" makes a statement that "it wouldn't be Thanksgiving without an Indian providing the food." Sorry, that is NOT historically accurate. FOR THE RECORD: The Mayflower Pilgrims were not expecting company when they planned their harvest feast in 1621. They had a treaty with the Wampanoag to come to each other's aid if attacked. (The much larger Narragansett tribe constantly threatened the Wampanoag.) The Plymouth Pilgrims were hunting game for the feast, so an extra large number of shots could be heard by the scouts. Massasoit Ousamequin thought Plymouth was being attacked, so, per their agreement, took 90 warriors to defend their allies. Much to their surprise, when they reached Plymouth, they discovered a community feast, not a battle. The Wampanoag warriors were, then, invited to join the festivities. However, since there were 90 Natives while the Pilgrims had only 50, Massasoit Ousamequin recognized the need for more food, so sent his men out; they bagged 5 deer for the buffet table. BOTH GROUPS SHARED THEIR FOOD WITH EACH OTHER. Even though the children of the Mayflower Pilgrim Elders and Massasoit Ousamequin failed to carry on the 50 years of PEACE & mutual assistance between the 2 groups, the FACT is that, at the time, 5 decades of harmony was unique. The Native Indians taught the Mayflower Pilgrims how to plant crops in sandy soil. The Mayflower Pilgrims, by pledging alliance with them prevented a Narragansett attack. The English, also, shared their factory made goods and more advanced medical knowledge (saving the life of Sachem (Massasoit) Ousamequin (Yellow Feather) in 1623 when he almost died from an infection (not a "Euro" disease.) At the time, people all over the globe engaged in violent attacks whenever there was some kind of conflict. Governor William Bradford and Massasoit Ousamequin provided a stellar example of what human relations should be, even if it only held for 50 years. The website of the Pokanoket Nation (Wampanoag Tribe) states on their website: "It was a special time of friendship between 2 very different groups of people." This Thanksgiving, I hope we can all commit to the goal of WORLD PEACE. Happy Thanksgiving!
