RAKDOS LORD OF RIOTS - Ultimate EDH Deck Tech Build

Thanks for the inspiration! One interesting card you included but did not explain is Bringer of the last gift. Is this just to have another form of mass reanimation? It seems quite rough, because assuming you use Rakdos LOR to discount it, you'd be taking down your own commander as well. At that point an interesting play might have been Sneak Attack. Would be a way to get the big creatures into play when Rakdos LOR is shot down, and also into the grave for Living Death or Haunting Voyage. I am also wondering about Warstorm Surge. This one is way more powerful in the Eldrazi variant. I'd perhaps throw in K'rrik, to discount all the black pips and make all the black big bad demons 'free' with Rakdos LOR. Or perhaps Infernal Sovereign, to draw a card for every creature thrown out when you spam discounted creatures, and as such have a shot at spamming even more creatures. I'd perhaps also replace one of the 3 mana rocks for Bontu's Monument. Not really for the discount, but pinging for 1 for every creature you play doubles as enabler. I'd be curious to hear your thoughts!

My rakdos deck theme is the deck os the demon. Its loaded with punisher cards that drain life then devils and demons. Temporal Extortion, prisoners dilemma, killing wave, wheel of misfortune, choice of Damnations, viscous shadows, protection racket, sin prodder. It does poorly againts edict effects but my pods only run a few

I had the same exact thought when i went to build this deck. Eldrazi are definitely not the way to go even though it clearly calls for it

The Beast, Deathless Prince would make a cool Rakdos themed deck

I would love to see a video about you talking about different ways of building Thalia and Gitrog. She's my favorite commander of all time even tho she's so new. There is so much value in abzan colors. And she doesn't force you to go in with an only landfall type deck. You can play stax, voltron, and reanimator.

Why did you go for a full demon list? There are so many better options in lord of riots.
