You are correct and you can get it taken care of for free at the dealership here is a video that explains everything. Thanks for the view! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-r6k_WTgA-ns.html
Hey Tyler, thanks for all the great videos. So helpful! I do need a little of your knowledge of that socket combination you mentioned in the video that keeps the internal shock shaft from turning when removing. Can you share the sizes of that special tool? I think it's on summit, but wanted to confirm the sizes.
Nice video Tyler, I am going to be installing some Gieser springs tomorrow using your videos. Problem is I can’t find any shops with a wall mounted spring compressor! Do you know if you can reset ride height using Alfaobd?
I had dealership do mine. Really easy they just ask if u want it replaced and 100% free. Might need to find strong springs due to this massive fab four winch bumper I have now lol
I was thinking that to but I'm not sure. It seems it has more bounce than it use to. With everything it added roughly 235lbs bumper and winch. Probably do both and that way I can add 37" tires lol
Thanks for all those TRX videos Tyler. I am confused with my TRX and I was wondering if you know what to do here: My suspension doesn't show any differences in driving modes. It also feels erratic going over rough road as it comes out of bumps unevenly. What do you think?
It has been trouble free for me. It really does give you a nice little bump in power, I can always notice the loss of power when I drive a stock TRX now. Thanks for the view!
anyone ever figure out another app or tuner that can do a ride height calibration? dealer is telling me weeks before they can get me in to hit a simple button and do it.
If you are using a strut machine to compress the spring you probably won't need to remove the shock top mount to get the collars installed. Thanks for the view!
