In this video I install the Foutz Performance front perch collar leveling kit on the TRX to make the front ride height match the rear. #catchmeoffroad #RamTRX #TRX
Where at in MI? I live in Sandusky, OH so like an hour from MI. Would like to have you work on my TRX. I have the Faust Motorsport perch collars in my garage and this video has made me decide to install them
Hi Nick, I'm in Detroit metro but I'm really not that good at working on this kind of stuff, I just barely squeak by haha. I can probably recommend some people in the area though! Are you on Instagram?
Honestly, no difference at all! The front springs are constant rate (as opposed to progressive rate like the rears) so the added preload doesn't put you in a stiffer spot on the spring 👍🏼
I actually have a new truck coming soon and I will be doing the Eibach springs instead of a perch level. Perch collars have always been more of a band-aid until someone develops lift springs. Geiser is probably the best in the business but their price point is a little high in my opinion, so I went with the Eibachs. I'd definitely recommend springs over puck or perch lifts though 👍🏼
I do lose about 1.5" of travel up front, but it's in the compression direction which helps me out with the 37s. The rear also loses 2" unfortunately. The front is a temporary setup until someone comes out with aftermarket leveling springs...
