The one tear just before she dies always gets me. I think she's realising too late she didn't need to go looking for her father, she already had a "father" who loved her more than anything.

"Why not me?" That line hits you so much in the feels...

This is such a powerful scene for him. Rambo is a war machine, and he never fails his mission. He will always come out on top. But here, he fails. He failed his mission and it damages him more than any war ever could

It sounds like he was about to say daughter, but stopped as she died. That made me cry.

She went looking for her dad, but he was right there the whole time. It’s only when she realises this, after he gives her the bracelet back and remembering her achievements growing up, that she feels at peace and lets go. Very sad scene. So satisfying to see him brutally take every single one of them down though 👍

That scene was so sad. I was seriously choked up because that happened to her only because of her love for a father that didn't love her.

The most heart breaking scene. After all he went through he still lost her. This man has lived through blood pain tragedy and grief.

This scene affected me for a long time, the sense of rage and hopelessness. Was thinking about my niece and daughter, I cannot fathom the menagerie of conflicting emotions if this happens to me

The saddest scene of the movie.

I feel bad for Rambo. 99% of the ones he loved are dead. He watched his friends die in Vietnam, his last surviving Army buddy died of cancer, Hao was shot when they kissed, Trautman later died of old age, and all of his family are gone. And this scene here, the closest thing he had to a child, dies in his hand. He cannot escape violence and it keeps coming back to him. The only thing he's useful for is war and he hates it so much. All he ever wanted was a normal life.

After hearing from her biological father that she meant nothing to him and then was treated worse than garbage, she got to hear from Rambo that she meant the world to him. At the very least, he was able to give her that before she died. This was just horrible

This defines what a father and what a men is at heart. Someone that would die for those they love and kill for those they love.

I didn't expect her to die, so I was really sad after this scene. This was gut-wrenching. :/

I want to say this movie is one of Stallone’s best performance since Rambo first blood but I’m afraid people will say other wise

The saddest part of the movie other than her father wanted nothing to do with her .She really should've listened to him about not going and that the world is dark .

In everything he's been through, and finally he found happiness in life. But the world took if from him again. That "why not me" really breaks my heart.

I didn't expect Sylvester Stallone to be able to create such a soft tone of voice. But the fact that he was able to switch to that signature low grumble for a split second to signify that some heads are gonna roll before switching back to a softer tone for "why not me"

In the mist of all the blood, explosions and what's not, this is a strong scene. The tear falling makes it all so much stronger. Sly knows how to capture the moment.

This clip should win an award CUZ when that girl died and he felt her cold body you could feel the pain and rage free flow through your own blood 🩸 this scene here is what makes an unstoppable BEAST.

She died in the truck with him, I knew then and there what was going to happen, we remember from part 2 when Co died, he went Shitballs and blew that whole camp up.

A very emotional tragic scene and story. She was a lovely and wonderful character with so much of her life to live.😢

I though the whole point of the movie was for Rambo to search for her in Mexico & at the end he found saved her. I was wrong. She actually died in the middle of the movie, so that what set up the Last Blood Rambo about to spill. Kodus to the writer, didn't see that coming.

I felt his pain in this scene.. My mother passed 2 years ago and I felt this and told myself what he told Gabriela

This hits hard, man. I remember Co Bao died in Vietnam in front of him. Now, Gabriela is the next one to do so. He had to bury both.

This is the darkest Rambo movie, sure they are all tragic but they took it to the next level with this one.

This makes me cry like a baby honestly saddest moment in history in a movie or tv series.. No one deserves to die for the reasons like she did.. Stallone gives one of he's best acting performances in this movie

I shed my tears once when he expressed how grateful he is in life. And I shed once again after rewatching. This scene.

This is an incredible movie and it's a gut wrenching moment, but I had hoped Rambo would finally have some sort of a happy ending at the end of this movie. He certainly deserves it after everything he went through.

What Gabriela said “you came back..” hits me hard. I feel like she thinks that he wouldn’t return for her.

If you see the movie in Spanish, before she dies, she says ''te quiero tío John'' ''I love you uncle John'' in a very low voice, but you can hear it clearly. To me, it made it much more emotional and it hit me in the feels, cause you get to know the last words that were running through her mind before she passed away. Then, I saw the movie in English expecting to hear the same words but in English and it seems like you need to read her lips to understand her last words.

This movie was dismissed by most people ("omg, another Rambo movie???", "ugh, it was too dark and too bloody, don't watch") but this scene represents the core of the Rambo character: he truly TRIES to be a decent-passive human being minding his own business, but when he's PUSHED, you better hide, because that's when his self-righteous inner darkness takes control; first, they attacked his constitutional rights and pride, then his long-lost comrades, and then his best friend and mentor; years later, some decent missionaries and an opressed minority, and finally, the worst pain of them all, a surrogate daughter. They keep pushing him, so he just keeps on killing.

While he was talking to her, I could feel a sense of dread come over me. Like I knew what was going to happen. It still shocked me when she died. I was sure he would have gotten her to a hospital in time or at least performed cpr on her, but no..... She was just gone while hearing her Uncle's words of love.... It hurt a lot to see John Rambo broken once again...

It’s a sad scene in itself. But when the background theme music hits it’s all over. You go through the emotional journey of all 5 movies and feel his pain. This would also be a killer theme for the last battle of earth good vs evil right at the end when you see the carnage and aftermath!

My heart broke in half for poor Rambo. He was just a good man yet he suffered so much. Losing his niece like this was abhorrent. I love John Rambo. One of the best written characters in fiction history.

Teenagers might wanna read this👇 When I tell people that this is the saddest movie I've ever watched, they'll be like "How could Rambo, an action movie, possibly be the saddest you've ever watched?". I never blame them bcoz they're absolutely right. It's honestly weird bcoz one would expect it to be a romantic movie or some shit like that. Anyway, Gabrielle's story is the reason behind that. Sure there's plenty of movies (e.g Taken, Six Bullets etc) with teenagers getting trafficked and stuff...but Gabrielle's story is just different. When I first saw this movie, I saw myself in Gabrielle. Like me, she was a teenager who had just finished her final year of high school. So seeing her die so young, also knowing that that was probably the only significant mistake she ever made in her entire life, was really painful. I know it's just a movie (is it though?) but bcoz of her character, I now live a cautious lifestyle. Through her, I got to see that the world is even more horrible than I initially thought. Through her, I realized that it's not everyone who gets the luxury to say "I'll never make that mistake again". She made just one silly mistake and sadly, that's all it took :( It's really sad that only a handful of teenagers are aware of this - the fact that we tell ourselves "it's only just this once", not knowing that sometimes that's all it takes. She realised too late the father she was searching for all this time was right in front of her. Her realising this, that last drop of tear, her hands falling off, Rambo's break down. Soo much pain in one scene.

Fuck haters this was a epic finish to Rambo franchise Stallone is just so powerful with the emotion he can bring to his films Rambo was the Wolverine of Hollywood before Hugh Jackman in my eyes ☠️☠️☠️☠️

Very emotional action movie..

despite the movie itself being meh, it was a nice touch that they didn't hold back the punches taken did and show more realistic brutality from the cartels.

Just when he thought he was out, they pull him back in.

This scene hurt my heart so bad. I felt so bad for Gabby and felt just as bad for Rambo😔 I hate feeling bad for Rambo. To this day I still haven't watched the scene where he gets jumped. I legit wouldn't be able to take it.

Rambo is a tuff fighter and all that stuff but what is really amazing is his ability to drive a car while turned to his passenger. He's so tuff I don't think he needs to look at the road at all. The road just aligns itself to where ever he happens to point the car. Now that's bad ass.

I have got the greatest respect for Stallone, when he makes a certain kind of movie he wants to show reality, you can watch any film, but you can see if certain films are based on reality, most films are just for entertainment and we know its all fiction but, when you watch a film like Death Wish, Charles Bronsan and l can name quite a few others you telling me these kinds of things can't happen in the real world. Certain war veterans have seen Rambo films including the last one, they agree that 90% what we see in Rambo is based on fact, Stallone is known to make his films realist even the Rocky series. He is physical fit even at his age.

I didn't cry when I saw this in theaters but after my sister died, I balled because I wish I was ther within her last moments, but my brother was with her. 😪😥

I teared up man... I saw this film with my dad and i know he felt the same aay just by his expression. He doesn't cry much but i know he felt just like Rambo. Life was so cruel to Gabriel. Rando deserved to avenge her.

Smh, this is not the typical depth of an action movie but what an emotional scene. @2:04 I wish I knew what was said but this is some great writing.

The realy sad thing is that the stuff that happened to the girl isn't just fantasy. It's reality for so many girls and woman and children. Human trafficing is such a big problem in this world. All the criminals that do these things need to be tortured for the rest of their life. Not the death penalty. That is a too easy way out. They need to suffer for years and years.

When he got beat up and found out she was captured he went straight Green Beret!!

rambo seeing Gabriel die was like losing the one thing that was pure in his life.

I first saw this movie now, it was really good. Did not expect her to die, very sad

I didn't expect this scene and damn it got me good.

Gabriela reminds me of when I was her age and I did a lot of stupid things that could have got me into deep shit or even killed. It's just I was lucky I dodged a bullet as so did many of us, but sadly poor Gabriela didn't 😢

This movie really gets me. A man who wants peace, when he finally got it some assholes take everything away from him. Yes, when Rambo killed that mfker it was pure joy. But in the end he still lost.
