The story behind this is actually true. There was a cannibal guy in germany who asked for a volunteer to be eaten on the early days of the internet. As crazy as some people are there was actually a volunteer who came to him and he was eaten.

I've only recently discovered you guys and your Rammstein journey is making me so happy! Mein Teil is one of their most powerful songs and even when taking something like a real life terrible criminal case, they still layer up deep meanings (everyone knows that saying "you are what you eat" and for them to take this saying and use it in a song about real life case about cannibalism is just typical Rammstein) and (in live performance) they make it also really quite funny, I don't know how they do it. The official video is quite disturbing, in a completely different way than the live performance is but it's still their signature style and there's a lot of meaning behind the shocking visuals, like with Deutschland. As you mentioned previously, Dominika - their shocking is not to put you off, it's to pull your attention towards what they are saying. Even though I have been a fan of this band since their second album Sehnsucht, I still really appreciate how people discover different sides to this band and some details sometimes I didn't discover myself until someone came in with fresh perspective like you guys, even though I've been listening to them for so long. Man I love Rammstein so much, they are my favorite band ever and I also agree that this song needs to be played loud. When I hear Till sing I have the biggest smile on my face and my soul is so happy. I honestly could listen to Rammstein all day everyday.

Yes "Germany's Scandal-Rocker" (😂 lmao) take on things real life offers others are afraid of. It's a true story and Rammstein made a good song and live performance out of it, like "Wiener Blut" or BDSM ("Bück Dich") and so on. Lindemann songs and videos go even a bit further and that's great, at least for me. Biggest issue for Flake is a lack of Oxygen, i expect they got some breathing equipment in there. During our show he was in a full gimp suit with the fireworks all over. Just crazyyy 🤣
Yes, the flames left hardly any oxygen in the air to breathe. During the rehearsals, Till wrapped the pot in flames more often, so that the metal got really hot. Flake burned his fingers more often.
I like you guys a lot. Sometimes you interrupt each other a lot. Mostly the lady. Give each other time to say what you're feeling. I also recommend if you've never heard the original song to try and listen to the original recording. The recording on this isn't very great and is staticy. Don't give me wrong. I feel like my love for RAMMSTEIN had grown in the same way yours has, Dominica. Although I liked them back in the 90s, I never followed them along the years. Then I had the chance to get tickets for my husband and I for the 2020 show. I figured I would catch up on their discography. I fell in love with them all over again ☺️
