Back in The good ol days 97 , they played in Toronto, they were told NO PYRO... ha ha thats like telling water dont be wet... They got half way through teir 2 song and were pulled from stage... ( Violayion of terms/PYO) I had friends who went... they were disappointed because Rammstein was main band ( KMFDM - another German Industrial metal band Opened for them , Marilyn Manson performed as well as another band cant emember) This is a directors cut so everything has bee enhanced... the lightning is/was real.. They dobt do lighning anymore because... well back in 97 there was no such thing as smart phones ( Pagers were all the rage then, Remember...) U went in the Rabbithole of Rammstein ;) As an German i understand all of their lyrics with ease. "Du hast mich", means u own me, "Du hasst mich" means u hate me. Sounds the same, only how u pronounce it, makes a difference.
