The keyboarder (they call him Flake) walks on a treadmill, because he always felt stupid on stage, just standing there, because the singer, the guitarists, and the bassist can walk around. So the treadmill helps him to feel more comfortable with his performance.
@@Haeruna He had attached his keyboard to a Segway and drove it across the stage. Unfortunately, he hit the singer during the show, who injured his knee so badly that the Asian part of the tour had to be cancelled.
This band just got 14,000 people in Paris to sing in German on point..this could have prevented WW2. Hello from Cody Wyoming 😊you're awesome keep it up
I completely agree. I have been a Rammstein fan for like 20 years, that started with my father listening to them. I have been to 8 concerts myself 2004-2023, and the two songs I always wish wasnt there are "Ich Will" and "Du hast". They have so many deeper and better songs than those two, but they have been very popular and everyone I know, knows those two songs even if they not like Rammstein.
I've only seen Rammstein live twice, but the first time was when they were still the support brand on a small venue. Their first album will probably always be my favorite.
This was my son's favorite song when he was a toddler. We would drive around and he'd be strapped into his little car seat in the back singing along. He's nearly 20 now and he still loves Rammstein.
10:35 I don't know what is wrong with the guy on the left? He's kind of dead already. How can you just sit there like a piece of wood with this song and these effects? I'm a hip hopper too and yet I'm a Rammstein fan now
Lads, do yourselves a favour and get some tickets next time Rammstein tour the USA. I saw them last year in Cardiff Wales 🏴 (where I live) and i travelled to Holland last month to see them again. If you get close enough not only will the blow your mind, they’ll singe your eyebrows as well!
I've had the pleasure of watching them live three times. No other band comes close to the feel of a Rammstein concert. It just feels tame in comparison. Last concert I was on we had solid amount of rain during the last part of the concert. But due to the amount of pyro, like during Sonne, the rain often evaporated before reaching us on the ground 🤘
I was there!❤ I never miss a Rammstein show in Paris for years. I have done a lot of concerts in my life and Rammstein concerts are always the most beautiful, impressive and masterful. There it was at Bercy, a hall of 20,000 people, two evenings. I always did the 2 evenings, now they do stadiums of 80,000 people. They are one of the biggest groups in the world.
My son introduced me to them when he was 16. They performed in the movie XXX with Vin Diesel and he just called the song Bang Bang because that's was like the chorus. Been a fan ever since.
you ABSOLUTELY need to react to the videoclip of "Deutschland", that's a pure masterpiece, it even go to the German Parliament because of a big scandal
The keyboard player Flake was just bored during the shows and because of that he set up a treadmill to entertain himself. Now the man has ''walked a thousand miles '' and more xD
If you think this stage is cool you have to check out their current stage. It's fucking gigantic. Looks like some dystopian city from a movie with like 40m tall skyscrapers. Also Flake (guy on the treadmill) is on the treadmill because he felt bored and awkward just standing there while waiting for his turn. Another thing I read is that the others made fun of him for not being able to keep the beat sometimes so they told him to keep walking to the beat, not sure how true this one is though.
A short explanation: 'Du hast' means 'you have', 'Du hasst' means 'you hate', but it almost sounds the same. So it depends on what comes next, which of those two options you're using. When he sings 'du hast', you don't know which one (allthough the title givess it away^^). But when he says 'du hast mich gefragt' you know, that he means the 'you have' one.
I saw Sabaton live and they had a flame-throwing TANK. I can tell you that it gets hot as hell but only for a split second. Enough to hype you up, not enough to cause harm
We have some great bands here in Europe :) Rammstein is one of them. please check out Sabaton for example if you havent. They even have their own history channel where they speak more about the events and the songs. a little sidenote to that, the lead guitarplayer also has his own band Majestica and his own channel where he releases a cover every friday. one of the bandmembers is married to the singer in Nightwish :)
This vid is 12 yrs old, not 6. Du Hast was used in a movie back in the late 90s. It appeared in that stoner movie later on. The band formed in 1994 and the lineup has never changed. All 6 members were born in what was then still East Germany. Flake's treadmill is part of the show, he has to move.
If you haven't already, you should check out Rammstein Feuer Frei live in Paris. They have literal flame throwers attached to their mouths. Flamethrowers.
Greetings from the UK. I love the vibe, these lads are switched on and open minded. My friend loved this band. Wasn't my thing, but its an experience. I would like to see the trio, do a look, at Hit Me With Your Rythmn Stick/Ian Drury and some Kraftwerk. (I think Ren would approve) . Super influential, innovative and timeless.
The keyboardist use to drive on stage with a Segway but it was removed because he ran over the lead singer with it. And the other reason he uses a treadmill is because he gets board stand in one place all the time.
Cool video, BP! 👍🏻Why flake is walking the tread mill? Well, again he makes a reference in his autobiography ("Heute hat die Welt Geburtstag"): He just finds it incredibly boring that keyboarders otherwise just stand still and hide behind their keyboards. He wanted to do things differently. Fun fact: he adjusts the speed of the treadmill to the beat of the each song. Before doing that he was falling flat on his nose regularly. 🚶🏻🤣
Du, du hast, du hast mich ("You, you have, you have... (asked me)) But also: "Du haßt mich!" means: You hate me. And as it goes on like that the sentence is complete with two different meanings. "Du hast mich gefragt" You asked me. "Und ich habe nichts gesagt." And I did not reply. But between that there is the "Du haßt mich" what means "You hate me." And before the cleric he decides not to say "Yes" but instead: "No!"
Dude how much people are you introducing to Rammstein ? I see so much Videos with new people but the same song. Big love from a Rammstein Fan from germany for that effort. ❤
Still waiting for you to check out the English version of this Du Hast. There's no official video or in concert but you can find it on RU-vid just to listen to. Also Feuer Frei! (Official Video) is smokin. Rammstein - Feuer Frei! (Live in Amerika) is pretty awesome livw from Madisen Square Garden. Would be an epic reaction to do both videos at once
To avoid some confusion what the song is all about. Whe whole song basically repeats over and over again the same question "you have asked me - and I said nothing" and then "would you like to stay with me forever even in bad times?" (marriage) and the answer is "NO!". It's all about not to live with someone in a long marriage. Als always Rammstein portrays this as the opposite as it's literally meant. It's a critique of modern time marriages not lasting very long.
Du Hast and Play that Funky Music. You'd think those two wouldn't go together, eh? Think again. Head over to the Mashup Messiah, DJ Cummerbund, for Play That Funky Music Rammstein. I can't hear one without hearing the other.
DUDE, fuckin react to the music video for DEUTSCHLAND, ZEIT, ADIEU, ANGST, and ZICK ZACK already. You already know this concert is crazy, but your MIND WILL BE BLOWN at their music videos. PLEASE.
If you're worried about tackling Deutschland, Knox did it. Maybe jam to the song and then check another's reaction on it, pay it forward and start a journey. Just a suggestion 😉
The keyboarder “Flake” also hates Metal music. He is more to “Electro-techno”. He once said: I hate metal music but I’m enjoying to be in the band. I rape their music with my music.” That’s why he was and is always different than the others. If you would check another concert videos of them you can see that Till always puts him in difficult situations. That’s because of the revenge of the music he plays but in a funny ways. And there is a English version of du hast & engel if you want to check. If you search as Rammstein - Du hast english or as the same with engel you can find it on youtube
As far as I know they never play Rammstein on german radio. I kind of liked how this is in France, french usually rather difficult with Germany, and they‘re all singing german. I also liked the Duette Till and Zaz.
You really need to react to some german hiphop, i would recommend "Apache 207 - Roller". I swear you will love him, he already performed as a guest act with post malone 😎💚.
I like your reactions to rammstein. But now please, make some other songs. They have a lot to react. I can tell you, please look for the song Sonne from a live show from 2019-2023
I love Rammstein and Metallica, I have seen both live and I can say that with all my love to Metallica, they are even not close to Rammstein life performance 😂😂 really… Rammstein are the BEST.. the BEST LIVE band in the whole world 🌎 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤️❤️❤️❤️
5:44 - Repetition is one of the main characteristics of Industrial Metal, it comes from the influence EDM has on it, so if you don't like repetition then Industrial Metal is not for you.
what strikes me is that you guys are like people waiting for a bus, no reaction to the music, to the audience participation... nothing.. you don't have to love the music but come on
