Love the Ramones.❤ I used to sing this to my cat every time I used put flea medication (liquid/gel) at the back of his head. He was a long hair brown, tabby. So the hair stood up like a mohawk. 🎶 Odie is a punk rocker, Odie is a punk rocker now🎶 Good times. RIP Odie. 🥲
I first heard this sitting in my brothers car outside a flat he was looking at. I was 13 and it changed the direction of my life. He got the flat and I got a lifetime of musical fringe.
The Ramones t-shirt I stole from my sister (who bought it at Hot Topic) is older than you... Not trying to be a jerk, just that observation got my millennial ass feeling some type of way.
I heard it first going out for the first time watching a cover band dancing with a girl I liked back then. I’m 38 now and still my favorite as well. Interesting to see if it is still your favorite Ramones song after 18 years hahaha.
I remember when I was 17 years old, we went to visit friends in Bellevue, WA. My father had breathing problems, and they examined him and diagnosed him with terminal lung cancer. He and my mother immediately flew home to England, but our friend offered to keep me for the rest of my vacation at his cabin in the mountains. I decided to stay. I remember the next day, getting on his quadbike, blasting down the mountain trail at fullspeed, with this song playing at max volume in my headphones. It really was an amazing experience, and completely took my mind off the devastating news I had just heard. America really is the coolest place.
Rock and music was given to us by a fallen angel and I give thanks for this beautiful healing and spiritual tool which allows us strength when we are weak ND so much more ❤️

I briefly dated a girl named Sheena who was absolutely named after the song. She was a bit of a punk rocker herself. That's my kind of girl. Married to one now.
@@zanderkranock Of COURSE it’s pop! Black Sabbath was also “pop” music back in the 70’s, as were Buzzcocks, Hawkwind, Alice Cooper, X Ray Spex, The Clash and The Sex Pistols….to name just a few! If you’re in the singles charts back then, you are by definition, “popular” music…also known as POP music! It’s possible to be more than one genre!
Yes the animal or person would return from the dead as a deadite like cannibalistic demon corpse possessed by the wendigo that cursed the burial ground
If this doesn't make you wanna dance you're probably dead! I found the Ramones in the early 90s. They were in heavy rotation when I was 12. Haven't listened to this years❤
Three keys to make your sure kid is a loyal American; Have them salute the flag, have them say the National Anthem and make sure they listen to the Ramones! Third part is most important!
