I hope I’m not the only investor here who realizes how much value this update/sneak peek has. The backlog of parts alone… this is gonna take off. Well done.
@@mxs8102 in all fairness the balance sheet does look pretty risky, and a lack of homework “technically” gives a pass to the bears… but anyone who’s stuck it out with FUV for awhile knows there’s no lack of funding, and the faith will be rewarded when the risk is the highest imo.
@@cybertruck4988 Are the doors removable? for perhaps; summertime driving.. because I believe that will be the real game changer, (because I live in the upper north)
Thank YOU Mark! This is a fantastic video and really highlights how much activity is going on in the RAMP. This kind of transparent communication is exactly what's needed to keep investors happy and ward off the Shorts.
In an entire year vehicles with deposits from retail customers only increased by 196!! I will continue to say that once they start producing in larger numbers it will become apparent there will be very low demand for the product. ($18k for a product with only 100 mile city range) You can go spend under $2k for an ebike or spend $6K for the metacycle.
Average US electricity cost is around 13 cents per kWh, a FUV has a 20kWh battery that can go 102 city miles. It’s fun to do the math of how much you drive per year multiplied by your current vehicles mpg, and compare it to how much you’d save by driving a FUV for a year!
Hmm... Interesting. But instead of all that strenuous walking and jogging, have you ever considered designing some kind of... Oh, I dunno... 'electric vehicle' to ride around in? It could be fun! Hey, don't laugh; I'm making this up as I go along. Let's see, now... Yes, you'd need lots of tech and batteries and motors and whatnot, and a big building to assemble stuff, because you couldn't make just one. Make several. In fact, I bet dozens - no, HUNDREDS - of people would be interested in this new 'not having to jog' phenomenon. You could call it 'driving', or something like that. Get some wheels, a couple of seats, maybe a windscreen, something to steer it with... Yeah, I admit it's a pretty wild idea, but it just might work.🤭 [I'll include a good-natured 'LOL' here in case anybody doesn't realise I'm kidding, because... RU-vid.]
I really like you guys and I'm invested, but in terms of your media production and outward presentation, take a look at Aptera for how this is done on a more professional level. You are entering a next step in growing your business (size, ambition, professionalism), and your media production stuff still feels too much like it's got that "garage" flair. That was charming in the beginning, but doesn't work any longer.
I appreciate the update and the presentation style, but yet feels lacking in substance... Can we get an update on timeframes please? Maybe a move away from the vague, though imaginative presentations of your current marketing material to information-based progress updates? It sometimes seems that you are preaching to a sold audience rather than delivering on old promises. The calculation of $2,310.52 average saving by replacing a car with an FUV means nothing without mass production of FUVs. One Hummer being the equivalent of two Models Ys and 8 FUVs means nothing if the Model Ys and FUVs aren't available. Model Ys don't seem to be a long term problem. FUVs are still a big question mark at this point. Let's get past prototypes as quickly a possible to meaningfully make a difference. :)
