@@jaycee6063 These money wont be printed. It is a budgetary number that has been set by congress. Ukraine can use it to ahop weapons they need. The weapons will be sent from the US forces warehouses and then the money will be used to buy replacements for the warehouses. This is how the overwhelming part of these money will be used. Unless you're a sole proprietor ship; tax shall be laid. The SP is vulnerable to law suit, but need not pay tax. The LLC is protected from lawsuit, but shall pay tax.
The gas price in US is not dependant on Russian gas. Russia sells to europe. You have to look at american oul and gas companies, they have raised the price.
It seems like most of the world despises the US. This is confusing because we help so many but I think most countries always want to take the big dog down. The guy with the most money isn’t necessarily the winner in the end.

I thought Russia was running out of weapons, ammo, hardware, etc. I thought Putin was dying, like of a different disease each two weeks. I thought Ukraine was winning EASY thanks to the heroism of The Ghost of Kiev and Ben Stiller. Who could imagine that “evacuation” actually means surrender, “strategic withdrawal” means running for the hills dropping weapons, leaving wounded and equipment after total rout? How are they going to call Ukraine’s unconditional surrender? May be strategic evacuation across the polish border.

I fully agree with supporting Ukraine, and it seems Rand Paul does to, but the point is how to manage the budget more intelligently. The US military budget is already gigantic: there are certainly a) cunning ways to help (some cost-effective help is being done to be fair) and b) what will be cut in the overall budget to compensate. Again, we (we the world) need to help stop Putin's international aggression (just like the invasion/occupation of Iraq should have been stopped), but not *only* by adding spending or not without thought. As a Canadian, in our case, I am against the crazy money-sink that are F-35 fighter/bomber planes that Canada *might* get between 2025-2027+: just an example of bad public management (including a very doubtful use of military budget for Canada). Ps: one can be left-wing and uphold fiscal responsibility and proper public management. I am a Canadian progressive, left-wing in terms of public services, etc., but can still agree with Rand Paul here who does not share the same general political stances. Pps : that said, there are divergent economic theories on how government budgets are limited or not, the value of money and debts, etc. It is honestly a wild mess and I cannot say which theories and ideologies are closer to reality (no matter left or right-wing).
