My wedding dress was £50 and I have no regrets. I am glad that some people can afford complex dresses so that designers and makers of beautiful fabric, beads, patterns, etc. can continue their craft, but it's nice when there is a little humility and gratitude accompanying that. It's a very rare privilege indeed to ever get to wear a really beautiful, detailed garment, and so good when that is appreciated.

My dress was $400 with alterations! I couldn't imagine spending so much on a dress! That's some people's entire wedding and honeymoon budget!

I love the second bride's confidence! Her white dress was really nice, and while I don't care for the pink, she did actually look awesome in it because of her confidence. The other dresses though were bleh both in terms of style and because it's so disrespectful to breach someone else's budget.

No matter the budget, I really get the impression that Kleinfeld has only five to six different types of dresses in their store (with very little variation between them).
