Power Rangers is so funny about the colour green, because Tommy being the face of the Sixth Rangers makes them want to frame the colour as special, but in reality a majority of the teams have green as a core team member vs it being a special sixth ranger colour.

I personally never like the whole "Painting the Green Ranger in a bad light" type of tropes, it felt like it just came out of nowhere and also it felt to me anyways manufacturered (as in, have to keep producing that trope) and fake.

You people that keeps hating on the Boom Comics, why are you here, isn't it exhausting to just keep hating on the comics just because you don't like it? Don't read it or ignore it. It's not worth it to keep complaining about it. The Boom Comics have been the best thing out of the Power Rangers franchise since RPM and it's not a exaggeration. I just think it's fake to keep hating on something that that's not serious.

Either way; the comics been mid ever since Drakkon. The writers don't know what to do half the time and seem ashamed to be writing for a Tokusatsu series.

I always thought it was one of 2 in the beginning cause I do not know which happened first... Rita stealing the Green Power Coin and trying to unlock it using her mother's soul to be able to align it to evil or Trek's betrayal, the Supersonic Green Ranger that betrays his team, kills them and DarkSpectre turns into the Green Psycho Ranger. I do find weird they went specifically with Green, since many other colors have been used for evil at some point or another. Maybe it's because it has been shown on occasion their connection to the Grid is separate/different from main team like the time the MMPR team bypassed the Grid lockout through the Green Power Coin...

@@maxim_beatbox There is better Toku out there. But, outside of legacy of it's past seasons Power Rangers is dead. It's better to move on to different toku. For example, Ryukendo, Sazer X, Tomica Rescue Force, Garo, Metal Hero, Ultraman(Newer seasons are dubbed in English),Etc. It's even better when you take there's a lot of Mecha, toys, a lot of merchandise for these shows as well. And they're pretty solid on their own as well.

That’s debatable. We’ll have to wait just one more month till we get news at SDCC this year. If we are getting more PR comics that’ll tackle unadapted Sentai, hopefully Kyuranger or any other gets incorporated.

Man, I don't know if it's because I don't like Tokusatsu franchises in comics anymore but Boom doesn't make it easy, it's so uninspired, they're still insisting on this evil Green Ranger thing or the Green Ranger is dangerous. It's on its way to being Marvel and modern DC, there's also something that's not even worth mentioning

The comics are way too heavy for me. There's always so much going on. I love ranger lore, but the shows don't do enough (with exceptions), and the comics do too much for me to enjoy them. Then again, I grew up on the OGs, so I've aged way out of the target demographic, I'd assume. I'll never forget Billy telling the enemy to "catch these hands". I wasn't ready. I'm old. :p

You can like something and still call it out for how bad it's gotten. That's why I dropped Ranger Academy last issue. I couldn't stand anymore of the main character's whining. I'd take the most annoying Red Sentai Hero over her any day of the week.
