Man I feel for you. I had a new truck stolen 3 years ago and it's heart wrenching going through it for the first time recovered. Not like these things are cheap and we work our butts off to get somthing nice. For me it was my 1st new vehical ever and I was 44. Time for a new chapter brother with a new truck, you cannot take that back esp safty reasons for the family. Hope they nail the the crew that stole it. Stay safe my friend.
Exactly right mate. This is was my first new vehicle, 39 years of hard work and sacrifice, only to have some grub decide they want to joyride my family vehicle 🤬

Knowing how much time you invested in upgrading the truck I can only imagine there is some relief that they recovered the Raptor but also a lot of anger that they trashed and gutted the vehicle. I guess you’ll wait and see the assessment from the insurance before deciding what to do next. Whatever your decision we’ll be following closely. Hope the cops catch the grubby bastards who stole the truck and throw the book at them. While I know that you guys are lucky not to have been harmed during the robbery and a car can be rebuilt or rebought it doesn’t make it any less painful. That is such a crap feeling. Now you have to do all the mods again, I lost a heavily modded 6 month old Troopy in a head-on (my side of the road). It was incredibly hard to rebuild it. The build was 90% finished before it was destroyed. Took over a year to finish the replacement and I never really connected to it as I did to the first one. Just sad.
It’s definitely a shitty feeling. A bloke works hard to get nice things. It almost crushed me to not keep making videos. I’m building the replacement Raptor differently to the first one so it will have a life of its own.
I feel bad for you seeing how you cared for the car and yet this happened😞. New subscriber here..also..wanna ask how did the insurance paid off?..was it a private insurance company btw or from the get-go after purchasing from Ford?

I personally haven’t had an issue at all. From what I understand the pre 20 models had an issue from having a Polly gear installed for the oil pump which affected the pressure. As far as I know this was fixed with a software update. All the models 2020 later have a metal gear installed.
I’ve got a 20.25 (2020) model .. Man, I’d be shaaaaattered if this happened to mine. Hope the insurance process isn’t too fucked mate - especially in these times 😟
What will your insurance do about this, they have to know it was ragged out. No telling what type of damage is for the engine or anything else you cannot see. I really hope they get those guys.

I stopped watching at about 4 min - makes my blood boil. Looked at the comments regarding it being a write off - you beauty mate!! A great result. Mate I’m hearing you, it took me a few breaths to cool down before I pulled the camera out. Insurance gave me the big sausage so I’m a fair bit out of pocket, the new one won’t be getting jazzed up as quick as the old girl did but still happy and healthy mate. Round The Fire good stuff mate. I’ve volunteered to stay in the Pilbara for 6 months if required for work so will be away for a while. Heart goes out to all the people doin it tough. I’m away from family but have a job and am very greatful. Hopefully the world gets back on track ASAP. Have you ordered the new one yet

I had a trip planned to Australia at easter and had planned to ask you if you wouldn't mind a meet up for a cuppa or a beer . Was going to fly to Brisbane and drive to see a mate in Toowoomba and also see another mate in Dubbo. And to see the Slim Dusty Centre in Kempsey . Of course , with the virus going around, the trip is on hold until who knows when ! Qantas is being very fair about holding the ticket valid untill this all clears up. Would it be acceptable to you for us to meet ? If it makes you uncomfortable about meeting an old yank , I fully understand. G’day mate it was classed as a Repairable Write Off. So I had the choice of insurance company fixing it or new for old replacement. The amount of work and time needed to get it back to new just wasn’t worth it.
Why didnt you install a safe tracking device with immobilizer ?? Example KatsanaGPS that can track your vehicle 24/7 and when it moves even by the slightest sitting on the car will sound your phone immediately
I can only imagine how angry and upset you are. I would def use insurance and start again. So annoying but you might just have problem after problem. Good luck with it all. Hope the bastards rot.

Terrible. SA criminals can be worse though. First thing they take out is the dash. Had a friend whose single cab pickup was stolen for 30 minutes. When they recovered it the dash was out, the center console, the roof lining and door handles. Apparently they were looking for the tracker. When they can't locate it, they abandon the car.
