@@AverageJosephgaming Nothing says: The Rangers not only beat the Pens but; the Refs too after stealing a game that should have been ours... L.G.R.!!!!!
@@christopherzdebski5259 Fair point; I think that Game 1 bombardment effected him some; he needed some time to recoup and in the playoffs there is no time. He battled back and played his best game in Game 7; only starts can produce like that , he's special.
Love the sportsmanship in playoff hockey. These two teams and all the series beat the crap out of each other and when it's over that gets put aside for this amazing tradition. Kudos to Pitt for one hell of a series.
This is a story you will just have to believe, I was wearing my home Panarin jersey, and just thought internally to myself, we are throwing over 11 million bananas to this guy, it has to be him, and the BREAD MAN DELIVERED!!! What an unreal team and what resiliency, this will be a series I will be thinking about for years!!
I was a kid in Detroit in the late 80's - and I loved #17. "Spuddy" Gerard Gallant do this playoffs I've been a temporary BlueShirt fan. So happy for Coach Gallant. Also......I love our handshake, our real sincere tradition in this sport. I hope it preserves. So many sports, music, other venues have become the trailer park and the ghetto. In the end - hockey maintains class and humanity and I love it so much. I make a point to watch the handshake videos even if I didn't care about the series.
carl , i was a kid i. the late 60’s ,everything you stated rings true . hockey is the one sport that remains basically as it was except for a few rule changes , the players for the most part come from hard working blue collar lower to middle class with proper a proper bringing , where they are taught play as hard and tough as you can try to win at all cost with the rules of the game but always always respect the game and your opponent . that’s why the handshake line is so important and will alway be part of the stanley cup playoffs
Big respect to Crosby and Guenzel, they were great. But WOW!! The NY rangers.. to come back in 3 games facing elimination. Igor was great in game 7. Amazing win.
Even if this is as far as we go, facing adversity and coming out on the other side is HUGE for player development. You really couldn't ask for a better playoff debut in terms of experience for the kids
Thanks for posting the MSG feed. I used to get it, then moved to Indiana, where they didn't pick it up on NHL Center Ice for the playoffs. Had to watch the TBS feed.
@@islandblader 100% true. I just would've loved hearing Sam Rosen lose it in real time lmao. I'm convinced he didn't mean to say Rangers 3 times. In my head, he got so excited he kept forgetting to say win xD
Had to watch this again to hear Sam's call. Never say die . . . 5x now at the brink & NYR keep coming back for more. Would love to see more Rangers Hockey but no matter what happens in Raleigh tonight for another Game 7 (2nd Round), I'm immensely proud of this edition of the NYR, & proud to be a Rangers fan....LGR!!! Let's do it again tonight!! #NoQuitinNY
This was a great series and will go down as one of the best in Rangers history. But I have to say, take this series and multiply the tension and elation of this series by 1000% and that's what the conference finals vs. the Devils back in '94 felt like during all that OT and the infamous Matteau goal!!!
That was a great series. One of the best I’ve seen. If we don’t pick up Vetrano, Kopp, Motte at the deadline, this series don’t go 6 games. We’re the youngest team in the playoffs. This team reminds me of the movie “ miracle” with the young USA hockey team. 2nd round Carolina, here we come!!! Let’s go NYR!!!!
@Stephen Abootman Sound bitter..... Instead of being so heartbroken and making excuses, maybe you should realize your team needs a rebuild. Your team lost and got bullied, stop living in the past.
What a By god series! The 3OT Game Shesty had, the Goal onslaught in 3 and 4 by shittsburgh the comeback in 5 and 6, and What a Moment this Is! And Sam Rosen never gets old with his Calls!
@Stephen Abootman yeah that's great us "educated" fans are aware of that. But coming on here to troll every happy Rangers fans comment with that is just sad and makes you look like you have sour grapes. Get over it and move on
I can watch the nhl feed is glorious 4K I also can get a kinda grainy MSG and Sam through “alternate means”. I choose Sam every time. He is truely a Legend!
PANARIN IS A SNIPER YOU GIVE HIM THE PUCK & 95% OF THE TIME HE SHOOTS THE PUCK IT'S GONNA GO IN, LET'S GO RANGERS NOW IT'S NEXT TEAM UP IS CAROLINA IN CAROLINA, LET'S WIN BABY JUST WIN. 💪👍
I’m a (new) hockey and rangers fan. My girlfriend is a long time Sharks fan. She cheered harder than me when the rangers buried the penguins. 😂. What an amazing shot!
This season made me admire the Rangers a lot more than I used to as far as being a worthy opponent for Tampa. I used to be a HUGE rangers fan as a kid and then they traded Big Mac and Tampa was already my home town so I had to go with the Bolts. GG Rangers.
It took a few moments but Sam got it in. "It's a power-play goal". Classy guy, he made sure his signature proclamation did not take precedent over the win. Other announcers (John Sterling - Yankees radio) should take lessons.
That is the only word truly amazing to come back from three games to one and everyone and elimination game and in the end prevail these Rangers are for real sure makes you feel good
@Stephen Abootman so you're saying that it should have won four straight because Louie Domingue was in goal and Crosby was out 1 and 1/2 games but he played the last game and he played the other game came two that's the way hockey play everybody has injuries everybody has to overcome everyone has a right to their opinion that's what you think that's fine unfortunately for you you like to look at the cup half empty I like to look at the cup half full and I'm not talking about Stanley cup
beating the Pens is like winning the cup! in hindsight this was a great postseason for my boys! beating the pens and lighting losing in the finals was just as great as winning the cup!!
