Wizard had such a glow up From worst card in the game to being a common support card in top ladder

The 3% hp buff of the normal recruits was actually huge if you play against princess tower, they barely survive 1 more shot

Here's something they could add to make the evo ice spirit more viable. The shard on top of the troops head should change colour with each freeze (e.g. blue after first freeze, green after 2nd and yellow after 3rd). And if another troop gets caught in the freeze radius in the 2nd or 3rd freeze, they get their own 3 freezes. So it basically spreads like a plague until no other troops are caught in the freeze (and troops already frozen and recovered from the "freezing plague" can't get frozen again). That way you can get lots of value if you had a group or not much at all if you only had one troop (so it could be a massive value or not much value just like the evo skeles).

The comeback evo skellies had from release is crazy. Went from an absolutely terrible evo to the best evo even with more competition.

hopefully battle ram evo becomes better after the duchess nerf. i think its very strong but has never gotten a chance to shine since it released into a duchess meta

Evo Bomber will forever be my favorite. It's so fun and I've gotten so many wins because of it.

Poor Goblin Barrel man when it was first shown to us the concept made so much sense on paper having two GB’s for the price of one but playing with the evolution now I see that it is rather underwhelming and definitely deserving of a buff in a creative way. No new evolution that comes out should be well below average and deserves some love for the people who run Logbait and I have enjoyed playing the card but haven’t had as much success as I thought I would

They better introduce a barb hut evo cuz already op cards defeats the point of the new mechanic

I think the way supercell is changing the evos by making the evos have the same health is great. this balances the evolution a ton and keeps it from being another evo fc on release being insanely op.

Recruits are specially bad with wizard and bomber evo being so good, man I wish the deck was good again, I loved attacking both lanes.

Seems like a pretty perfect list, I would just put bolin barrel evo a bit higher as the evo makes it a split lane push card attcaking both towers so in some time or maybe someone has already made a strong deck combining piggies or recruits with goblin barrel evo. Also won't put skellys in S because a lot of times they just die to random troops themselves, earlier maybe they were stronger but with hitspeed nerf and spawn nerf makes them pretty average imo. They have always been countered easily by spells, I would say they are used in top ladder just for their defensive potential as if spell isn't in rotation they could get value but offensively they just die. I have even seen them dies to barbs, recruits or even some random melee troops because of how slow the combination of slower hit speed and not spawning a skelleton if it dies nerf did

It’s actually crazy how some of these evo’s were A and S tier just months ago

I think an interesting buff to the evo ice spirit would be to have it leave its triple freezing AoE on the spot where its killed. It still wouldn't always get much value, but at least it can maybe do something if it's taken out by a log or something.

I'm a returning player and pretty much everything is similar to where I would expect it to be at either my level, or at the high level, or both. The exception in my experience is the firecracker because of how easy it is for her to deal splash damage to the tower.

Well, i am a main Miner evo wallbreakers user, and its pretty frustrating to know that it is so bad now. I still use it because i mastered this deck, and now i just poison cycle or use evo wb on defense, since they can kill minions, goblins and kite. Ik they were probably the best evo some seasons ago since they were just unfair. But literally EVERY card they add into the game is a top counter for them. I would like to see a runner damage buff or a default stage hp buff. Something really small, like 10%.

Evo Valk is literally so underrated in my opinion finally a pro player giving credit to it because of how underrated she is.

Boss, after the balance changes, the duchess won’t be able to full counter evo wallbreakers anymore, so why did you decide to finally take the balance changes into account when you did the evo knight? 💀

I see your perspective on the Evo barrel, but the thing is, the clones do just as much damage as the regular, especially if it is a split lane push like recruits. So if you have a tank for the clones, or even just fake then out with a freeze, it would definitely be a viable option to use for an Evo slot.

These are very valid and i think i would put the evo tesla as the best Evo right now and put the skeletons at 3rd after the wizard that's pretty much it bro is cooking 🔥

i heavily disagree on the goblin barrel one because i think it's not meant as a "stronger" version of it but rather a way to mix it up, it's more pressure/threat which encourages the overwhelming aspect of bait, a master of bait would probably make annoyingly great use of the goblin barrel

evo barrel also shows where goblin barrels will be deployed because of the evo gem that shows up

If you play goblin barrel as a decoy then of course it’s gonna be bad. Play split lane pressure and it’s amazing, two barrels for the prize of one it’s just incredible

The evo ice spirit should be a 1 cycle evo card and receive a significant health boost in order to be somewhat viable

Fire cracker is more of a magic archer than bomber. The fact that she can also hit air just makes her more versatile than the bomber imo.

I already have evo skeletons, barbs, firecracker, and rg, soon ill get mortar (obviously) but which one should i get next?

My idea to buff the evo barrel is to have both barrels hit the same tower but have them be staggered. The decoy barrel hits the tower first, baiting a spell. Then the real barrel lands

My idea for a evo goblin rework would be to focus on the decoy element. Nerf the decoy damage massively, and make the goblins do much more damage. I think making it more about tricking would be cool.

I wouldn't put bomber in S, specially not above knight, for me you swap those 2 and consider placing skeletons in A tier (it's either high A or low S, idk wich tho), then the list is perfect Also i really think evo goblin barrel could work really well in some log bait variations, but yeah ppl are not doing it and it can't just go higher basead only on supositions

I think the knight should get his better sheild back, since they are completely removing the health buff he should be used like an evo should where the sheild is very strong but not for stat boosts

Evo Barrel is even worse because the decoys get no damage against Dagger Duchess, and you can tell the fake or real barrel if your opponent has the star level upgraded (the real barrel is yellow)

Evo barrel is even worse than you think because it completely gives away the location of your barrel so tricky barrels are gone

Had I designed the evo goblin barrel, I probably would've made the barrel deal damage when it hits the tower. Yeah, it's boring but at least it would be useful.

I disagree with evolved archers.They must be A.The damage buff is ridiciolus and if you manage to protect them, youre basically dead.They are the only ranged troops that focing melee.

Every time I get a free evolution it usually gets nerfed or is already bad as a F2P

With the evo battle ram i use a monk in front of them so when i activate the ability he reflect the log, fireball, minions, etc

I think evo goblin barrel could really thrive in three musketeers since those kinds of decks go for damage on both towers

Just today I was playing xbow in the global challenge (sorry) and was down a lot of damage near the end of the match, then evo skellies clutch the match in overtime. Easily a top tier evolution

My favorite evo is the evo knight Edit:It's sad to see the nerf impacted the evo knight this much, i might go back to evo skeletons

To make evo barrel better, they just need to make the dummy goblins health same as regular goblins otherwise dagger duchees just 1 shots the dummy goblins which is useless

Nah bro, evolved mortar still shoota faster and attacks immediately, it's not just a mortar that shoots goblins Even the goblins are good since they waste duchess' ammo and guarentee a tower stab, Evo Mortar underrated imo

I like how a bunch of evolutions that used to be really good like wall breakers or battle ram, no longer is that good because dagger duchess hard counters them

Evo skeletons fit well into an op deck last season. They are not that broken on their own. Evo Tesla is the best Evo until it gets nerfed.

I wonder which tower troop will reign top ladder after the dagger dutchess nerf. I think it’ll be a good balance of all three. Maybe even cannoneer as #1

I don’t agree with you on the goblin barrel. Sure, it might be easy to predict, but as for example Ryley said it isn’t meant to be used in bait but rather in split lane decks specifically designed for it. Also, it’s an evo that requires a lot of skill and knowledge, so without a lot of experience it can seem weak but after playing with it for a while it starts to become stronger (kinda like with evo mortar)
