Ranking All of Discraft's Best Discs! 

I feel like an iconic discraft disc is the comet, I know it is similar to the meteor but still surprised to not see it

It's a crime that the Comet wasn't mentioned. That is a CLASSIC Discraft mold. Michael Johansen's entire career is built on the Comet, and every other Discraft woods expert bags at least one Comet.

I picked up an archer just for fun and love it. It flies true to the flight numbers and is a hyzer flip bomb. I think more amateurs/low speed arms should try this disc. It flies way farther than any mid range I've ever thrown.

The Buzzz SS is the buzzz for the people ….. really missing on the list

I can't believe the Malta is rated so low lol. I have the Malta in a couple different plastics and they bomb for a midrange. I get that it's not for everyone though, just shocked that it's dog toy tier 😂

Speaking of throwing Luna's far, I don't know if he was Reid's cousin or brother in law, but I remember we all 3 played final round lead card at the Amlanta Championships at Alexander and he threw a McBeth Tour Series Luna almost every throw. I'm pretty sure he won too LOL 😂

The Buzz OS is a sneaky sick disc. Its one of my most thrown mids. Super workable for flex shots, but it feels pretty much like your buzz. Get one so you guys can put it in swanky next time!

Love all the Heat love my go too flippy driver. Wish the Mantis was on this list my favorite 8 speed disc.

I feel personally attacked on the Malta 😂 I love the disc. Mine flies super straight and very torque resistant. It had honestly replaced my buzz.

my missy thrashers are so pretty!and its so much more flipper than hades.. this is the disc for intermediates 280-450, its so much fun..

Sol is a pretty great flippy mid. Recently added it to my bag and it perfectly fits a needed slot

Agree with almost everything. The Athena is great if not swank for me. I bagged teebirds for a while but never actually loved it. Just used it for one or two throws a game bevause i didnt like how it felt in my hand. The Athena i can control well and theow as far as my speed 9s and discraft plastic is top tier. Not to mention you can het it cheaper and with more consistency in flight between discs (as you both stated) great video!

I’m also a sucker for 7,5,0,2 discs, and I think Athena is among the top ones I have tried! Discraft really nailed that one and I think it objectively should have been in great or even Swanky.

I think the buzzz is so popular because it’s just extremely trustworthy every time I throw my buzzz I know what it’s going to do with wind or no wind

Back in the old days you had to choose between the Buzzz and the Roc, and Buzzz felt better. That's where the legend comes from. Nowadays there's discs that are as good but you really can't go wrong with Buzzz. Anax and other 10-11 speed control drivers that are flat are the things you can yank into headwind quite liberally and nothing bad happens unless you throw it high. Got (discontinued) Lat64 Blitz and just bought (unavailable) DD Sergeant (used, not thrown) to compare. I wonder why there's so few flat discs like that. Athena is flat too. But... just bought a halo Roc3 because it was pretty :D and it's understable - atrociously bad. Maybe should've bought champ but that wouldn't have been pretty.

Great list! Move the Hades way up, possibly Swanky. That disc is so consistent and a workhorse similar to my Buzzz. Buzzz is their best disc ever. I’ve had so many throw ins from 100+ feet. Performs so well at 200-250 even in wind conditions.

I agree with you guys on so many different DG lists. But….. not this one. A fierce is definitely not a shallow putter! I hate the feel of the passion! The undertaker runs are very inconsistent. So I’m throwing all three over water! Also talking about the thrasher. It’s my go to. Just got in FLX plastic. And the Scorch is a great disc especially for someone making the jump to a higher speed disc! Love you guys!

What’s going to happen to the bag and discs from discmas?

As a dude that throws 375 max, I throw an Ezra Nuke and wouldn't be without it. On downhills or long straight forehands it flips up goes straight, then fades EVERY SINGLE TIME. The only time I find it too beefy is with a significant tailwind. I get a good 25 to 40 extra feet on it over my Wraith or Grace. Ive heard that the Ezras are less stable than the mainline versions, so that might have something to do with it. With that said, my Presnell Force is completely a utility disc for me - beefcake.

Hey Swanky gang, love the channel. You guys should give the numbers for the discs when you review them, many of us are not familiar enough with all the discs and may have never even heard of them! What ever happened to the bag of discs you were going to give away?

Sometimes you were rating discs solely against other discraft discs and sometimes you were rating discs against other manufacturers

I think the Undertaker is underrared. I think its a really swanky beginner/older person driver.

Y’all hating on the Avenger ss way too much. As someone who doesn’t have a huge arm it’s one of my favorite drivers. Also the only disc I have an ace with. Hit a 287ft ace with my avenger ss. I threw it on a huge hyzer spike around a tree to crash into the basket. I just about sharted.

Use to really love the Zeus and still do like it and is actually pretty good for forearm shots. But my main bread and butter is the Nuke!!

The Meteor definitely belongs in the Great tier, and the Wasp deserves a mention as a great backhand and forehand midrange.

Hades has to be swanky. Its a great first DD. Plus it's super easy to throw. You dont even have to try and it just gets easy distance. Plus you can get it in big z if you cant throw understable stuff.

The Hades is just Discrafts more expensive version of the Innova Tern. Avenger SS > Heat (backhand roller)

Zeus throws amazingly! You can get flippy to beefy just like a destroyer, but I throw 50' further with my Zeus' than I do my destroyers.

I just started throwing a Malta and I like it. It has dependable fade and I can throw it farther than my zone.

It’s so crazy lol i legit use my Malta for like any shot inside of 250 feet. It’s all about what works for you haha

this is weird because my nuke is more understable than my zeus and my thrasher is way more understable compared to my hades like out of the box my thrasher has to be thrown on hyzer or it will turn the whole flight and not come back unless i give it some height

I use a z vulture when i need to throw a smooth hyzer around 275-325. I havent tried throwing any flex shots with it though really bought it cause my raptor doesnt seem to be as consistent unless I really rip it

Meteor is such a good midrange. It’s as good as the Buzzz but understable af. Luke is tripping off that recency bias. Athena is a clone. Hades is dime a dozen Meteor has so much integrity in ESP. I’m not even a discraft fan, but their 3-5 speeds are their best

the SOL needs to be on here so great for new players or even experience players, I'm rated 998 and still have for if I end up in a weird spot with no look or something

I feel like the raptor is more of a good sexton Firebird/ OS thundy kind of disc rather than a crazy utility disc. If you need more stability, they make the cap rap for a reason. Raptor and Zone are the best 2 discraft molds imo.

I'd wish they would produce more Drones. I'm not big on overstable midranges, but the Drone is like a longer ranged Zone.

I definitely get that the malta isnt for everyone, but for me it is my go to disc for almost anything. I have an X plastic one which is just a bit more stable than my esp buzz, my big Z malta is more similar to a champ rock, and my esp is beef but not quite justice level.

Banger GT for putting and Buzzz GT for 250-285ft straight drives!

The rubber blend Luna is the greatest putting putter. Proton Envy is the greatest throwing putter.

Funny to me that you love the comfort of the Passion. I was excited to get one and as soon as I held it in my hand the first time, I knew I’d never have it in my bag. One of the least comfortable discs I own.

i really liked my anax till the wind took it into a brush over water and i couldn't reach it LOL still crossing my fingers someone is honorable and returns it. i have a scorch i'm just kinda MEH about it .. i hate it for forehands (i'm a forehand dominant player) it immediately flips over for me unless i throw it on some heavy hyzer.. that being said .. throwing backhand which i'm just starting to work on more i don't mind it.. not my fav so it rarely comes out though

The hades have more glide than the thrasher other than that they are the same disc but you missed the classic flash and my favorite the crank

A champ Thrasher is a staple in my bag for flip up hyzers and right bending RHBH. Esp Nuke and a domey Nuke SS as well for long bombs and a roller. For me personally, Buzz's are untustable garbage. Standard, OS, or SS just don't work for me. I'll take a Mustang or any of the other names that disc takes any day. Edit: I'm no pro by far. My absolute max is maybe 400 on a good throw. But an ESP Nuke (looking at you Uli) works stellar for a flat, low, straight 350 to 380ish, maybe a little more, with a slight flair at the end. A nessisary throw for thick ash juniper Texas courses.

in my opinion Roach is best disc atm from discraft lineup for me, i own nearly all molds and thrown tested etc. i just dont like zone or buzzz because personal reasons mostly that for me they dont feel right in my hand.

Swing and a miss on the Malta guys! Love your videos most of the time. But I’m a Discraft junkie and you guys really messed this up with some of these discs. I’ll probably make a less that good quality level video about how wrong you are on the Malta lol. Stay tuned. Swanky got me cranky with this Malta hate!

Meteor is my favorite discraft disc but the axiom neutron vanish is better than the esp hades.

if you wanna try a better 4 speed try the LANDER by LAUNCH, Ive tried most 4 speeds, it puts the zone to shame, i cn get it up to 280-300, the zone 220-250. touchier and so so cheap... its revolutionised my game.. also im a fanboy of discraft i have hundreds

Tbh Discraft doesn’t have the best molds…. Innova has made much more timeless and better discs. Even though innova doesn’t have the best quality they’re still much better discs than Discraft

Zone is #1, the rest are not worth it in my opinion. So many companies make better discs in far nicer plastic.
