Bet they watch bleach later arc first on RU-vid then after finishing spoiling with themselves they decide to watch bleach. First season is literally a whole different art style it’s special in its own
I never understood the hate for the first season. I remember being a kid and literally feeling like my world was changing with Ichigo’s. Yes the voice acting was a little cheesy but I feel like all the characters developed themselves naturally.
True. I'm wondering if its like rewatchability? Like arc 1 is great but everything after it is just so hype. I respect the 1st season for setting everything up and getting me into the show, its a great appetizer, but that main course is what I truly want to eat.
The Worst thing About the First arc is , That Everything Was just Unexpected,I mean How did Chad Got that Super Hammer mode and How the F did Orihime's Hairband Become Some Mini Fire Shooters
I read Bleach when it first came out as a kid. The 1st arc is a certified CLASSIC Not many manga can truly balance “Japanese comedy”, spiritualism, action, & story. But Bleach did
@@flamescope9554 It’s not bad in the slightest.. you have to be creative to make a whole universe that actually works and makes sense. It could be better but it’s a Shonen manga… if you want “deep story” read Berserk, Monster, Death Note, etc
@@Shenjow6 so basically you’d prefer for the second episode to be rukia getting herself captured immediately after ichigo receiving his soul reaper powers?😂
Second half of the Fullbring Arc was “Perfect”. Loved the fact that the villains brought Ichigo to his knees in an emotional fit of helplessness and then it was an AMAZING moment when he got back his soul reaper powers and saved the day.
Tbh when I was watching Bleach litteraly every arc the first half is boring and the second half is the best including soul society I haven't watched thousand years of blood war I mean I stopped watching anime long ago so I just came back
without exaggeration, the arc of the society of souls would not be half as good without the first arc, mainly because much of the plot of the protagonists revolves around Rukia and the affection that is they felt in the first arc. Conclusion, if tite kubo had done it differently then the soul society would also change
@@jabroni6175It really does. Without the time spent building their relationship in the first arc, I highly doubt anyone would've digged an entire arc focused on saving one specific person. Not to mention that the first arc focuses more on world building so it's integral even without soul society arx.
Honestly ichigos relationship with rukia didn't even matter to me I didn't care why he was saving her I just loved the story going on even the said story with Aizen it was all good
@@thecubeheadguy6747 true bro, its my fav arc Seriously its just so good man, ichigo losing everything his friends, family and memories and the despair ichigo felt and his cry serierly best arc for me tho
So you gonna put the Bount arc on here but not the Zanpakuto Rebellion or the False Captain arc? And yes, they are fillers, but still some good characters and moments. Like the False Captain arc giving us one of the best Getsuga Tenshou scene.
The zanpakto rebellion arc was so fucking intriguing at first! Wasn't a huge fan of how it ended, but the concept was honestly really good! The amagai arc was a bit eh for me. Bount arc had some decent moments.
@@HackedGlitch265 I liked the idea and I did enjoy it, until the 2nd half. But having all the soul reapers fighting their own Zanpakuto to see how well they truly know them was great
The first arc was very interesting as it was the introduction to the surroundings, made a connection between the us and the anime and it also had new stories every episode ( my favourite one being the one in which they tell about ichigo's mom's death)
It has updated animation and it looks amazing, but I hate yhwach ( even ginjou was a better villain probably ), and I hate how lazily Yamamoto was killed after he showed his Bankai, that fight deserved to be made tougher but no our Yhwach wants to be completely boring and stupidly overpowered.
@@Shado_Arts904, but they didn't show the reason behind his motives clearly, though I know he is a Quincy and he hates shinigamis but that alone shouldn't be sufficient for the massive destruction he causes and also he wants to kill the soul king but why exactly idk.
@@mr.nobody7258Not only that In manga Manga Spoilers ahead!!! All sternritters who were shown to be undefeatable got defeated and left no impact on the audience as Espada did except for Bazz B, Jugram, Gerard and As nodt . Vizards got completely ignored. Side characters like Urahara had to fight weakest Quincy in royal guards . Yuha Bah for the worst conclusion possible. I know there will changes in anime but they can't fix the side characters injustice and Yuha Bah defeat
Personally, I enjoyed Fullbring Arc and feel that it doesn't get enough credit. The first half was, okayish, but the latter half was a myriad of emotions and thrill. Especially when Ichigo finally regains his Shinigami powers, and not just regain, he becomes stronger than ever, and gave Ginjo a run for his money.
at first it felt boring, but then it started to build the hype it got kinda better( or maybe i got used to it ) but the finale i am a man(boy) of morals and principles and i have not in my 16 years of life said a single cuss/swear word but man . I want those hours that i wasted on the shitshow (only bount arc)
The only good thing about the bount arc imo was Maki Ichinose's past with Zaraki Kenpachi and Kenny easily dispatching of him lol. That was Maki's whole life's mission, but just another easy day for Zaraki 😂
@@Jaeger_JCthis is the worst take about Bount Arc I've ever seen (yeah, it is not good, but not because it's non canon). For me what ruined this arc was introduction to 3 most annoying background characters period (even Jar Jar Binks from Star Wars prequel trilogy is not as annoying as these 3)
@@frejpmbecause they don’t like to see a main character at their lowest point. It is really a depressing arc and for a lot of people that were late to getting into BLEACH… they just see ichigo gets his powers back in the end anyway without the journey Ichigo took to get it back. To me, this arc is what set Ichigo apart from the rest of the Big 3 MC’s… and I always go back this arc on why Ichigo is not only the best MC but also the most human and deepest.
@@ymirofgrimm9115 bro people sleeps on shows, doesn't mean it's boring... I've had my arse wait for endgame to release back in 2018/19 only to sleep off mid way. Saying snoozefest doesn't prove nothing😮💨
@@FJUVHJDSR There's nothing to understand, ichigo takes rukia's powers, ichigo's family and his group of friends can see hollows and Shinigami since they heard the demi-hollow scream in the TV show, they meet a quincy, lion plush becomes a pervy lion plush and then rukia is kidnapped Boom 1st arc resumed on a post it
I have read everything up until the end of Fullbring, and I love all of it. Including the first arc, I wish it had went on maybe a bit longer, it had such a chill and hip vibe. My favorite part is Hueco Mundo. The Aaroniero fight was so epic, so was Grimmjow fight, and the Ulquiorra fight is my favorite one in the series so far.
Dude watch it, it's really good, just take it slow and easy, no need to rush. And also i promise the captain's are super awesome each has different personalities and ichigo is very different from Naruto and luffy and just wants to be safe and left alone, bleach is awesome
The first episode was just pure badass but after that most of the episodes were just mid until when he was crushed by byakuya and the introduction of soul society that was just pure mayhem bleach sole crux is always looking badass in every aspect
I watch bleach when it came out with new episodes every week on adult swim and when the Bount arc started that shit was torture as I had to wait for bleach every week to only have to watch this arc. It almost made me almost drop bleach 😂
That's why a lot of people drop bleach. It also comes in between the soul society and arrancar arcs, which are arguably the best and it drags on and on forever. Imo it's best to watch bleach without fillers
@@wolf-8476I liked bleach fillers arcs actually because it's look like a cannon arc until finding out it's not. Out of all bount arc I find more canon due to it came just after soul society and beginning of arrancar arc where there were mentioned of soul society incident as well arrancar and hollow mask.
Honestly the only reason I enjoyed bount arc is because the concept of the races were way too cool. They were basically stands that u could manipulate on the atomic level. Although the plot sucked the race was cool
@@thegameking3931 other the Bount arc, all other fillers were literarly breaking the story line and made no sense considering power levels and abilities at the time. Because they placed them during war spanning several arcs. These arcs were often happening at the same time just in different locations and fillers just made no sense in between them.
@@Mithguar still I loved the story of both filler arc the only thing I didn't disliked was it came out of nowhere between ongoing arrancar/fake karakura town arc. Also that zanpakto arc had some flashbacks of arrancar arc which made it confusing weather it take place after or before since arrancar continued till aizen defeat
What amazes me is that people will shit on the Bount arc, but praise the Fullbring arc. When you think about it the Bount arc was for Uryu what the Fullbring arc is for Ichigo.
@@betterlatethannever4529 Bount arc is filler arc, Fullbring was in the manga. But i will give it that Bount arc is only filler arc that makes sense in over all story and isn't obvious filler.
Full bring is so underrated if it wasn’t after arrancar or atleast they had a cool down arc before fullbring it would’ve been the best arc in the show series besides TYBW
@@thecubeheadguy6747 nah it’s cuz bleach itself is underrated since in most people’s top 10 arcs (that include all anime) they don’t usually include it, I’ve never seen a list of top 10 with soul society that isn’t only bleach arcs
Those says Bount Arc is trash man u gotta really see some doctor. First of all Bount Arc is a filler but also it is one of best filler arc i have seen. Although Jin Karia is a filler villain but he's still better than many villain out there.
@ReX_THE_CONQUEROR literally the only redeeming part of tge bount arc was its main villain. Every other villain was worst than mid. The dark blur haired soul reaper that hated kenpachi was actually annoying, the racing was shit, none of the good guys had anything impactful except "fight the bad guys" and even tge mc was just there to fight the main villain of tge arc.
The Bount arc is the only filler arc in Bleach I couldn't finish. I couldn't even get halfway through. The other three, not only did I finish, but I can rewatch and still enjoy. Yes, even the Kasumioji Conspiracy arc, which a lot of people consider to be not much better than the Bount arc.
I almost didn’t watch bleach because of the first arc. Now I understand why it’s so good though. I’m about to go back in the next couple days or so and watch the filler( not the bount arc )
People misunderstood the bount arc. It wasn't for the villains it was more about Ichigo's internal conflict with himself. He couldn't comprehend his hollow side and it scared him which is why he held back alot.
All arcs are important and interesting in their own way. The only question is what interest they brought to the overall plot. For example, I believe that the first arc is an integral part of the plot, which actually immerses you in the world of Shinigami and Hollows. Subsequently, you dive deeper and deeper and eventually reach the Arrancar arcs and realize that it was definitely worth it! I think that the bount arc is a wonderful arc, which may not be particularly relevant to the plot, but at least it is interesting. It's like a break between important parts to increase interest. Fullbring arc may make you think that this is the end and nothing more will happen, but in fact this only increases interest in the continuation. And the continuation is definitely worth it!
Hueco mundo arc had horrible pacing in the first half. It was after the shinigami arrived when it got a little interesting Whereas TYBW was way too rushed, especially in the manga
First arc and Fullbring seriously need to be appreciated more… it’s almost like a certain percentage of the bleach community did not understand the arcs art all
The fullbring arc was one of my favorites i dont get how people dont like it, i love the psychologicl horror type elements that got introduced around the middle of the arc and just seeing ichigo trying so hard and not being able to protect things he was once able to protect was so interesting, i also really liked the fullbringers they were cool
This list has to be a troll. The first arc is literally peak, without it Bleach wouldn't even exist. And Fullbring is arguably one of the best arcs and is just overhated for no reason. It's crazy how people genuinely believe the past arc> Fullbring arc when the Fullbring arc did everything better and was the most meaningful for Ichigo's character development out of all arcs. You can't expect immediate action within the literal first few episodes, that's why build up exists.
The first arc is one of my favorites in bleach but I understand why people hate it I can barley remember any villains since they feel like filler the only good episodes was ichigo visiting his mom grave and the last few episodes from uryu appearance to end The fullbring arc is underrated not gonna lie it was a good way to end the bleach anime so we can wait for thousand year blood war so tho there are more good than bad in the arc the bad is a good reason to hate it just a few like (getting rid of ichigo black cloak fullbring for the trash one in the end, changing the main villain of the arc even tho both of them mean nothing to ichigo, ichigo shinigami powers when returned were different, and making it seem like isshin kurasaki has deep secrets and it’s never explored until TYBW when it’s just thrown at are face)
@@anime_world6684 you literally contradicted yourself. The first arc is one of your favorites, but you can’t remember the villains, and there’s only a few good episodes? The first dark is amazing, and your opinion on it is garbage.
@@dontworryaboutit5490 how is that contradicting myself I said I like the arc one of my favorites because of its ending episodes for example so many bad things about cell saga yet it’s one of people favorite arcs of all time because of how it ended In your words if I think an arc is one of the best it’s perfect, no dude no, I don’t know how my opinion is garbage when I don’t have an opinion on forgettable villains 😂
@@aritrabanik828 unnecessary?? more like giving their side characters screentime ...if side characters doesn't get screentime only you people will complain...and how it is unnecessary Every captain and lieutenants were fighting espadas and ferracion
Never understood why people dislike the first arc. It builds up nicely and it slowly introduced us to what's happening in the world of bleach and what's in store. What's the soul society? What is that dark world we see hollows consume Orihime's brother? Will we ever see the other side of the gates of hell? How did Ichigo get his own SR powers? Who is Kisuke? Etc
Agent of shinigami is my wnd favorite arc in the show so far behind soul society. I say so far because tybw isnt done yet but that def could go as 1 or 2. Agent of shinigami is so good. The way it introduces the characters and how the world works is nice. Like Uryu for example the payoff in the next arc when he fights Mayuri was awesome and it wouldnt be as cool if it didnt take its time in letting us understand why Quincies and Soul Reapers are enemies
I can understand why people wouldn't like the first arc, but to me, it was my favorite. What made it so unique and cool was the relationship between Ichigo and Rukia- and their contrasting new situations. Ichigo is on some classic Spider-Man type arc where he's a highschooler that gets superpowers and now has to learn to use them. While Rukia on the otherhand, was a soul reaper who now has to be a highschool girl. This made for a really nice blend of action and comedy. Rukia mentoring Ichigo made their relationship nice, too. Even more, with Inoue, Chad, and Ishida, it was like his entire friend group was also on their own Spider-Man journey- occasionally intersecting. It basically blended the concepts of "highschool" and "hero" in a unique way. Honestly, I wish we had more of this because it has a lot of potential imo. Instead, we got the "save the princess" arc and then that arc gets recycled with a new "princess". The whole show would've been a lot different if they had just stayed in highschool.
Bro Capping on the first Arc, it was interesting with all the hollows, imagine in your house 🏠 watching RU-vid videos in your bedroom 🛌 and then feel a giant Hand grabs you by the waiste, and you can't see shit..
First arc set the pacing and introduced the cast generally well while hinting at deeper mysteries. Every arc after was mostly a “nuh uh, I am in fact the stronger person” sequence of moves within fights. All power-scaling was both exponential and utterly voided at nothing but plot convenience.
The substitute shinigami ark was pretty good as an introduction to the series. It set a good baseline for how soul reapers work, how hollows work, and how quincy’s work. Yeah compared to the other arcs it’s not as high stakes but it’s not boring by any means
Even though the thousand year blood war arc ended in a deus ex machina, I enjoyed bleach so much for the character development and boss fights it had pushing the shinigamis to do their best
You forgot an arc, i believe one of the most underrated arcs, Zanpakutō Unknown Tales Arc, which showed us the Zanpakuto as sentient beings. Gave us a lot of background to the zanapkutos.
Maybe you need to be a version age demographic but THE FIRST ARC IS GOLD . Like sora coming through the wall HOOKED ME . I've been a fan since 2003 and I'll stay a fan
I really liked the fullbringer arc, the truth is that it is a very psychological arc that seeks to develop Ichigo's character where he tests the desire and desire to have his power again, how much he wants it, how much he needs it.
Disagree on the first arc. Super cozy monster-of-the-week vibes that also really gave you a chance to see the main characters as regular teenagers coming to terms with complex supernatural forces they've all been impacted by but could never understand until then. It lays the foundation for why the Soul Society arc is so impactful.
Also the first two arcs planted most of the seeds for all of the later things on the late story for example that ichigo was born as a quincy with white (a hollow) as his soul and that he became a shinigami (thats the reason he has two swords)
fullbring arc is actually decent if not good. The fullbring arc introduced us to a new power that is “alive-friendly” and some character has really cool power concept (ex.tsukishima). SPOILER some character came back in TYBW arc and actually played a major role.
Not counting the zanpakuto arc is a crime to me. That arc was so special. It makes you understand very well the true nature of the bond between a soul reaper and his zanpakuto
