The Iowa game will be very low scoring I think no matter what. Iowa's 1st and 2nd string QB are both out. Padilla is transferring and Petras' is having surgery.
Considering it's the best defensive matchup of all the bowls and the worst offensive one, plus Levis opting out at Kentucky, it should be very low scoring. Iowa may blow out the Cats 9-3 on the strength of having an elite-level defense, whereas Kentucky's is merely excellent.
I don't think TCU is necessarily gonna get blown out. They have a great QB, they are an excellent 2nd half team and Michigan has looked vulnerable at times. In the end I think Michigan will win but TCU could make it a game.
I'm a Wolverines fan. We play hard start to finish and have dominated the second half all year. I say our defense will get to Max Duggan all night and wear him down. Then they'll start their final assault and take the game. I'll go with Michigan and a 33-24 win.
Hope TCU remembers a few years ago getting dissed by the ex Big 10 (or whatever they’re called now) commissioner. Old bulletin board material they used once but now they have a chance to really prove it…however, My $ on Michigan
That Louisville vs Cincy game will be interesting because Satterfield is now going to Cincy from Louisville. Interesting to see him coach against his old team a few weeks after leaving them.
Satterfield should coach both teams in the bowl game. Showing him running from sideline to sideline and both celebrating and getting angry every time either team makes a big play would be comedy gold!
NCAA rules prohibit Satterfield from coaching Cincy in a bowl game when he was neither part of the coaching staff for Cincy during the regular season, nor is he a former Cincy head coach. He will have to wait until next season to coach the Bearcats in a game. Of course, Cincy would not allow Satterfield to coach against the Bearcats after signing with them.
These arbitrary lists are generally useless, but your list was both entertaining and well thought out. Nice job and i agree with most of your sentiment.
The Midwest or northeast needs a ny6 bowl game It's so unfair that northern teams have to travel across the nation for bowl games while southern teams get to stay in their region
What a bunch of crybabies. Nobody wants to be in freezing weather for a "reward." Even snowbirds move down south when they retire. The Pinstripe Bowl, Military Bowl, Potato Bowl, etc. are all in northern climates. Nobody claims that northern teams are favored or "it's not fair." If you need weather to win, you don't deserve to win. It's not all that hot outside of maybe the Orange Bowl if the OB is not a night game.
I'm telling you, the Fiesta bowl will be a lot closer than the Peach Bowl. Ohio State is much worse than you think and TCU is much better than you think.
UConn I believe will have a great bowl game...Jim Mora took an 1 and 11 team.last year and took them into a bowl game in his first year. Zion Turner is a true freshman, he's improving. He wasn't supposed to play this year.
Flukey win?? Oregon State had second quarter comeback by scoring 28 unanswered points… how is that a fluke? I’m just gonna go with the idea that you’re being sarcastic 😅
Lol u didn’t pick Ohio state vs Georgia!!! And your wrong so far on the tcu vs wolverines games tcu is winning and looks like it’s going to be under ! Lmaooo you picked almost all the favorites and over anyone can pick all the favorites! And over ! Haaa😂
