You can't put Poland and Serbia in Group Stage and then proceed to put Romania, Turkey, Czech Republic and Slovenia in R16 which none of them even qualified to the WC 2022. How can you say that Ukraine would make it to the QF when they didn't even qualified for the WC since 2010. Ukraine didn't qualify from 1996 to 2008 for the Euro, lost in Group Stage 2012 and 2016. The only good Euro was 2020 with the QF. The Rest of the Tier List is pretty good but that part is not relatable

Stronger?better keeper and striker but malinovsky is much worst nowadays,zinchenko level also drop and yarmolenko is just a retired player.You need a great euro by 5,6 starting players,lunin,zabarny,mudryk,tsinhakov,sudakov and dovbik to have a chance to get into last 8 and free of injuries.The bench is much worst than the first eleven.Even in the first eleven players like konoplya,brazkho,matviyenko are pretty average.

​@@margaridacosta270 It was worse 4 years ago. We did not have a strong reliable forward. Defenders were weaker. That team was totally dependent on Zinchenko and Malinovslyi. And they played worse than Sudakov, Tsygankov or Mudryk currently play. That time we reached the QF by luck. We only beat North Macedonia in the group and qualified from the 3rd place and received not very strong Sweden as an opponent. We also did not have a reliable bench. So in no way that team was stronger. Current team is definitely stronger and players keep progressing. I agree that Konoplya and Brazhko are average players right now. I do not agree about Matviyenko. He is reliable enough and experienced. The fact that he does not play in top-5 championship does not make him an average player. In fact he could be sold to Arsenal and his price is more than 20M now. We have Stepanenko who always was a highly experienced defense midfield. Brazhko is a substitute. Tsygankov is certainly better than Yarmolenko now. But Yarmolenko can play good enough for 15-20 minutes so a good candidate for substitution. We have Mykolenko in defense. We have Yaremchuk who can efficiently substitute Dovbyk. He is weaker, but still he can change the game (as it happened e.g. against Bosnia). We have Shaparenko - good enough (Sudakov-style) underrated player who was injured. In fact - matches against Bosnia and Iceland were the first matches in many years were substitutions strengthen the team. Yes we still do not have reliable bench. But it is better than we had before. I do not think Slovakia or Romania have stronger substitutes. Of course, we have little chances against top-teams. But we certainly can qualify from this group and if we have enough luck can win one more game in playoffs and reach QF. That is our maximum for now. But our players keep progressing and we will become stronger with time.

Actually, there's also a few hidden gems in the squad, who can make Ukraine a real dark horse. Defensive midfielder Brazhko, central midfielder Shaparenko and tricky striker Vanat. First one has potential to be the next Rodri, second - guy with 2 pair of lungs who beat Sudakov in most of aspects, both attack and defence. Vanat - 22 yo prospect, who managed to become both best striker and best assistant in Ukrainian league, 14+10 in 28 games. First two seem to be in main 11, Vanat will definitely be a joker. So maybe quarter-final is not their limit

I agree 100%. Also having an organised defense can help alot, even if the players themselves aren't world class individually. And Belgium also has alot of solid keepers outside of Courtois, which is also a big plus. Imo, biggest problem is that, while we have talented young defenders, they still lack experience at the highest level. And our experienced defenders are either getting too old ( Vertonghen ) or just decent at best ( Faes, Castagne, Meunier ) which isn't really reliable against the other top teams.

Faes is terrible with Belgium (1 big change per game for the opponent), De Winter is unexperienced in the Belgian squad (1 cap), Debast is formed as a midfielder and he has problems to defend in 1vs1. Theate is decent and Castagne is good. But this defense is a mess and without Courtois I will be very surprised if we will get the semi finals spot

Before we played Germany at the last euros, everyone was saying that Germany would beat at us. When we won 2-0, these same people started making up excuses that it is a bad Germany team.
