Mountain Dew: Liberty Brew was this cursed abomination of a soda; 50 flavors in one god-forsaken can. Came out right before covid, which was simultaneously the worst yet best thing to ever happen. Right at that same time, cheez-itz came out with the best snack known to man: extra toasty. Typical covid lunch was a bowl of extra toasty cheez itz and a can of liberty brew, which (in case you didn't know) is the secret combination of foods to unlock the "dead by heart attack at 25" secret ending to your life. Liberty Brew is by no means something that is 'good' but damnit it was amazing taking a sip and, for a moment, seeing what God saw in the world when he said "this is good." This of course was immediately followed by crushing chest pain and a strange tightness in my jaw (heart attack symptoms). The only remedy to that is to keep on drinking it to remain in a constant state of euphoria, constantly evading the heart attack symptoms like a billionaire evading their taxes. Liberty Brew will always hold a special place in my heart. I know this because I have recurring chest pain. If they never release it again, I'll have a chance at living a long and healthy life. But if they ever come out with it again, I'll be downing that stuff faster than a priest downs his daily 3-5 bottles of wine. If that coveted day ever comes, wish me the best of luck. I'll have either ascended to godhood, or I'll be dead on my kitchen floor after suffering from 3 consecutive heart attacks.
voltage is too sweet for me ngl. but my brother likes it a lot. still og mtn dew is the best, have yet to try baja blast and whatnot, struggling to find it locally.
Scary part is he hasn’t even scratched the surface of dew flavors. All the other baja flavors, the other zero sugar flavors, thrashed apple, purple thunder, pitch black, white out, maui burst, and so many more. We need a part 2!

I used to work at a gas station, and every time a new Mtn Dew flavor came in I would try it. I also tried the seasonal ones that came out every year knowing I didn't like them. The worst flavors I have ever had were: 1. Spicy Mtn Dew. This shit tasted like battery acid. Wasn't spicy on the tongue, but felt like it was trying to melt your stomach on the inside. 2. Gingerbread Mtn Dew. Looks like cum, tastes even worse. 3. Pineapple blast. I just hate pineapple flavored products.
I’m very surprised they didn’t get frost bite, thrashed apple, Maui burst, ,mango gem, baja gold and liberty brew. Pretty much every time I go to the grocery store I see these ones being sold. But I haven’t really seen mango gem or baja gold recently.

Fun fact of todays video “in 2009 Pepsi co got served a lawsuit over a dead rat being in a Mountain Dew bottle by a sonsumer, the consumer reached out to Mountain Dew before the lawsuit and Pepsi co (the owner of mtn dew) replied back with a creative “the rat would have descintegrated well before the consumer got it.” Meaning the consumer wouldn’t know there was a dead rat in his mtn dew until he either tasted it or smelt how bad it was.”

Just because you can formulate perfect sentences doesn't mean others can. That's why we read titles, it clearly says what we could find over course there will be more they just either couldn't find or didn't want to pay international fees for a bottle/can of soda.

There’s some gas station exclusive flavors, sparked used to be Speedway/SA exclusive. Casey’s has overdrive which is a raspberry-lime-mango, holiday has purple thunder which is berry plum, kfc has the sweet lightning, Sams club has berry monsoon, dollar general has Maui burst, and Buffalo Wild Wings has a flavor as well

Okay but the Gingerbread Snapped was actually my favorite Mountain Dew they ever made. I absolutely loved it and had to have it whenever my dad went to the store to pick up some groceries. I’m happy Charlie ranked that an S! He seriously knows where it’s at with the Gingerbread one! 🤣
Voodew 2021 (V3) was a fruit candy chew (according to Mtn Dew's official Twitter), but more specifically, a blue raspberry taffy flavor. The V1 (D-Tier for Charlie) was candy-corn. V2 is similar to Skittles. But like, all the flavors at the same time so it's blech.
Can confirm at least regular Mt Dew works as a perfectly fine mixer for pretty much any clear alcohol and various rums. Don't recommend it for whiskey though.

Pitch Black originally came out alongside Halo 3 or during its run im pretty sure. It was so good, As a kid I didn't care for sodas too much but I remember GUZZLING those at a buddies house while we played Halo and Oblivion lmao
The original Pitch Black was one of their contest flavours in 2000-something, it ran with White Out which unfortunately won and was made permanent flavour, even though OG Pitch Black was clearly superior.
I had the same experience they had with mixing all the dew flavors as i did when i visited the world of coke for a field trip. I taste tested every flavor of soda they had and mixed em all at the end and had the craziest caffeinated rush in my life.
The reason there are so many moistcritikals isn't because they started off that way to begin with... Charlie is the patient zero and one day we will all be speaking in a monotone voice with an expansive outdated vocabulary yapping about goofy internet stories.
This may have been said already, but slight correction to Matt: the Halo 3 tie in was specifically with the first release of Game Fuel, which at the time was only Citrus Cherry not the Mystic Punch flavor in the video. It was brought back with Mystic Punch, but due to scarcity and being far more popular it sold out pretty quickly and it looks like they couldn’t find a bottle for the video. Still loved it as always!
Man, if I knew Charlie was gonna be doing a Mountain Dew video and still needed the Halo Mountain Dew Citrus Cherry, I would've sent 2 cans of the stuff. I still got about 1-2 boxes of a 12 pack of the soda. But, I love that soda and wouldn't give that soda up easily, so I might sell a single can to them for $10, maybe more.

I haven't had MD in over 20 years. I had three cups at a pizza place when I was 8. For the first time. Turns out I am extremely sensitive to caffeine. (Like can't have coke or Pepsi without it seeking revenge) I basically did my first bowel cleanse with MD. I've always been jealous of people who could try all of these. Glad I can experience vicariously through Charlie.
The reason the sugar was so inconsistent is that all of the ones they were looking at that had 70+ grams of sugar were 20 oz bottles, but all the ones they said had around 45 were 12 oz, they actually all have about the same amount of sugar.
Hello, Alcoholic here. Mtn Dew works super well as a mixer. Here are the favorite combos I've tried in order of how good they are: Code Red + Malibu Code Red + Pink Whitney (I can drink this shit like Juice) Regular Dew + Malibu Voltage + Malibu Voltage + Vodka Spark + Vodka Honorable Mentions: Game Fuel Citrus Cherry + Vodka(I had high hopes but it's kinda gross lol, also the flavor is rarely ever available so adding alcohol is a bit of a waste) , Baja Deep Dive + Malibu (This flavor of dew was given away in a sweepstakes and I had to win it, kind of a waste of such a limited flavor but it does couple well with malibu, vodka not so much) You're welcome.
Just dont do regular dew and coconut vodka. Its not bad it just doesnt change much. For coconut vodka i recommend other fruity sodas like Sprite, Pibb, (Any of the really fruity dews aside from regular), or if you go to food lion pick up the $1.25 2 liter fruity sodas they have from their brand. They work amazingly as mixers
The 2021 voodoo is like such a good flavor and it was during covid so It was so cool to see that can a can I haven't seen since wearing a mask constantly ❤
Mountain Dew connoisseur here. There are a ton of flavors they didn't try. Almost every grocery store, gas station, and restaurant has their own exclusive dew flavor. There are of course countless discontinued flavors that weren't in the video too. My all time favorite was Black Label. Pitch Black is also one of my favorites, but you can only get it in Canada right now, or as a slurpee at certain gas stations.
I just watched game grumps mnt dew rank a few days ago, yt recommended this so I had to see. Also I can no longer drink mnt dew anymore so it's kinda fun to see others complete my preteen goal of trying every flavor.
Happy to see where Major Melon went, it's the only flavor other than the original that's available in Woolworths (a major Australian supermarket chain and the only one I've seen that even has a different MD flavor)
They still make Amp, when they created it was MT Dew Amp, later became Amp and sales declined. Harder to find, but still out there and not quite as good as it was on launch but still better than most energy drinks to include any Mountain Dew Energy pop.
