Ranking every Tomb Raider trailer!! 

In regards to “Lara” blowing up her mansion in the TRU trailer, I was on TRF at the time and it was QUITE a shocking trailer. Everyone was very confused on 1. Why Lara would blow up her house and 2. Woah why is she dressed like that? People DID kind of pick up on how she was dressed and that her hair is more red there so everyone kinda knew something was a lil off but that night was so much fun waiting for the trailer to air. It aired on Spike tv of all places, and there was a countdown for it, it was a lot of fun. EDIT: GOD the TRU Launch trailer is so legendary!!!!!! The song choice. The imagery. EVERYTHING. The TV Spot one with all of the scenes feeding into each other. Still one of my favorites of all time. We have yet to have a better trailer. 😭

Great video idea! And the best tailer won! Ah, okay, it wasn't a competition... but it's still the winner :D As for the Underworld teaser trailer, the speculations were wild, and so much fun! People were examining every frame, looking through the debris etc. As for who blew up the house, I remember a theory that it was Lara wearing the Wraith Stone (complete with her image enhanced in photoshop to show that the shadow under her neck is actually the Stone) and that she's being controlled by it :D But there were other theories, I suppose they still exist on TRF (if you dare go there) somewhere in the old threads.

I remember the day I went into Game with my Mum to buy TR Anniversary and that CGI trailer playing on the TV screen they had in there.😍

Anniversary is totally the best. Lara's CGI model is so beautiful there 😍Also I can't even remember how many times I watched the trailer for Shadow of the Tomb Raider when it came out. It was so good. Great atmosphere, those transitions and the whole rhythm! ❤ About Underworld, even though I was 11 back then, I still remember the gaming magazine headlines referring to the manor being blown up by Lara. I was so freaking curious why the hell did she do that?! Imo, the doppelganger character had so much more potential. They didn't give her enough screen time to slay enough as she should.

Tomb Raider 2013 was my first Tomb Raider experience, before that I'd only played bits and pieces of Anniversary.

Jay, they have put Lara’s cheetah print nightmare in vegas outfit in the game now and it’s playable on the level not just for photo mode.. probably already know but im just saying 😊

This was such a fun idea for a video! The first trailer I remember seeing on TV was a chopped up trailer for Legend and I remember seeing promo for that game everywhere, it was an ERA. In regards to the Underworld announcment trailer, I remember actually thinking it was Lara blowing up the manor but I don't think I looked into it any further?? I was probably like "omg she's sooo crazy" and left it at that, like there was no in-depth media analysis coming from 10 y/o me 💀

They will never top the underworld trailer. No other game will either, it was spectacular.

Ill never get over the underworld trailer. It was SO FUCKING GOOD. I just love Lara Croft even the reboot, but man they were COOKING with that underworld announcement

I remember when the shadow of the tomb, raider trailer first time I saw it was at the avengers infinity war premiere, and I think I got more hyped over that trailer than I did infinity war lol but was quickly brought to my senses

I actually really liked the Tomb Raider Reboot trilogy and Legend trilogy (Legend, Anniversary and Underworld). I bet my opinion is "WRONG LIKE HOW COULD I" but man, I had fun. 😂
