There have been 13 PPV'S this year, some have beena amazing and other have just been plain terrible. In this video I did a tier list ranking every PPV this year from S - D tier. Let me know your thoughts on the ppv's this year.
UFC 295 at A is crazy, that card was so entertaining, even had my baby diego lopes getting a first round knockout, main card all ended by KO, prelims and early prelims were very entertaining, how is that not S.
In my opinion, ufc 290 was the best card of the year. Only 2 decisions in the prelims, 3/5 fights on the main card being finishes as well, and the absolute war between Moreno and Pantoja and Hooker v Turner.. I truly believe this was the best card of the year.
283 was never supposed to be Jiri vs Glover, the main event was supposed to be Moreno vs Figgy I believe. 282 was supposed to be Jiri vs Glover, Glover vs Hill got made after Jan vs Mogomed was a draw
Idk, I remember I enjoyed UFC 288. 291 I didn't even watch live and I don't regret it. 294 was kinda weak because of the short notices and no contest. 296 I put to D tier, fighters not delivering except Emmet, and even he only beated a short notice Mitchell who looked like he hadn't been into gym once since his last fight.
UFC 290 & UFC 295 is likely the best cards of the year. That I agree. UFC 284 is a high A tier almost S tier. It would've been S if Volk got the decision.
Sure the prelims were great but the main card other than Emmett and Mitchell was very underwhelming if we’re just going off main card bottom 2-3 of this year
I agree with most of the list except for UFC 296 sure they were hyped up matches but they didn’t come to fruition I’d put it bottom of C probably my 2nd or 3rd least favourite card of the year
I was showing an ex girlfriend UFC one night so she could try to understand the hype and coincidentally it was 290🤣 great first impression to say the least
286 and 293 definitely wasn’t better than 283. Also the original 283 main event was supposed to be Brandon figgy 4, jiri and glover rematch was supposed to be for 282. the ppv in Brazil got revived massively with the new main event including hill. Main event was great. The 4th fight between the flyweights was great, the Johnny walker ko, the Gregory Rodrigues KO, Bonfim flying knee KO, Gilbert choked out magny. Great PPV Only thing really was the piss break for Murphy vs Andrade
Jones / Gane had solid prelims but I don't remember the main card being anything special, and the main event was basically an insult that made me turn on gane completely, I've legit made it my mission to never watch him fight again if you think I'm being harsh watch his fight against Francis back, dudes was given two of the biggest fights in the modern era and did nothing with it, heck losing in impressive fashion would of been enough but he didn't even do that ....
UFC 288 at D tier is wild to me. While it wasn’t a crazy fight that ended in a finish, Aljo vs Cejudo was probably one of the best, most technical main events that went to a decision this year. It was competitive enough to be entertaining even though Aljo was clearly winning, if that made sense. Belal vs Burns was kind of whatever but we actually got to see Belal striking with Burns instead of the wrestling smother game so it’s more interesting than the usual Belal fights Xiaonan KOing Andrade like that in the first was unexpected but wild Kron Gracie though….
