Batting 1. Yoshi (very op, guarantees single + rbi) 2. Peach (potentially op + even better than yoshi, but can countered by female characters which the power has no effect) 3. Junior Bowser (potentially op if your opponent has no flying characters) 4. Daisy (potentially op if your opponent has no flying characters - doesn’t give as much time to run as junior bowsers) 5. Donkey Kong (Not that good but guarantees a single) 6./7. Waluigi/Diddy Tie (Their star power could be good and give a double or if caught or gotten fast leads to a double play against your team) 8./9./10./11. Mario/Luigi/Bowser/Wario Tie (all very bad, can be countered by clicking B and dashing into the ball which gives a free out) 12. Birdo (Possibly the biggest waste of a star power ever, ball never makes it past the infield and happens so fast that it gives runners no time to advance. Besides that the egg appears so far in front of the ball, the egg can be avoided and the ball can be caught without even having to dive for it)
Mario Stadium is my favorite because it has no gimmicks what so ever. It just fells very natural to play. And the night version looks like a reality baseball field at night. Both day and nigh versions on Mario Stadium are very solid courses to play.
While ya placed it perfectly, ya didn’t even mention the worst part about Luigi Stadium! Can hardly see the ball’s shadow during changeups, making the offscreen changeup pitches totally broken
Daisy cruiser is one of my favorite maps, I play a lot with beginners and they like that they can easily hit dingers! I don't think the blooper gimmick is that intrusive either
Bowser Jr.’s was always my favorite. As a kid I just loved everything about it, and while I can see why it’s objectively not #1, it will always be top of the list in my heart.
1. Wario City, great music, love the gimmick, and I just like Wario in general. 2. Daisy Cruiser Gooper Blooper that is the only reason it’s two. 3. Mario Stadium, no gimmick nice.
I think it’s because I just like hitting bombs, but Wario City has always been my favorite. Very good list though, I roughly agree with all of it. Especially the bottom 3
This game was the bomb back in the day, I played on Yoshi's Park and Mario Stadium the most with my brother and my cousin. Man, I gotta revisit this game.
Been a while since i played this game but my brother and I played this and the gamecube version a ton. But anyways, here's my ranking Daisy Cruiser - I honestly just don't like the gimmicks on this stadium that much and it's the most boring to me out of all of them. The idea is super cool that it's playing on a cruise ship but that's about it. and Idk why but the orange gets tiring to look at. Peach Ice Garden - Basically the same reasons as mentioned. I love the music here tho. I believe I'm alright with this one during daytime a ton tho. Bowser Jr. Playroom - I think this one is just very intrusive on the player. There's ton of obstacles to look out for in the outfield and power hitters get gimped a ton. But it's still not terrible Yoshi Park - I think this one just ends up feeling a little boring sometimes. Idk it's gimmicks don't excite me as much and maybe feel a bit uninspired and the plants grabbing the ball always seemed to take forever. Luigi Mansion - The aesthetic here is amazing! I mean, it's so cool. Do wish there was a daytime one but I think they couldn't think of a gimmick for it/didn't feel it fit the tone of it. I will say the gimmick here can be super annoying but sometimes it just don't matter. Wario City - Agree with what was said in the video pretty much DK Jungle - I feel this one is a little intrusive with it's gimmick but not to the level of the others. Love the gamecube version tho lol Bowser Castle - Basically what's said in the video Mario Stadium - The atmosphere is just amazing here. I love the green in the daytime one and i love the lighting for the nighttime one. The stadiums in sluggers annoy me more than the GC version (despite having more variance) so this one always feels fresh to not have to worry about anything except for well placed or timed items. The biggest thing is that it's consistent while the others don't feel that way.

I have not owned this game in a long time but i will say this when you said daisy cruiser was one of the worst songs in the game well if i see you in real life you owe me a drop kick that's some terrible music taste otherwise great list 😆 P.s. im just having fun no ill will directed at you lol
Totally! Besides Daisy Cruiser and Peach Ice Garden, all of the fields really are amazing in their own way (and even those two can still be a blast to play!). I really adore Luigi's Mansion and Yoshi Park - it's just hard to rank all the amazing stadiums in this game :) -Jake
Do a tier list that focuses on each individual character stat. One stat per video and tier list. That would be cool. E.G Pitchers, Chemistry, Fielders and Batters etc
Wow this list was extremely different from mine but that's ok, differing opinions are good. Mine would be: 9. Bowser Jr's Playroom- The visuals in this one make me want to vomit and I'm not a fan of the music, not a stadium I'd ever choose for a game. 8. Bowser's Castle- Just kinda boring in my opinion. It's just a generic Bowser themed area and those are everywhere in the Mario universe, we don't need more. 7. DK Jungle- First field I actually like, however I exclusively play the night version of it because the day version is visually unappealing to me. 6. Daisy Cruiser- The gimmick is really stupid but also really fun and it really does hit the cruise ship vibe it's going for here, the music is unimpressive though. 5. Mario Stadium- A perfect non-gimmick field, the music is pretty good and it is very visually pleasing at day or night. 4. Wario City- I love the theme here and the music and gimmick are pretty good as well. 3. Peach's Ice Garden- This field is beautiful, especially at night and the music is really great. I also really like the gimmick and all the madness that ensues because of it. 2. Yoshi Park- By far the field I played on the most as a kid and continue to play on quite a lot. The whole park is really representative of Yoshi himself in that it's fun, cute, but also kinda tricky as represented in the music and the gimmick which is something I really like. 1. Luigi's Mansion- I love everything about this stage. The lighting and atmosphere really make it feel spooky and the unfair gimmicks at play are reminiscent of the tricks the ghosts in Luigi's Mansion the actual game would play on you. This is a perfect representation of Luigi's Mansion in every way and that's why it's number 1, also the music is great I just couldn't find anywhere to work that in.
My stadium list is 9 mario stadium 8 bowers castle 7 peach ice garden 6 dk jungle 5 yoshi Park 4 Wario city 3 bower Jr playroom 2 Luigi mansion 1 daisy cruiser but don't get me wrong all the stadiums are great
maybe a mario kart themed stadium considering it is so popular and could be a selling point of the game. have kart racers jump over head in the outfield and your ball can bounce off of it similar to king bomb omb in the bowsers castle map. if that’s not gimmicky enough they could drop bananas and green shells down as well
@@MarioSluggersFanclub More like one of the only 3 good-decent tracks in that underwhelming MK. (I really don't like Daisy or Double Dash if you can't tell, many of the tracks that either get brought back or are famous in the game are boring.)
You can dive with a or 2 depending on your control scheme. If you’re talking about buddy strikes, that’s either b or 1 and 2 at the same time. (Special dives use the same buttons as normal dives)
I prefer Mario Stadium since I like to play stages with no gimmicks in the way, regardless of what game it is. It allows the game's gimmicks and mechanics to shine more since you don't also have to juggle extra gimmicks and mechanics from the stage.
Wario City has the best music, and it's not even close. Overall, a respectable list. A friend of mine once told me Daisy's Cruiser was the best one, and I went home. That's just crazy talk.
Great list! Although I'd put DK in 4th and Luigis Mansion at 3rd. Also imo I find DKs music more generic and bland than Daisy Cruiser. Her's is not the worst and I'd say its Top 5.
DK is my personal fave the music alone makes it top 3. The size is perfect and I think the gimmicks are fair. Totally agree with this ranking. Ice garden is total luck more than half the time
