Hey everyone! Sorry for the long, gushy (and now outdated - I only filmed this a few days ago!) intro but for 10k subs I had to say something. If you want to skip straight to the list, the timestamp is 3:19. Enjoy, and let me know your favourite characters in the comments!
900 years of being sealed, he would regain his pulse; after another 90, he would regain his intellect; and after 4 more years, he would reboot his channel and absorb the power of 10k subs.
My Top 10, anything above the top 3 is always changing though. 10. Stark: Oddly Relatable 9. Komamura: One of the best character arcs in the series 8. Rukia: Got me into Bleach 7. Yoruichi: Should've used the cat form more 6. White Ichigo/Zangetsu: Raw fun 5. Mayuri: Cool fights and best speech 4. Nemu: Best girl 3.Kenpachi: Most raw fun 2. Byakuya: Best design 1. Urahara: Most charismatic 0. Chad: The goat who Kubo didn't want to showcase for fear that people would forget about every other character
Chad got shafted hard by Kubo. He and Uryu are two of my favorite characters, and they get to do so little it's sad to me. I got super excited when Chad/Orihime were tag-teaming Tsukushima and actually appearing to get him on the back foot, but then the mind rape and that was it. :/
"White Ichigo" could have been used more for sure. Seems like a bit of wasted potential. Chad had potential for really cool powers. Some of the coolest in the show. He did get shafted hard, indeed. Imagine him with upgraded fullbring. Maybe covering his whole body in that same type of design his arms get. Some spawn-like stuff maybe.
Personally my favorites are basically a 3 way tie between Aizen, Shunsui, and Urahara Also really liked Shinji and was disappointed with how he was used in the last arc
"It surprises me that people only like the characters bcuz of their design" -TITE KUBO. Thats true bcuz Characters in Bleach have DEPTH to them a Meaning unique to them. Even the most unexpected characters have it in Bleach thanks to KUBO.
mine is: 10- Yamamoto 9- Rose 8- Soi-Fon 7- Mayuri 6- Ulquiorra 5- Retsu 4- Shunsui 3- Gin 2- Yoruichi 1- Byakuya, easily the best and of my all time favs.
My top 10 1. Urahara(the smartest) 2. Uryuu(smart, always fight a stronger opponents than him etc. Mayuri, Szayel, Yammy and Hashwalth) 3. Byakuya(best design and cool character) 3. Aizen(unstoppable, super strong, best hair and interesting character) 4. Mayuri(interesting character) 5. Shinji(interesting character) 6. Kenpachi(his confident in fight) 7. Starkk(great personality) 8. Rukia(cute and funny) 9. Ichigo(best powerup, my favorite powerup is Dangai Ichigo) 10. Yoruichi(best girl)
Ichigo is my favorite of BLEACH. And might actually be my favorite character in fiction. His arcs and character is just *SO* strong. He is a real ass person. He works to keep up an image for other people to perceive him, like a real fucking teenager would, he even says so after Kon possesses his body in the first few chapters. Ichigo's goal of protecting people no matter what is demonstrating in every single action he takes, and it is handled so DAMN WELL, hell the man FIGHTS better when he can protect someone, Ginjo comments on that aspect when training him in Gameworld. He's just a character I love so goddamn much. I like Ikkaku quite a lot in BLEACH, and is 2. His Bankai is the coolest looking one in BLEACH fight me, and his personality is just so much fun to behold. As well as his fighting style and his oath to not use his bankai unless absolutely necessary because he must have *fun* fighting is just so damn cool. Urahara is 3. And you know why. Chad. OR Yasutora Sado. Because he is fucking CHAD. 4 5. Isshin. He is just such a cool ass motherfucker. And was willing to hide his entire life and heritage just to give Ichigo a normal life. That is so goddamn admirable. Kenpachi. 6. I like him for some of the same reasons I like Ikkaku. Him being so balls powerful that he holds back for 95% of the series is just balls badass. And he has a killer design in every damn arc. Byakuya. 7. His design has always been so damn solid, and got even better in the second half of BLEACH. His Bankai is badass, and his character doesn't just magically change because Ichigo fought him. He realized his mistake, but still doesn't like Ichigo, and he *still* plays HARD by the rules. That's awesome. Shinji. 8. This motherfucker, THIS MOTHERFUCKER. He has got the MOST swagger out of everybody in the cast (fite me). And I just fucking love him for that, his zanpakuto is so interesting and has an amazing design. He's sick. 9. Josh Groban. He has got plans for his plans, and those plans plan for his plans' plans. He is an utter badass. All hail Lord Groban. 10. Uryu Ishida. He is literally Asian ghost Batman. What's not to friggan LOVE?
that's what makes Ichigo so interesting as a protagonist, his lack of optimism was such a breath of fresh air for me. Majority of shonen protagonist trait will always have this almost out of this world level kind of optimism while Ichigo is just a normal guy(well personality wise lmao), someone who is just a casual anime watcher or manga reader will never understand how complex this guy is, his final fight with Grimmjow summarizes his character so well. I love how Kubo was able to summarized him by action not with words
Favorite Character List: 1. Kenpachi- my favorite kind of anime character/ only way to find joy is by fighting someone strong. 2. Gin- I hope a light novel is done on him. So much left unsaid 3. Aizen- carries the story for a long time and is a great villain to me. 4. Urahara- great compliment to Aizen and Myuri 5. Ichigo- not a traditional shonen main character but he actually acts his age compared to other Shonen main characters 6. Noitora- great fight with Kenpachi, I think his despair was with in himself and he just took it out on others which made him different 7. Byakuya- great design , good fights and like is character arc 8.Myuri- scientists character and a cool one at that . And his Bankai is greatness 9. Shunsui- well fleshed our character 10. Askin- self-awareness is @ 100% death dealing was great too
I like Goku, but I wouldn’t really care for him if it wasn’t for Dragon Ball. He was really fleshed out as a person during that series. Vegeta is my favorite Dragon ball Z character
Favorite Characters in a random order 1. Gin 2. Harribel 3. Soi Fon 4. Nelliel 5. Bambietta 6. Candice 7. Byakuya 8. Yamamoto (Would love to be a character in Bleach with my zanpato being called Raijin, & always trying to sneak attack head captain Yamaguchi & having sparing matches with him he'd be like an uncle to my character) 9. Starrk 10. Mashiro 11. Lisa 12. Kenpachi 13. Rangiku 👏🏿 Anyone on that list thats dead or not seen needs a senzu bean & 1 person can rest in peace. 😏 Byakuya.
Kisuke is my favorite character, the dark and the light elements of his character and his undying loyalty to the soul society even tho everything that he is been through. Although as yourself and tekking101 have said we wish that we could have seen more of his bankai and the capabilities of it, should be epic given kisuke intelligence and willingness to defend the world no matter the cost.
@@alexkirk5879 Yeah absolutely entertaining and Fascinating.. love that duo. The mystery of Yoruichi's Zanpakuto is always something that plays on my mind.. maybe it is also not very stealthy 🤷♂️
1. Rōjūrō Ōtōribashi (Rose) 2. Shinji Hirako 3. Byakuya Kuchiki 4. Uruyu Ishida 5. Szayelaporro Granz 6. Mayuri Kurotsuchi 7. Ryuken Ishida 8. Shūkurō Tsukishima 9. Yumichika Ayasegawa 10. Bazz B Rose is my favorite character due to his personality, Design and Zanpakuto. I remember when the visoreds joined the fight against Aizen and went into their hollow forms... I was just in love with Roses hollow mask... 😅
Mine goes : 1.Aizen(everything) 2.Ichigo(LITERALLY JUST VASTO LORDE FORM) 3.Byakuya (coolest zanpakuto imo) 4.Shinji(his character design, ability and personality) 5.Grimjow (cool asf, favorite Espada) 6.Yamamoto(pure hype whenever he fights) 7..Shunsui(cool zanpakuto #2 and lazy-ish demeanor) 8.Tsukishima(he has always got everyone's back throughout the series) 9.Toshiro(adult form was fir-I mean ice(?)) 10.Ulqiorra(his 2nd resurrection and the spear was amazing) Least favorite character : 1.Orhime(KUROSAKI-KUNNNNN!!!)
*1. Kisuke Urahara*: Let's be fair, we all like watching Kisuke troll his enemies and think 3 steps ahead of them. *2. Sosuke Aizen*: I have to admit, It is always amusing to watch him. *3. Coyote Starkk & Lilynette Gingerbuck*: Of the Espada, Starkk had to be my favorite. And I his Los Lobos is just purely amusing. *4. Matsuri & Fujimaru Kudo*: While Game Characters, I enjoyed playing as them in the Bleach 3rd Phantom, and their story in-game. *5. Askin Nakk Le Vaar favorite *6. Tia Harribel*: Her battle with Toshiro was interesting- if cut short by Aizen. I really also like her synergy with her Fracción. *7.Byakuya Kuchiki*: While bit stoic, he tends to have real good fights. *8. Arturo Plateado*: Yes, Arturo was a Video Game Arrancar. But, I still liked that one. Shame we never saw his Fénix in action. *9. Ichigo*: Just had to be on the list, he had usually quite interesting battles! *10. Gin Ichimaru*: Another character I liked; he was usually always fun to watch whenever he was on field. Extra: Roka Parameia, Cyan Tsung-Sun, Nelliel tu Odelshwach
I fell off with Bleach early on so I think my top 10 list will reflect that but here goes. 10. Yumichika Ayasegawa 9. Coyote Starrk 8. Uryu Ishida 7. Yasutora Sado 6. Byakuya Kuchiki 5. Shuhei Hisagi 4. Rukia Kuchiki 3. Kisuke Urahara 2. Shunsui Kyoraku 1. Jushiro Ukitake Ukitake has always been my favourite, not even sure why, he just hits that point, I really love him. His response to everything in Soul Society throughout the series is just the best. His care for Rukia and his lieutenants, his standing up to Byakuya and even the head captain with Kyoraku. They're both really cool.
My top 10: 10. Kenpachi Zaraki - Many people have him at top five, but he isn't up there for me. He's honestly a one dimensional character. That said... I love his fights. 9. Rukia - What made me love her was her progression during the TYBW. What an elegant and severely OP Bankai (yes, I'm aware it damages her body, too). 8. Ikkaku - He's the one character in Bleach that makes me laugh out loud. He can never just casually say, "Bankai." It's "BANKAIIIIIIUUUUUUUHHHHH" 7. Shunsui - What a fascinating character. Super powerful, but never likes to actually display it. He's so low on my list mainly because he did my boy Starrk dirty. Hahaha. 6. Grimmjow - He's such a fun character. I love him. 5. Byakuya Kuchiki - A friend of mine that died a few years ago loved this character.I see why. He was truly a first display of power when Captains were introduced. 4. Mayuri Kurosutchi - He's a fascinating character. Like, he's a terrible person. That said, his mindset and his redemption (I guess) are amazing. One of the most fascinating characters to exist. 3. Coyote Starrk - He was always the most compelling of the Espada. His aspect of death is real. Not to mention I love his character as a concept.Kubo really underutilized Starrk 2. Kisuke Urahara - I mean you went into in your analysis video. He's such a complex character with his humorous side, though with a more dubious and genius side to him as well. 1. Sajin Komamura - He's been my favorite since I've first watched Bleach with the introduction of his Bankai. Kokujo Tengen Myo-oh is severely underutilized. I have criticisms of Kubo on that front. And I love Sajin for being so honorable and loyal. He was the first one to jump into the fray when Aizen revealed his plan, after all. And do a character analysis on Sajin, please! I want to see what you have to say.
Congrats on 10k! Been watching you since the Everything But the Rain mini arc! My top 10: 1. Shunsui Kyōraku 2. Mayuri Kurotsuchi 3. Kisuke Urahara 4. Askin Nakk Le Vaar 5. Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto 6. Sajin Komamura 7. Yoruichi Shihōin 8. Byakuya Kuchiki 9. Coyote Starrk 10. Rukia Kuchiki
I just Love Aizens Nietzsche esque philosophy, basically wanting to make the world a better place by destroying outdated and inefficient systems, helping all beings to evolve and surpass their limits, but eventually descending into a god complex, becoming the very thing he despises most, therefor the Hogyoku rejecting him, followed by one of the best villain/ antagonist speeches of all time. Holy shit, one of the best written characters in all of fiction, at least in my opinion. And the bonus: Doesn’t have the overused tragic backstory trope.
Congratulations on the 10K! My top 10 has been has been ready for like ever lol and here it is. 1. Rukia Kuchiki 2. Momo Hinamori 3. Shuhei Hisagi 4. Retsu Unohana 5. Shinji Hirako 6. Kensei Muguruma 7. Tier Harriebel 8. Toshiro Hitsugaya 9. Senjumaru Shutara 10. Rangiku Matsumoto
My list. 1)rukia 2)ichigo (favorite mc of all time) 3)shinsui kyoraku 4)yoruichi 5)kenpachi 6)grimjow 7)nel 8)askin 9)senjumaru (i love her for no reason, she's just one hell of a woman and she looks magnificent, she's my waifu despite being ranked lower) 10)shuhei/matsumoto (a tie) Honorable mentions. -yuha -harribel -byakuya -urahara -unohana Underrated characters to me -komamura -tres bestias -stark -nnoitora
When Byakuya gave his "final words" to Ichigo asking him to protect soul society, reminded me of when Vegeta was dying & asked Goku to defeat Frieza on Namek. Both emotional moments. Amazing !!
I don’t really have an order for favorites since they fluctuate through the list every now and then but my top ten usually stay in the top ten. 1- Renji. His relationships with Rukia, Ichigo and Byakuya as well as his drive to better himself make him stand out. 2- Rukia. She is best girl. Also the fact that she came so far from the beginning of bleach to the end is really nice to see. 3- sajin. I really like that he was always one of the most steadfast characters in terms of beliefs and ideals. And his end was fitting given his background. 4- Gin. I don’t really like the slimy evil archetype of character like Orochimaru but the fact that you could kinda see his true color whenever Rangiku is on screen always made me like him. I think his death was one of the best in all of bleach. 5- Kensei. I really like his whole tough guy demeanor offset by how much he cares about his comrades. I also really like his bankai. And even if it’s why he lost against mask de masculine, I like that due to his pride in being a captain, he won’t hollowfy. 6- Kaname- his character arc is probably one of the saddest. He worked so hard for so long to hold onto his belief and anger at the soul society but by the end he realizes his mistakes. 7- Ikkaku. I like him because he’s like a little mini Kenny. Also his loyalty to Kenny by not revealing his bankai and wanting to fight and die as his subordinate. 8- Juushiro. The fact that he acts like a dad to his squad make him one of my favorites. He also has a darker more serious side that we see in the lost agent arc that is kinda surprising. I really like his release command for his shikai and it’s a damn shame we never saw his bankai. 9- Shunsui. Honestly he probably one of the best character to have the double personality in any anime. Always jovial and lackadaisical on the regular but probably he darkest character making the hardest decisions during the Blood war. 10- old man Yama. I love everything about him. His power, his demeanor, his design, his control over his subordinates.
Just found your channel and as a "born again" Bleach fan I gotta say I am really impressed with your content! Keep up the great work man. It's awesome to see this kind of calm, level-headed content on AniTube.
Mine would be. 1. Soi Fon & Yoruichi (couldn't decide) 2. Harribel 3. Starrk & Lilynette 4. Rukia 5. Yamamoto 6. Urahara 7. Grimjow 8. Shunsui 9. Shuhei 10. Toshiro Most of my love of these characters comes from the different versions in Bleach Brave Souls, my favourite unit is cacao Soi Fon.
OMG yes!!!! I love Ichigo as the protagonist I get tired of characters who are so serious and emo/ a** holes or the strong-headed kind of dumb guy. Ichigo is a person he has ups, downs and is just doing his best not looking for trouble.
My favorite character list is 100% 1. Kisuke Urahara - since he's such a badass and smart fella 2. Byakuya Kichuki - he speaks for him self 3. Grimmjow - because he's such a fun character and his reckless fighting and fighting style reminds me so much of Hidan and he's my favorite Naruto character 4. Kenny - because He's just so much brute force and his character development is pretty great as well and his rivalry with Ichigo is just, amazing 5. Rukia - She's just cute and a cold and funny character, 100% best girl in the show 6. Uryu Ishida - He's the coolest Quincy out there and his fight with Mayuri was amazing his powers are so cool and he has Sasuke's voice actor, the jp version that is. 7. Gin - Because he's such a sly fox and so mysterious, i love it. 8. Aizen - He's the strongest antagonist ever and he's a deceiving guy which i love a lot 9. Yoruichi - Second best girl and well yes, cat form 10. Yamamoto - he's a badass old man and i have soft spot for those Honorable mention Harribel - She's 100% the most badass female character in the show even though Rukia is still here but yes, take it or leave it lol
Here’s my list interchangeable depending on what they’re doing 10: grimmjow: evil version of My favorite character 9: Shinji hirako: scary badass 8: Rukia: there from the beginning 7: Ulquiorra really cool design 6: coyote stark: coolest gun Wielder in bleach and best resurrection 5: Ichigo Kurosaki: just a pretty cool dude 4: Kenpachi Zaraki: I mean it’s Kenpachi y’all come on 3: byakuya kuichki: I’m a huge fan of like really stoic characters in anime 2: uryu ishida: A really cool and smart character 1: Renji Abarai: best Shikai( I don’t mean the strongest it’s just my favorite) and I feel like he’s kinda like a cooler Ichigo really wish he did more Honorable mentions: souske aizen: got boring after the hogyoku but before that was definitely in my top 10 Yuroichi: waifu Urahara: cooler aizen in my opinion Soi fon: second waifu
I like it when people talk about who their favorite characters are rather just a blatant "best" character rants. It shows what they perspectives and takes they have from a series rich with character motives and personality. My personal list is going to be long but i want to justify as much as i can. 1: Aizen; Someone with overwhelming charisma and personal motives, it a shame we didn't get to delve too much into his mindset but whatever Kubo has shown through text or panels gives us a basis on his personality and gives a certain perspective on what an an overwhelming villian should have. 2: Gin; Another complex character with hidden motives and personality but he's the definition of a character that is portrayed through "Show not Tell" We follow his actions and base his mindset based on those actions. His strength comes from his conviction that is hidden from us and that makes him intriguing to me. Bleach is a story where strength is derived from one's own understanding and belief in one's self. Someone who is as seemingly empty as gin holds a plethora of emotions he holds to himself; like a character that has all the burden of the world on his shoulders but doesnt complain because he still has a mission to accomplish. 3: Ichigo (Zangetsu - White & Black); Possibly the most misunderstood character in bleach; or even in Shonen in general. He is also possibly the most complex character in bleach, and his stoic nature can make him misunderstood as bland or generic. He's a character is always in internal turmoil, be it is contradictory nature as a frankenstein of races, or his internal struggle to find stability in his soul. He is a character that is constantly battling between his destructive nature and his personal beliefs to protect the things around him, and matures everytime he faces these internal struggles. He doesn't progress like a normal character where they develop through struggles and gains power. Ichigo has a question he asks everytime he fights, and finds an answer for himself at the end of his battles. He doesn't fight to win, but fight to find an answer, and grows as a person after every fight. I also put both Zangetsu's with Ichigo because they are an extension of his internal turmoil- White as his destructive and instinctive nature, and Black for his caring and thoughtful mindset. 4: Ulquiorra; A character who is equally complete and yet empty. He is a mirror of ichigo, someone who has a complete understanding of himself but is not yet aware of the things he lacks. He suffers from the fact that he subconsciously knows the errors his mindset, but is aware of his true self and reassures his own strengths and beliefs. He wants to change, but cannot because he can't deny who he has become and the things he has come to believe. I find this personal conflict intriguing because his strength comes from his understanding of those beliefs, but ultimately falls because of this. 5: Byakuya; A fan-favorite mostly because he's cool and elegant. But i believe his best aspects are more deeper than what the surface shows. He is a character with overwhelming compassion and generosity, but has to mask this because of his position as clan head. His personal conflict lies in between his duty and personal beliefs. He spares Ichigo in the beginning because he did not wish to hurt Rukia- he wanted to save her during the SS arc but could not because he has already sacrificed too much of his obligation for the clan. Somewhere along the line he wished Ichigo could save her, but Ichigo's convictions conflicted with his own and grew resentment because it reminded him of his own personal turmoil. 6: Kenpachi; Like most characters in the story, Kenpachi mirrors an aspect of Ichigo. Predominately he is the epitome of destructive instinct; but it also shows that Kenpachi isn't simply a cold-blooded killer either. He fights for the pure thrill of battle, and death is merely an aspect of that; not the ultimatum. A person's true potential can only be unlocked through the battle to the death, but that doesn't necessarily means that death is the answer. It's a meaning he found very early against his battle with Unohana; that death itself is something to be feared- not for himself but others as well. This kind of perspective is clouded because he seems like a meathead but he's very methodical and rational in that aspect. He's not interesting simply because he is strong, but he is interesting because he's strong from of his rationality and perspective towards fighting. 7: Mayuri & Kisuke; I'd put Shunsui here too, but i think these two embody more clearly the same kind of philosophy. That the means justify the end. It's not as simple as "Oh it's okay to be immoral if it works!" but more of a batman kind of approach. They both put their own morality, perspectives, and motives into question to identify what's needed to keep everyone happy, all the while supplementing their unquenching desire to invent and progress as an individual. Kisuke follows the more methodical and rational approach, while Mayuri follows a ruthless and chaotic approach. These two follow in tandem towards the most extreme of the ideal that the means will justify the end, and that perfection and stagnation are limitations. 8: Renji & Rukia; These two embody the idea that personal struggles MUST be overcome with the people around you, and by yourself. I think what most people miss out is that these two have always had the potential to obtain bankai, but has always been held back because of the weaknesses in their mindsets. Renji's strength comes from fighting for something, but when he lost his relationship with Rukia, he did not have a reason to become strong anymore, and simply fought for his own sake. Likewise, Rukia could not become strong because she was always under the shadow of someone else (i.e Kaien, Byakuya, Ichigo) and did not find a reason to fight for herself. It wasn't until Renji threw away his pride and fought for Rukia he obtained bankai, and Rukia found the resolve to fight her own battles that she became stronger. Although i personally shipped Ichigo with Rukia back when it was still airing, i understand now why Kubo paired them together now. They are both two parts of one whole, and Ichigo was the catalyst that matured their weaknesses into strengths. 9: Chad; Personally i think he's the coolest character, from his design, his powers, and the idea that he made nothing into something formidable. It's just a shame he was kind of under utilized because i think Chad's personal growth is one of the coolest when it comes to side-characters in Shonen. 10: Ywatch & Ginjo; I'd probably write a whole essay if i had to explain these two in-depth, but to put it simply they both are the absolute worst (as in evil) aspects of ichigo and shonen protagonists. They are the embodiment of self-induced Justice and Pity. Where righteousness turns into corruption and destruction, and empathy becomes criticism and cynicism. They are ichigo without rationale, and without anything left to protect. In the end you could say Ichigo saved Ywatch and Ginjo, not because he passed judgement onto their guilt and sins, but because his answer showed that without protecting, and hope- Justice is just another form of Evil.
My top 10 10.Gin-Damn why do he have to die? 9. Mayuri-The mad scientist 8. Byakuya-Really Versatile 7. Genriyusai-Respect man 6. Shinji-He needs more exposure man really like him 5. Aizen-Best villain 4. Ichigo-cool protagonist I like how he cried when he has nothing to do against Tsukishima. It just feels that after all he have done for the world this random guy fuck his life upside down. 3. Kenpachi-Beast 2.Uruhara kisuke-Big Brain 1. Kyoraku shunsui-His way of thinking as a captain/Commander is just really great. Waifus should be on another list
Having Aizen as your favorite character was part of Aizen's plan XD My top 10 favorite Bleach characters are: 1. Kenpachi Zaraki 2. Ichimaru Gin 3. Urahara Kisuke 4. Kurosaki Ichigo 5. Sousuke Aizen 6. Grimmjow 7. Coyote Starrk 8. Shunsui Kyoraku 9. Nel/Yoruichi Shihouin (a woman has to be here!) 10. Ulquiorra Honorable mentions: Abarai Renji, Bazz-B, Gremmy, Komamura Sajin, Mizuiro XD
My top 10 could be a bit controvertial, but here goes anyway: 10) Unohana: I lost my shit when she revealed that she was the first Kenpachi and just kept killing and reviving Kenpachi, like... dude... TO FUCKING KENPACHI. 9) Matsumoto Rangiku: Not gonna lie, is because she is the most beautiful waifu to me. But I feel she had a lot of wasted potential... like girl, you can turn your blade into ashes and cut with them, and also you're connected with the biggest plot twist in the manga (Gin) your potential is HUGE. 8) Pernida: you can't get more creative than that, I love weird characters because they can surprise me in a way that regular characters can't. Also his fight with Mayuri is one of the best. 7) Aizen: Great, introducción, great plot twist, great carisma, but Kubo kinda dropped the ball with him with all that "I planned even your birth" 6) Tousen: His de-evolution was great, starting as a man devoted to justice that ironically became more blinded with the progression of the plot. That "Komamura... you're even more ugly that I imagined" it hurts every time I watch it. 5) Komamura: His arc with Tousen was great and the revelation of his appareance was also great, ripping hus own heart for the chance to beat an Sternritter, he literally gave his heart for the soul society and ended up in a tragic way. 4) Ulquirra: At first thoght it was your standart emo cool guy, but when you understand that he's literally nihilism that's when you get that his design, personallity and relationtship with Orihime to prove her that a soul doesn't exist and life is meaningless mates perfect sense. 3) Shinji Hirako: Awesome backstory with all the Vizards, sick powers, this is Kubo at his most creative and he's just overrall at lot of fun. 2) Ichimaru Gin: one of the biggest plot twist in anime ever, he really push his trickster persona not only with his "betray" but also with things like the effects of his Bandai, wish he was more fleshed out. 1) Kurotsuchi Mayuri: great design, really creative fights and abilities that keep pushing to the limits (see how many things he did with his zanpakuto), that speech about perfection was marvelous, anyway a lot of things.
Unohana and the bald dude who wrote the zanpukto names with a brush. Something about those chapters were so drawn out so beautifully, so I loved the characters
My list. 1)rukia 2)ichigo 3)shinsui 4)yoruichi 5)kenpachi 6)grimjow 7)nel 8)askin 9)senjumaru (i love her for no reason, she's just one hell of a woman and she looks magnificent, she's my waifu despite being ranked lower) 10)shuhei/matsumoto
I recently got into bleach and your channel is helping me understand more of it as I can’t get the manga. But as I haven’t seen all of bleach I haven’t seen many characters, so I’ll only use characters I’ve met, which is where the anime ended. Male: 1)Grimmjow 2)Kenpachi 3)Shunsui 4)Hisagi 5)tsukishima Female: 1)Nelliel 2)Yoruichi 3)Rukia 4)Apache 5)Riruka
@Rosemirror The look of genuine horror and pain on Ichigo's face when he realizes how much Tsukishima has taken from him is one of, if not my favourite scenes in the series it's a perfect example of "Show don't tell" story telling.
My top ten as of now, although it does change somewhat frequently: (Honourable mentions to: Candice, Yhwach, Bazz-B and Ichibe) 10 - Starrk 9 - Szayelaporro 8 - Yamamoto 7 - Grimmjow 6 - Halibel 5 - Shunsui 4 - Aizen 3 - Hitsugaya 2 - Kenpachi 1 - Yoruichi
i feel liked bazz b should have survived, he really didnt seem all that evil, and felt like the grimmjow of the arc, i also think askin should have survived cause he also didnt seem all that bad like he was just going along for the ride kind of like how stark was. heck i wish we knew what happened to stark since his status is confirm unknown. like each of the 3 arc evil groups seemed like they had characters that could become allies in the future or switch sides. heck asking also felt a lot like stark as well since they both seemed more humble about their position of powers.
I've never really tried to make more than a top 5 list, but I suppose I can try and give this a go. Though my 6-10 probably won't be that accurate since I'm doing this quickly. 1. Grimmjow 2. Urahara 3. Ichigo 4. Neliel 5. Shunsui 6. Yoruichi (4 through 6 are all super close together, I just went with how I'm feeling currently) 7. Rukia 8. Stark 9. Aizen 10. Renji Honorable mentions: Shinji, Hisagi, Gin, Kenpachi, and Isshin I'm honestly waiting on the anime before I potentially rank any Sternritter (including Uryu), so that's why none of them show up here. I wanna see what changes get made to the arc.
1. Mayuri Kurotsuchi - no one entertains me more. 2. Shinji Hirako - never gets to shine as much as he should, but his personality and brief time as protagonist in the TBTP arc was such a nice change of tone. 3. Hachi - all the hugs to Hachi 3. Kaname Tousen - his fights were some of my favourites, and his character arc and relationship with Komamura was really touching. Also appreciated that he was a ‘disabled’ character treated as cool, dangerous, and didn’t define him. 4. Ulquiorra - best villain we’ve had, and a very moving character arc and death. I still miss him. 5. Kyoraku and Stark - tricky guys, I do like them.
Top Ten is very tough 10. Rangiku- good character interesting relationship with Gin, big boobs are possibly a factor just saying 9. Harribel-number 1 waifu of this series very strong and is underrated as she's not really villainous 8. Orihime- top tier waifu healer important side character who actually matters 7. Gin- same reasons you gave 6. Bayukuya- top tier design and he's got a lot of character development 5. My boi Urahara same reasons you gave always has a plan better version of Kakashi 4. Aizen- pure badass looks down on everyone seems to always know everything 3. Ichigo- some of the best forms/transformations in Shonen written well except during the final Arc(didn't win on his own) but Ywach is that OP 2. Ulquiorra- everything you said is perfectly how I feel about him 1. Kenpachi- OP even when tremendously holding back just walk-in big D*** energy testosterone loves to fight and is about the strongest in the series just cutting hollows in half always with sadistic glee the eye patch his sword and the fact he went through the majority of the story without a shiki and Bankai relying on his reiatsu alone.
sleepy • 16 years ago the fact that he is blind and he makes these cool noises when he fights idk i just like him and I would‘ve never expected him to work with Aizen when i watched the first 2 arcs
Been subbed since like 1.5k, congrats man. My top 10: 10. Shinji (most underused character in the series, love his design and personality), 9. Komamura (so so underrated), 8. Askin Nakk Le Vaar (the antagonist with easily the most personality imo), 7. Oetsu Nimaiya (one of the two only royal guards who weren’t a huge disappointment, he put in WORK and was pretty hilarious), 6. Rukia (could never get over how much I loved her during the beginning of the series + other great moments here and there), 5. Yamamoto (the goat), 4. Mayuri Kurotsuchi (couldn’t explain why I love him so much even if I tried), 3. Shunsui Kyoraku (basically every thing you said in the video is how I feel about him), 2. Byakuya (fantastic character arc, I even have a big Senbonzakura inspired tattoo on my left leg lmao), and 1. Kenpachi (pretty much my favorite ever since he was first introduced).
Congrats on almost 13k! And here’s my ( maybe little unusual) list: 1. Aizen Sousuke - best character in Bleach and my favourite anime and manga character ever. 2. Ishida Uryuu - I think he’s one of the most underrated characters in Bleach, but in fact he’s pretty strong (just mentioning his fight with Mayuri, Yammy or Szayel) 3. Szayel Apporo Granz - love this twisted freak🤣 4. Grimmjow - sexy, cocky kitty ( OK I admitt he’s my guilty pleasue). Too bad we couldn’t see more of him in the final arc:( 5. Komamura Sajin - another underrated character. I agree with everything you said. I’m happy someone noticed him as well 6. Tsukishima - I love characters who can destroy your mind with their abilities not only your body 7. Ukitake - my second favourite captain ( talking about underrated characters again;) 8. Ichigo Kurosaki - the best MC Bleach could ask for. Good job Kubo! 9. Unohana - bery scary lady. I knew from the start something was not quite all right with her:) 10. Ishida Ryuken - cold bastard but with ‚ Everything but the rain’ we knew he’s also a human Honorable mention: Don Kanoji!!!
My Top 10: Number 1 = Ichigo! The man himself! Number 2 = Rukia! Ichigo should have married her. Number 3 = Uryu Number 4 = Byakuya Number 5 = Aizen Number 6 = Yamammoto Number 7 = Urahara Number 8 = Kenpachi Number 9 = Renji Number 10 = Ulquiorra Honorable Mention = Yoruichi
1. Kisuke: call me basic for Kisuke but he is batman of bleach. But kisuke and kenpachi keep switching for number 1 in my head 2.Grimmjow: This man has always been in my top 3 since he came on screen, he's like kenpachi just weaker. 3.Byakuya: yes, yes, he should've died Kubo is a bad writer blah blah blah. This man is probably one of the most well written characters I've seen. 4. Aizen: MMM yes, I don't have to explain 5.Yamamoto: Pure definition of badas 6.Askin Favorite quincy/sternritter 7.Ichigo: Found him a bit annoying at times but overall, he is one heck of a character 8.Rukia: My reasons are Rukia 9.Shinji: Other than being treated dirty his character is what interest me the most and he is the only character I know that doesn't look like a clown with that haircut. 10. Ichibei: I just felt like having my favorite squad 0 member on this list+ Him and oetsu were absolutely cold Okay and for Juha he would be up there with Aizen if he didn't absorb the soul king. After that his character died. Him and Aizen are exactly what I look for in villains' mysteriousness Intimidating Scary. But we didnt see anything from Juha after he absorbed soul king People may call Juha a coward, but I don't see how he basically did the same thing Aizen did just in a more annoying way.
-Rukia, Kisuke, Ichigo, Stark, Shinsui, Kenpachi, Yuro ichi (not sure how it is spelled), Uliquora,Unohana , Gin. I know I butchered the spelling, but too lazy to check. Btw, these are not in any particular order.
Congrats on 10k my boy you deserve it. My top 10: 1 Komamura 2 Yoruichi 3 Nanao 4 Candice 5 Barragan 6 Grimmjow 7 Yamamoto 8 Yachiru Unohana ( Her back story OMG) 9 Chad 10 Shunsui
Mine is : 1. Urahara : he is the type of guy who is 5 steps above anyone else. 2. Aizen : he is the man with the keikaku. He keeps on being the guy who outsmarts almost everyone but deep down, he is lonely. 3. Kyoraku : he is wise and he is even willing to his dignity away by cooperating with the enemy for the sake of the seireitei. 4. Kenpachi : his fights are entertaining and in the final arc, he actually showed that he care about someone. ( Unohana) 5. Toshiro : he is a prodigy, despite he is quite calm about some situations, you can really feel his rage especially when he stabbed Momo. 6. Stark : he is quite relatable and he isn't even evil. 7. Shinji : he is really powerful and he feels like a dangerous man. 8. Komamura : he is a knight in shining armor. 9. Ichigo : he is a guy that really just wanna protect others and even though his friends lie to him, he doesn't care about it because he knows they're good people. 10. Bazz-B : he just wanna avenge his town and be with Jugo again :(
07:30 the Beast Realm isn't in the Soul Society. It's in the human world, or to be specific the realm animals exist on, separated from the human world not by space but by state of mind. Kubo uses the Kanji 畜生道 (Chikushōdō) aka the Tiryagyoni domain from Buddhist cosmology.
My favorite character is Aizen. No doubt. But I will say, I have another character, whom I for some reason love with a passion. And that is Izuru Kira. He has always just been a high point for me, everytime he was on screen. From his design, to his ideology, he has always been facinating. I especially love how his Zanpaktou works, and how it embodies his, and his squards, ideology perfectly. His Zanpaktou looks unique, and it's power is absolutely deadly when used correct. It makes the enemy heavier, and in a way makes them bow to him, giving up their fight. He sees fighting and killing as unneccesary, and by making the enemies bow in defeat, he perfectly lives up to his beliefs. But that doesn't mean he can't kill. The scene, where he decapitates that bird Arrancar gave me goosebumbs the first time I saw it. He's great with kido, sword fighting, and he just always seems to be ready to do what is needed of him, be it healing or fighting. He doesn't just focus on one thing and keeps doing it until it works, like forexample Ikkaku, and I really love that It's sad to me, how he doesn't do much more in TYBW, but the things he does there is just so amazing too. He is an often overlooked and very underrated character, and he is indeed one of my very favorites in the entire series. Plus, he constantly looks like he is just done with everyone's shit, and I can relate
My great problem with Juhabach is that his ability is too broken. Being literally Almighty should make you invincible. The moment an enemy even came close to you, you would simply erase him from reality. If you have a weakness, you can cancel it. In Aizen's case, his power was really strong but it had some clear flaws: Kyoka Suigetsu had a weakness (touching the sword) and a requirement to activate its ability and, while Aizen was an incredibly powerful villain, defeating him seemed possible. By reflecting on it, you could come up with a strategy to defeat him ( as Gin did ). Before Almighty was revealed, Juhabach appeared as an incredible foe, the Quincy King that could fight toe to toe with Yamamoto. That was already enough to make him an incredible villain. Yamamoto was basically unstoppable and Juhabach defeated without a Vollstading and stole his Bankai. That's already an amazing set up for a villain: the Quincy King with the Shinigami "King"'s Bankai.
I'd love to have seen an honorable mention for Tatsuki, the scene where she asks Ichigo where Orihime went gets me every time. Also, Ichigo vanishes for a couple of weeks, comes back months older, picks Aizen up by his face, flies away towards the mountain range which then starts exploding and disintegrating. Has to be a very weird series of events from Tatsuki's point of view.
10. Ikakku (setting his ego aside to fight for his captain was a big cool moment also the fact he didnt want people to know his bankai because it would seperate him from fighting alongside Zaraki made him 10x cooler) 9. Yoruichi (had the best illustrated fights in the manga, loved every angel 😻) 8. Shunsui ( that lazy cool character aesthetic) 7.Unohana ( most underplayed character, she would of kicked some squad zero butt thats for sure) 6. Grimjow ( reminds me alot of Vegeta for some reason, cool character design and development) 5. Starrk (would of been my favorite espada if he didnt go out the way he did) 4. Ulquiorra ( man this guy describes my whole existence what can I say..) 3. Ichigo (real humble character throughout the story, really great kid, loved his development) 2. Zaraki (my spirit animal.. literally) 1. Uruhara (character I found most similar to me if I was in bleach I would be in his shop “testing” herbs and remedies)
I'd say mine are: 1. Ulquiorra 2. Grimmjow 3. Hisagi 4/5/6. Barragan/Hallibel/Staark (Can never decide with these three) 7. Aizen 8. Ukitake 9/10. Byakuya and Kenpachi (Again can't decide with these two) HM: Kensei, Unohana, and As Nodt (The latter two and other sternritters could be higher once the new anime comes out)
It takes time to upload and most RU-vidrs schedule their vid a day or so later so it releases at a time people will see it. The odds he just recorded and got 1500 more subs in the hour or so it takes to upload is about 0%
1. Ichigo Kurosaki (We have too many things in common). 2. Lord Aizen (The goat) 3. Urahara Kisuke 4. Byakuya (I apologize, Captain Lord Kuchiki) 5. Shunsui Kyoraku 6. Stark 7. Gin Ichimaru 8. Tosen Kaname (Always liked him, but CFYOW novel adds to the character) 9. Unohana Retsu & Kenpachi Zaraki 10. Jushiro Ukitake Honorable mentions: 11. Ishida/Rukia 12. Sado Yasutora 13. Inoue Orihime
