I would say: 1: In Rainbows 2: Ok Computer 3: Kid A 4: A Moon Shaped Pool 5: Hail to the Thief 6: Amnesiac 7: The Bends 8: The King of Limbs 9: Pablo Honey
I love your radiohead videos! It’s so refreshing to watch two people who have clearly listened to a great amount of Radiohead talk about the subject. Although I have to side with Vasilis on this ranking… My order would probably be: 1) In Rainbows 2) A Moon Shaped Pool 3) The Bends 4) Kid A 5) OK Computer 6) Hail To The Thief 7) Amnesiac 8) The King Of Limbs 9) Pablo Honey
My list: 1. The Bends, Ok Computer, Kid A, HTTF, In rainbows 2.Amnesiac, TKOL, AMSP 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. album with a baby inside a flower that rhymes with pablo bunny
I will forever defend The King of Limbs. Absolute banger album. One of the many things I hate about the Radiohead fandom is how everyone collectively bashes on it.
Unfortunately it’s an album of two halves so everyone will always say one half is crap while the other bangs and it won’t get good marks overall :( what half do you prefer?
Mine would be: 1. In Rainbows 2. Hail To The Thief 3. Ok Computer 4. Kid A 5. The Bends 6. Amnesiac 7. A Moon Shaped Pool 8. The King of Limbs 9. Pablo Honey But the top 3 changes everytime, it's impossible to choose between those three
My list: 1. In Rainbows 2. OK COMPUTER 3. A Moon Shaped Pool 4. KID A 5. The Bends 6. The King Of Limbs 7. Amnesiac 8. Hail to the thief 9. Pablo Honey
Wow. Your opinions are so wrong. I can't believe people have a different taste than me 😔 (the objectively good taste). When I am king you will be first against the wall 😤
Berk has just the wierdest placements! (spoilers!) TKoL over AMSP and HTTT and Amnesiac above the entirety of their discography is just wild to me. This must be one of the most anti-RYM video of all time
But seriously, I think I value their experimentation and evil vibes over their most emotionally charged material, especially to listen to regularly, so I’ll always prefer first half of TKoL to the second, and Amnesiac to more ‘standard jams’ like AMSP or In Rainbows. They’re both so underrated!
Great vid! Never thought of basing a list on how often I'd listen to the album. With that in mind, I'd go 1. HTTT, 2. Amnesiac, 3. Kid A, 4. OKC, 5 In Rainbows, 6. The Bends, 7. AMSP, 8. Every B-Side and Side 2 there is, 9, King of Limbs, 10. A lot of other music, 11. Ambient torture noise, 12. Pablo Honey.
Hurt me when bro said MPS is a weak link its second only to HTDC Also Amnesiac for me is literally a masterpiece barely behind Kid A and OK Computer. It just has this vibe to it when listened in its entirety of a depression thats gone on too long, that really hits home.
I may have over-defended it in hindsight :D OK Computer & Kid A have the cultural impact and I think OKC is probably better overall but I think if Amnesiac had been released before Kid A then it would have the shock factor going for it instead, and I do think song-for-song it's stronger than Kid A - people assume that it's 'the leftovers' from Kid A even though the band explicitly said they just picked songs that fit together rather than just picking the best songs, so I think that impacts opinion as well
@@arbitersofsound if it dropped before Kid A is actually a good point. Def a different story. I personally don’t appreciate the whole amnesiac being a “left over songs” off Kid A. It’s still an incredible album altogether. For me it was a mesmerising experience to listen to Kid A and the impact it had especially dropping after Ok Computer, so maybe that’s why I hold it in a very high regard.
A moon shaped pool hits hard if you have had real loss in your life. The first album that I have really sat down and listened too. It just really crushes my heart.
@@arbitersofsound I can see that. I had a shitty job and had to compute a lot to it in lots of snow, was so glad to get a new Radiohead album to keep me company... And it was the King of Limbs. It's still full of bad vibes for me. Though it got a lot better after the live from the basement version.
If I consider a top 1 album based on whether I like the greatest number of songs it has, I would choose AMSP. But if you have to choose based on the number of masterpiece songs, then I would choose In rainbows
Interesting you both agreed on most of the list but when disagreed, you were far from each other (In Rainbows, Amnesiac) I'm exactly on the same page with Vasilis, maybe I'll bump Amnesiac above TKOL. I'm just glad you both highly regard HTTT, and rightly so. It is a 10/10 Album.
I love how you guys are not afraid to say The Bends is not a good Radiohead album. Whenever I watch a video like this it's always "so tough choice between the bends and ok computer", and it's not even close compared to all later Radiohead albums
Not a tough choice at all! 😆 Although maybe some older fans have a stronger attachment to 90s radiohead. We kinda entered the game in the early 2000s so I guess we're kinda biased that way.
