I'm happy you added Zoisite and Fisheye on top. Despite western society being traditionalist back in the 90s, Zoisite was a male in most dubs because his relationship with Kunzite was considered a brotherly love. That stood true to Zoisite in the comics. Fisheye got it worse. During the 90s, he didn't fare well to traditionalist societies because he was known to be an effeminate creeper due to the fact that he wore girly clothing, took pride in his feminine appearance, and attracted boys. This was why he was changed to a woman in most dubs. For Fisheye, he got a female voice because many countries back in the day had a traditionalist mindset. This means that they all transvestite or gay men were changed to tomboy characters just because many western parents assumed that kids would be creeped out of girly men or would be a bad influence to them.
wasn't Zoi and his boyfriend technically bi in comics since the scouts and Endymion's 4 guards, that Beryl corrupted to be her generals, were an item and were basically dating whenever Usagi's Princess incarnation and Endymion were courting(and the reboot anime expanded on it letting the gemstones they turned into after dying still able to awaken the Scouts memories of lost love and Darian able to communicate with his four knights for help)
Zoisite is literally one of my favorite anime characters, I love him so much and his relationship with Kunzite is surprisingly sweet and wholesome despite them being Villains. Also where's Fiore from the Sailor Moon R movie? The dude literally SIMPED for Mamoru
Sailor Moon is America's most controversial anime because it first appeared at a time when parents were led by lies in terms of what they were led to believe about gays, video games, and cartoons. That's why many things weird outside of Japan had to get watered down because parents were concerned that all of that weird content from Japan would be an evil influence or cause nightmares to young innocent children. The lies of the past aren't fooling me anymore. I'd knew Zoisite and Fisheye were never intended to be female and I am happy they remained male for the Viz Media English dub.
Interesting list. A couple of points: Fiore was absolutely gay for Mamoru and should've been on the list! Demande's obsession with Usagi was pretty gross, but Saphir's genuine love for his brother was heartwarming. He got done dirty. Also Petz apparantly loved him. He at least appreciated her efforts, unlike virtually every other villain. Galaxia does mostly exude Boss energy, but at the very end of the series there is some major red/blue lesbian vibes between her and Usagi. She certainly at least has more of a personality/preference than Wiseman or Phaoroh 90.

Queen Beryl, Queen Nehelenia, and Galaxia are very beautiful and sexy and polished in manga/Crystal anime. All tho Queen Nehelenia at the end gets ugly since she made mirror parasite Zirconia and Zirconia is merged into her when Eternal Sailor Moon kills Nehelenia in manga/Crystal Eternal movie, but otherwise Nehelenia is beautiful and sexy villain in manga and Crystal Eternal. And Nehelenia gets really ugly in 90s anime when she becomes old hag and Zirconia comes out of her that was also creepy when Zirconia came out of Nehelenia to strangle Super Sailor Moon in 90s anime. And Queen Beryl also gets ugly at the end when she gets defeated by sword in manga/Crystal and withers away. Mistress 9 beautiful too but she has disgusting scenes when she takes over Hotarus body in manga/Crystal. And Black Lady is also beautiful lets not sexualize her since she is Chibi Usa all tho she is 900 years old she is still child when she is manipulated into evil.
I watched Sailor moon in german, and they made Zoisite as female. Which i feel it was perf role. Koan (German Kermesite) She was one of my favorite villans, i loved her hairstyle, very nice touch. Esmeraude, ANNOYING. Full On Diva mode, like they made her so annoying, in both german and Jap. Lets be real with Kaorinite, she was horny for Prof Tomoe 24/7 Fish-eye(also female in german dub), liked her characteristic and she helped save Sailor Moon with Tiger eye(Blonde preety boy) and Hawk Eye(pink spiky hair) Those three were my favorites.

Thank you for the Nephrite slandering, bc I am SO over ppl hating on Zoisite for getting him killed when his storyline is literally him being in love with a middle schooler. Zoisite is the real hero of their storyline.
Yoh, this was brilliant. You earned a new subscriber! One point I'd like to add: Don't know if you're familiar with the Japanese dub but Tiger's Eye, Hawk's Eye and JunJun were using a language style (and pronouns) that were pretty much coded as anything other than straight😅
boo i think u mixed up nephrite and black lady tbh. like dont get me wrong it wouldve been weird if nephrite got into a relationship with a teenage girl instead of dying but you can kinda tell he was written by a fantasizing young woman? black lady is a child who was made to try and seduce her own father, which just feels like something freud wouldve liked :\
I agree that nephrite's grossness came from a place of a young woman's fantasy, wheras black lady's deliberate portrayal as a more "seductive" type of lady really has no place anywhere. But nevertheless, that grossness didn't come from her own choices, and this ranking isn't based on any of that, it's based off of how gay I think they are. thanks for watching!
Iconic villain Queens of Sailor Moon: Queen Beryl brainwashed by Queen Metalica beautiful, Queen Nehelenia is beautiful when she is not old hag and merged with Zirconia and Empress Galaxia also beautiful all 3 of them slayed. Queen Nehelenia predated, predicted and started Metalica’s career by puting curse on Moon kingdom, then Queen Metalica after some years brainwashed Beryl and ppl of Earth to invade Moon kingdom fulfilling Queen Nehelenia’s curse and Empress Galaxia wanted to become Empress of our galaxy.
Just a side note chibiusa is not a child she might look like one but she is over 900 years old so her age up was just a physical aging cause usagi had her at around 22 and she made the normal life span 1000 years when she became queen.
Yeah it's kindof a weird case because it's a child-coded character being aged up to look like she should. She is still kinda weird though because she clearly wants her dad.
I love fisheye, he has to be my favorite villain because of hes/her personality. Though could someone tell me if fisheye is a boy or a girl? I mean, they could be a boy just dressing up as a girl but I just can't tell.
@@Sluppie I don't consider him a tomboy character. He was treated that way in the earlier English dubs of Sailor Moon because Americans didn't want Sailor Moon to be too addicting to children just because it had homosexual characters.
