Honestly she’s become one of my favourite makeup youtubers because of this. Even my favourite youtubers i don’t want a big ramble on every video, I don’t watch vlogs that often for that reason 😅
Its a funny thing with the hydro grip spray. I havent seen any reviews for it either. I want to get it but I never buy anything without watching at least 3 reviews. Like whoa. I like to think it is good since the primer is a holy grail.
@@deelight6503 I bought the mini to use with the primer & I use it mainly as like fix plus just to melt my makeup together and THEN I go in with the Charlotte tilbury to set…works great that way
I absolutely love...I mean LOOOOOVE this series!! You did a thing with this one, sis! I consult these now as my beauty encyclopedia, and I don't have oily skin (I'm actually normal with dry patches). Keep these coming!!!!!
I've been told it's not really a proper "setting spray" because it doesn't have the polymers that help to hold your makeup together, so I guess you're right on the money.
It’s not actually a setting spray. It’s supposed to break up powdery makeup or when you have too many product on your face. It’s great when you got a cake face to make it more wearable
Charlotte Tilbury spray is that gurl! She smells expensive, summer friendly and mask approved. I just started another new bottle. Mac fix+ is definitely multifunctional.
I need a video like this with your foundation collection / opinions!!!!! Yours is one of the only ones I trust on RU-vid! And your base always looks flawless 😍
The Morphe Continuous Spray is the only product, besides brushes, that I have purchased over and over. No other setting spray I had used before it melded my makeup together like that. Then I found the Glow Recipe Watermelon Mist, and I Love it! I have backups of it and put it in my daughter’s Christmas Beauty box. I have purchased the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray but, have not had a opportunity to wear it. Hopefully soon I will be able to go some place that calls for a look.
I tried the Charlotte Tillbury in the Mini Size and once I used it, I threw out all of my other Sprays and immediately bought a Full Size of it. I won't use anything else - I hope CT _never_ discontinues it.
the anastasia dewy set is good for dry skin. imo, it’s more glowy than straight up wet and it doesn’t smudge your makeup, so i def recommend for dry/combination skin type girlies going for the dewy look
I’m going to have to save this for my next setting spray. I’m still learning how to use setting spray properly… I’ll be back for the products in the description
Let me go put this Charlotte Tillbury in my cart 😩😫. I have tried all of the others and my favorite are the NYX and UD deslick, I too am an oily girl. Lord I picked up an extra shift so I can checkout my sephora cart 😩🤣🤣
This is definitely by faves of all of the series so far. I live for Mac fix plus and urban decay deslick and even the nyx one was amazing when I had it. It was my staple before I got any other ones. I am oily skin just like you so I am feeling the you can’t sit with us category here. Honorable mentions of course they are still fairly new is the fenty beauty and the new spray by mented, I love those. Also the quote on quote urban decay all nighter knock off by maybelline is awesome and much better than all nighter itself and at a great price. I loved the video overall! 👏🏾
I feel like Urban Decay is either you love it or leave it. I, personally, love it. The amount that i have in back stock is embarrassing lol. Deslick is a must have for oily peeps though! MAC Fix+ I feel like it doesn’t really set things that well, but it’s an amazing in between layers spray. Morphe has the continuous mist going for it. But you end up using so much of it (and it’s really not that much product in the canister) that it’s not worth the “savings” on its lower price. Also, the product itself though, I despise. I do not get the hype around it. It doesn’t set, it makes you shiny and sticky, just the worst.
the abh setting spray sounds like the pixi glow mist. it gives you sooo much glow. i used that on my no makeup makeup days and just skip highlighter. it's THAT glowy.
Mighta just sold me on the Charlotte Tillbury. I've tried most of these and I still don't particularly love anything... lemme go ahead and add to my cart lol
I love makeup product reviews 🧡🧡 Love this idea for makeup setting spray because I sweat 😓 a lot even in the winter (thanks to genetics 🧬) and I have combination skin Can you do a drugstore version please?
Don't sleep on the Milani Make It Last and the Gerod Cosmetics and the Beauty Bakerie Sweet Grace...and the Cinema Secrets...the Bridal Setting Spray (wayne goss favorite) ...and Ben Nye Final Seal
I gotta say, you're one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen! Even though I'm not interested in makeup, I just had to watch. And besides being gorgeous, your well spoken and interesting to listen to! I really enjoyed this video!
I know it's not a best seller but Cover FX dewy set in the blue bottle has been my easy reach the last year. It's harder to find since they took it out of Sephora but I can pick it up at Ulta. It's one of my faves
No matter the setting spray, if the nozzle spritzers dots or is too strong like a garden hose, it will always be a “no” for me. I agree with almost all of your rankings.💚💚💚💚💚💚 * I just put a new bottle of Mac fix plus on my tray for when I don’t want to think about what spray to use - it never fails.😁
Thank you for saying de slick is way better than all nighter. I honestly thought i was crazy when it came out better in my makeup application than the all nighter. That one made me look greasy!
I'm definitely trying the CT setting spray after this video and the comments co-signing her. But as an oil slick of a human, the KVD setting spray works great for me. My T-zone still needs to be checked on from time to time but the rest of the face is solid.
I really want to try the Lancome, and Coverfx, and Patrick Ta setting spray. I love a good spray for all purposes setting spray, skin care, and dew. The CT works.. Period!! I've tried the Urban Decay never purchased it. It feels like hair spray and has to much alcohol. It does work.. But No thank you. I also really like the Hour Glass and Caudalie, Too Face, and Morphe spray!! The ABH spray is ok it definitely provides the dew.. MAC fix plus is a classic!! I have two unopened products that I can't wait to try by Huda Beauty ( non matte) and Tatcha. For skin care love the Caudalie and Fresh!!
I have yet to try Fix+ 🤷🏾♀️🙈 BUT! I didn't start wearing makeup until 2015 (November, 21st bday). Despite wearing make up for such a short time I've tried so many things, for some reason fix plus just wasn't one of them. The only setting spray that I really liked was the NYX matte spray...but I have dry skin so it was not working for my *skin* I plan on trying to Charlotte Tilbury tho Thank you for this video! I've tried so many setting spray's and didn't like any of them.
I have nyx and OMG y’all when I tell you I have greasy chicken bag oily skin I ain’t lying. I use mine doing the Jackie Aina method setting my primer. And fenty beauty foundation and setting powder my skin looks amazing throughout the day. If I do need to blot, I don’t need any retouches. Oh
Mac fix plus isn't a setting spray though. If anything, it's used to help makeup look less cakey (i.e: one put on too much powder) or not as matte. I know they had a matte spray, but that leaves white dots
The only one I haven’t tried in the you can’t sit with us is the de slick so I put that in my cart ASAP. I think everything was ranked accordingly. Definitely need to also check out the too faced because I haven’t tried that yet either.
Believe it or not, once upon a time, before setting sprays existed, we used hairspray to set our makeup. :/ I've never tried MAC Fix+ (I realized I had the name wrong b/c I've never used it and had to come back to fix it).
Second viewing. Looking for something to fill my mini fenty what it dew spray when it run out (people weren't playing when they were talking about the nozzle). Looking for a setting spray that helps with transferring. Might try the nyx one. I tried the de-slick and it was a'ight.
Gonna have to try the CT. I use the morphe spray pretty much for exactly what you said it’s good for, but I have pretty normal skin. I also like the milani make it last(the original one). I buy the mini Mac fix+ just to use with eyeshadow.
I was wondering if there would be any drugstore mentions. The Nyx matte spray is my favorite. The All nighter and fix plus do absolutely nothing for my oily skin.
I actually haven't tried mac fix + , I prefer the Avon setting spray to be honest and the UD all nighter. Holds better in my opinion. I usually don't go with the hype so nope never tried fix+
The kryolan ultra setting vaporiser will keep your face in PLACE. It’s a professional product I think so that’s probably why it’s not talked about much on RU-vid- Kevin luong recommended it on his Instagram page and I’ve been hooked ever since
Mac Matte Prep n Prime does the same thing….white dots😣😖😖😖 u should try that Smashbox with ur mask and see how it holds you well. But CH spray knew the assignment and executed it well
