My favorite jump scare of the franchise is, I believe during #3, when she walks in the kitchen and EVERYTHING falls from the ceiling!

Best to Worst 3 1 2 4 Marked Ones Ghost Dimensions 3 is on another level for me, it's easily the scariest.

I really love the scene in the paranormal activity 3 where the babysitter is in the kitchen and the sheet just does to the floor.

My favorite one is The Mark Ones! With the first one right behind it.

The Marked Ones is truly a gem! If it was a stand alone it would be more appreciated

P.A. #2 is my favorite of this series. The way they used home security cameras was done really well. I thought the basement scene was the scariest. That poor dog, tho. 😧

i was ready for you to slaughter me for having paranormal activity 4 so high up on my list but you really came in clutch lmao i think it hits the most nostalgia buttons for me out of all of them, which is why it's so near and dear to my heart

Before I even see this video, I have to proclaim my love for The Marked Ones. It’s Christopher Landon at his best in my opinion. That last few minutes is so crazy. I initially went into these movies for the scares, but stayed for the Katie/Kristie storyline. Ghost dimension is the only one I take any issue with :)

It's also worth mentioning that PA had three different endings, and definitely my favorite one is the one were police finds and shoots Katie. Idk, it just feels haunting and hurts considering that nothing that happened was her fault. But then we wouldn't have any other movies with that ending being canon.

Awh man #3 is my favourite! Something about little girls in horror movies. The only scene that’s ever scared me… that Nanna in the doorway argh

This is a cool idea, so many options for you to binge watch. Childs play, nightmare on elmstreet, the conjuring(or any films relaring to ed and lorraine warren really) halloween(especially since so many directors tried this one!), friday the 13th, exorsist......id totally be here for some oldies to see how they hold up today and compare with each other

Writing this before watching. I love the third one. The backstory was great and seeing it in the theaters on opening night with a packed crowd all screaming is still the best theater experience of my life!

I watched it for the first time huddled around a computer at midnight with 2 girls when i was in 8th grade. I ended up having a massive crush on one of them, but that was the last night i saw her, it broke my little 13 year old heart. Its was so nostalgic and its just such a good memory

Yeeeeah, I do agree with with Emma's ranking slightly more...but I will agree that just like how paranormal activity 2 was the first time you were scared in theaters, I felt the same way about the first paranormal activity. Also, love the collaboration by the way, keep it up!

Omg! PA2 is also my top fave of this franchise!! This was one of the very first horror movies I had seen (the other being the first one of course lol) and I love it so so much! I wish I was older and could have seen these in the theatres! (Sadly only got to see PA3 in theatres when a friends mom got us in since we were only in 7th grade😂😂). I’m interested but very nervous to see what they’re going to do with the reboot if they’re still doing it!

it’s been a while since i saw these films except the first which i rewatched recently and was kinda bored by hhhhH it rlly doesn’t age that well but i might give the other ones a try now. second one was my least favorite for a while but maybe that would change if i saw it again. the kitchen jump scare in that one is great though, i do admit. but even if i might not enjoy the series nowadays it’s always gonna have a special place in my heart bc it was the first horror franchise that i loved & watched as it came out haha. introduced me to found footage which is my favorite sub genre of horror now! hope u make more ranking videos like these it’s always fun to hear your opinion. gotta watch emma’s video now!

Paranormal Activity 3 was my first watch of the franchise, I remember seeing it when I was 13. And it scared the living hell out of me, I remember being scared all the time when being home alone, afraid of ghost hounting the house I lived in. Paranormal Activity 3 will always have a special place in my heart because of that xD.

My favorite PA film is actually Tokyo Night! i know it doesnt really follow the main storyline at all and its more like a paralel universe sequel, but it still terrifies me to this day. Just the combo of japanese horror and paranormal activity is scary to think about, LOL. I really recommend it if anyone hasnt watched it yet!

The 1st paranormal activity movie has a special place in my heart. It's not the 1st movie to ever scare me (that was the 6th Sense) but as a 17 year old this scared the living crap outta me! And it holds a special place in my heart!❤️

At first, the marked ones was my least favorite when I saw it in theaters but recently watching it I loved it and realized that it does a lot of things differently compared to the others

I love the movies, i personally love some of the reused scares because I feel it feels like you’re following Tobey and how he torments the family instead of watching people get haunted like a lot of movies

I saw the first one in theaters with my mom. I was honestly so sure that it was real, I fell for it, till the on screen death and I was like “ah yes, that’s illegal in the us, y’all got me!”

This is a hard one. I mean the last two were more in depth in its own universe. So I'm excited for this video 😁

Like most movies, they're all subjective. For me, PA #1 will always be the best one. I did see it in the theater, which was part of the experience, but this one literally stayed with me for at least 2 weeks. I have always been a huge fan of unseen horror as it allows your mind to run wild. The scene where Katie is standing in the hallway and her hair gets 'blown' is one of the most fear inducing thoughts. Every time I think of that scene I picture a gruesome, hulking demon standing right next to her with a sinister smile on it's face knowing just how scared it will make her by just blowing on her hair and she has no idea it's only inches from her face. Brrrrrr. It still gives me chills thinking about it. Again, the fact that the presence of the demon was always assumed and never shown was the best and most frightening aspect of the movie.

I watched the first movie at home for the first time and it's probably my favorite horror movie of all time. Can't stand the rest of the franchise though. Loved hearing you explain and take joy in what you like, though. Great stuff.

I just the first three films a few months ago on my laptop and personally my favorite is the 3rd film but it's not because of the 80s setting or that coven twist but its because it sums up the entire franchise as a whole. 1. Paranormal activity 3 2. Paranormal activity 1&2

theres a special spot in my film buff heart for this series and fully agree that 5 is a gem and definitely deserves to be a stand alone! for 2009 and the circumstances when it was made, I'll never forget how much of a staple it was in every young kid/teens mind whenever it was brought up and it was practically taboo in my house growing up. 1 and 2 are for sure my absolute favorites. definitely not everyones taste but its a timeless classic in my eyes LOL

I just got into this Franchise 2 months ago and I extremely love it, I never got to see it in theaters. I wish I can. But they are making a 7th. The series is so realistic and scary!
