If Naafiri's skin is supposed to be Blade Wolf , I don't get why they didn't turn Gangplank into Venom Snake. They literally both have prosthetic arms... such a missed opertunity.

Gangplank could’ve been SOOO much better, in the project universe there’s groups of outlaws and resistances who are supposedly put together with scrap metal and their own parts so why not make gangplank one of those, it would tie with his base lore of being Outcasted from Bilgewater where he got his rusty prosthetic arm. Make it so he put himself together in the project skin with rusted and corroded metals, sharp jagged and barely glowing so he looks A LOT more intimidating and like he’s out for revenge to overtake the city that he lost

There is just no way Riot decides to make Project Gangplank and on the very next patch release High noon skins. Gangplank would fit that skin line so fucking well, idk why they didn't do it yet

Riot pls, just make non human champs have the project skin. Project maokai being a mostly wire based for his root effects. Project Ornn, an "evil" machine that makes/upgrades the other projects. Etc.

I really wish that they went back to a “theme” for the PROJECT skinline like the older/initial releases i.e. OVERDRIVE, HUNTERS, and OUTSIDERS. And most of the characters actually fit the theme and now recently it just seems like they just choose champs from their ass that have nothing to do with each other and call it a day.

You said that Project Pyke is one of the only good ones, and I will quietly contest you on that. While its concept is wonderful and its voice over is lovely, I don't like the way it looks very much... Also I think most of the SFX are ear splitting. This has been your daily dose of a Pyke main complaining about one of his 5 legendary skins, you may now carry on with your day.

They could really make a game mode where a skinlines universe in focus just like the Old riot.. starguardian with their city.. and project skins in their universe.. doesn't need to be pbe.. could be like a rumble royale of projects champ

I do kind of like the Naafiri one, though i do wish they had gone with a different color. Shame that chromas dont really change particle effects, so even if you choose one of her better colors its still going to have her glowing red

The thing about Project skins nowadays is that it started as some Robocop shit, where humans were pretty much turned into cyborgs/androids and they had little to no human skin showing (only the mouth in many cases) but lately its just the champions in tec suits and thats it, Renekton WW and Mordekaiser were good ones cuz they were basically turned into machines..... Maybe it is time to make Pretorian comeback and be the main "Future" skinline with a dystopic hint.

Project Naafiri is a nice blend of Blade Wolf from Metal gear and Chainsaw Man.

Naafiri's skin is great in my opinion. That's the way they SHOULD be doing the Project skins, to further the idea of machinery and corporations corrupting "animals" and animal-adjacent things.

Not to mention more high noon skins now

I like the projects line if only because I like the idea that there's at least one skinline that has everyone in it

I'm so glad someone else has agreed that the naafiri skin is just 'okay' at best. It being basically the exact same shade of red really just annoyed me and made it seem rather dull to me. No hate to people that like it though I'm just glad I'm not the only one that felt like it's whatever.

I’m really sad that they didn’t go for horror or terminator aspect for naafiri. Would’ve been such a slam dunk, the recall is the best part because of the clawing at the ground and howling. Should’ve been a legendary terminator skin for her

I usually agree with you but the naafiri is an L ti me. The skin looks really good imo, both as a MGR referance and it just looks pretty clean for such a stale skinline.

I think Naafiri is exactly what I wanted personally. Jax is alright? Not fantastic but not horrible. And as a huge Gangplank player having to wait this long for such a borning skin feels terrible.

I really feel like Jax and Naafiri are actually badass! 8/10 for both imo.

Never was a big fan of Project either. Which says a lot for me, because outside of League I am a DIEHARD fan of anything with high tech/cyberpunk/LED lights aesthetics. I am really curious how a Project Seraphine skin would turn out now, though...

i dont have particular thoughts abt it that i dont already have abt project in general (too overdone and missed potential) but jax does have cat ears so i have to say its good even if he looks like vayne

Just make a cybernetic skeleton give him neo punk clothes and a cool pirate hoot and dont forget to make that iron fist fitting with it and boom you are all set

Someone at the design team must've been taking their frustrations out of GP, cause hot dam did they do him dirty. Clat arm with a mechanical jaw and you would've have a killer look for GP. Hell switch the toy lasergun for something that looks like a magnum to serve as the cherry on top. Like seriously a cyborg pirate has so much potential.

Finally an actual rapid fire skin review under 5 minutes.. it only took a patch with 3 skins

Can you pleeeeeease review all the others? I genuinely want to know your stance on all the project skins. Yes, overdone.. however there have to be some nuggets in there you like or think are horrid!

I think Pyke and Mord are definitely the best, and there are a lot of really weak ones, but I think there are enough right in the middle that make the skin line generally okay

I really like the Naafiri skin but the Jax and GP skins do look incredibly generic like Leona and many others but Naafiris is perfectly fine to me.

Project came back and it wasn't loaded with 10 boring filler skins and only 2 then high noon on pbe with yone grages eve and a NEW SHERIFF RELL SKIN WITH METAL HORSE,riot sure did learn some lessons when it comes to old thematic return

I never really vibed with the futuristic robot aesthetic. So I can't for the life of me figure out why these are still popular.

Naafiri is the only good and it's mostly because it's a walking MGR reference. Besides that... urgh... even weaker line up then last time... I still think they could try doing a Project Reksai in the same style of Warwich and Renekton though (with a human inside the 'suit')

The decadence in Project started the moment they thought "showing face" was cooler and better for that universe instead of the cool faceless helmets we had before. Seeing flesh on these skins makes the Project side feel less special and the you have nightmare fuel with something like Project Reknehuman. Gangplank looks more like a soldier with cyber armor

project skins, while they where mostly ADC's was good imo it was a good skinline while it was mostly an ADC skinline

I'm really curious as to his opinion on Project: Jhin cause I think it's one of the best Project skins and one of Jhin's best skins respectively

I actaully lreally like Projekt, but I think its dragged down by the less fotunate skins for the big bundle Releases. Project has some of my favourite skins and I rewlly like the simple Vision and execution on Naafiri (just make her blades "laser edged").
