RARE EMIRATES A380 TAKE OFF! 

I would normally skip till the actual departure but the commentators did a great job keeping me engaged throughout the whole process

It doesn't get any better than this....seeing an pass right in front of you ("Look at me and be amazed at how big I am")....to takeoff ("Watch me leave the runway and airport behind")....to going back home ("I soar up to the sky like an eagle"). It blows my mind and leaves me in awe every single time. Have a safe flight .

I was at LAX flying to Washington and I was lucky enough to see a A380 taxi from like 10 feet away truly incredible

My apartment is directly under DXB flight path at end of runway. Laying in the rooftop pool watching these (and 747s) take off overhead is quite the thrill...

Thanks for posting this, gentlemen, I believe I saw this plane yesterday afternoon it was traveling south along the coast heading towards San Pedro. It was a rare sight indeed.

we live in australia perth. every day a week 2 A380 planes come around. the airlines are an emirates\qatar airways. they are so awsome so cool that when i look at them. i feel my heart fill with joy

Just stumbled across your RU-vid channel. While an A380 taking off on the south side of LAX now a days is a rare occurance, it wasn't such a rare event back in 2016, when 24R and 24L were being reworked. While 24L was being reworked, A380 departures from 25L was almost a daily event. I have lots of still images taken from Imperial Hill of those taxi and departure events - British Airways, Korean, Emirates, Singapore, et al. Just an FYI, in aviation pilot-controller language, runways are called out as - Two Five Left/Right, not Twenty-five Left/Right, as you've called it.

Absolutely amazing such an ugly duckling but what an incredible aircraft, good to hear you guys refer to it as the ' King of The Sky ' such a shame that the 380 wasn't the commercial success it deserved but I'm certain they have a lot more years in service. Great vid

I remember, years ago, when the TV news said they would have a report of the first A380 Los Angeles landing on their 11:00 o'clock news. It was about 6 o'clock so I pulled up youtube and there was already about 10 videos posted.
