What i would call a cornerstone episode of my channel so far, is my experience at iit madras research park
the park has incubated more than 200 startups with valuation more than 1.5 billion andhosts several Corporate R&D units
the research park has 5 towers named A to E and a multilevel roof parking
here are 10 things to not miss out at the park if you get a chance to visit it, like i could, today
1. grand hall at Tower E
upon entering the oldest tower, E, you find a huge oval hall with rooms at ground at first levels
here is a huge amplhiteatre like training room
then meeting rooms named behind renowned world scientists
2. iit m research park symbol
walk out of tower E and turn left to find the research park emobosed on granite
take a selfie or a solo here and soak into the massive outdoor park
3. the incubation cell
climb up the elevator next to the incubation cell
visit the photo both "this is the new india" and pose beside our prime minister
peep into real-life products that have walked the talk, like a mobility solution for differently abled, or a sewer clog remover

surely ather, which was born here, and in 2023 alone sold more than a lakh electirc scooters

corporate professionals wouldve been touched by medibuudy, the healthcare provider
here comes the actual incubation cell, that bears its inaguaration plate
if you;re able to view inside, each cubicle belongs to a different incubating company hence designated in different color orange, yellow, green and so on
4. T junction on the skybridge
we're now on the skywalk we saw from below
walk with me up to a T junction connecting tower E with remaining 4 towers on the sky
breadth taking 360 view of the park from this elevation
you can see a small artifical water body below
on the higher floors is the hanging garden style of vegetation, which we will again cover as head closer
this is the expanse of iit campus' greenery you can watch from this end
5. Unique collaboration rooms
step into one of the corporate's research enviroments and have a look at the uniue informal and fun ambience to a meeting room
6. suspense corner
this may seem like a beautfiul greek or italian balcony with bogonvilla flowers
as i turn, dpp the walkway seems like dropping right below with no guard! no, there is a glass railing which i too didnt observe at first sight
towards is the NIFT hostel adjoining the park
we are now exatly at the floor of handing gardens, let's take a quick walk

7. innovation garage
see prototypes of some of the collest electric vehicle inventions from scooter, to auto.. to a hyper loop!

this is another invention for the differently abled from....
8. beautfiul park in the heart of the research center
the central seating area gives the feeling of a stongehenge ofcourse with vegetation cover.. peaceful and pleasant
9. industry academia bridge, both figuratively and literally.. you can actually drive on this bridge and land at the iit campus!
10 cafeteria
enjoy a wide spread of eateries with different menus, starting from cooking cloud, whose multi-dish vending machine was invented by this very research park, i am told
