Rare Replay Opening Number

They could have easily half-assed this and just released a compilation. Instead, they put effort into the release and their heart and soul into this awesome opening reminiscent of the 1990s. How charming. :-)

This a great collection for anyone who grew up on Rare games. I'm glad they got most of their N64 titles on here, which IMO are their very best work.

This is such a quality compliation. I have poured hours into this. I absolutely love it. I love hearing how the games were made in the clips and I love how fluid and well made the menus and everything are. It doesn't just feel like cheap emulation. It feels like a high quality collection celebration of their classic titles.

Now since both Microsoft and Nintendo are buddy buddy, I think Rare Replay should get an updated re-release for Nintendo Switch, Xbox X/S and Steam.

Man this is one of the best intros I've ever seen to a "game" in a while, I know it's a collection but still. Legitimately made me shed tears when the final verse came through. 30 years of giving the world beloved games. Congrats Rare, this is my first time playing any rare game and I can't wait! I just got this game and I love I can play conker and perfect dark again as well as play games I haven’t ever played again.

I personally like the "It's a Rare Replay but don't dismay if you've played through these games before,oh we guarantee there's more to see, a pass first class to featurettes galore." part because before Rare Replay came I had played through Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, Blast Corps. and Kameo Elements of Power before. I wonder who else likes the part i do.

Nice seasonal variation. Do you know what would make it even better? If Rare/Microsoft released an HD digital release of Conker Live and Reloaded for Rare Replay. It would also be nice to have it fixed to run perfectly, without any of the emulation errors that would occur when playing it on an Xbox 360, like the rainbow dust clouds, out of sync/muted sound clips, and random crashes.

Boy I remember when rare actually created new good games. Games that weren't being limited by microsoft. Thanks for destroying my childhood

In the 30 years of Rare, you will find their first 15 years were astonishing. The next 15 saw them turn from gold to crap. Still, get this game. You will wonder, 'Why the hell don't we get this in games now?'.

The song reminds me of the Animaniacs for some reason. Still quite good but I am more into the games themselves. Also while the game is called RARE Replay and that these are the 30 RARE games over the past 30 years, there are more games that RARE has made such as Donkey Kong Country series, GoldenEye, Diddy Kong Racing, Donkey Kong Country 64 and Dinosaur Planet that became StarFox Adventures. But due to Intellectual Property reasons because James Bond is owned by Activision while Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong and StarFox are owned by Nintendo, there is no choice other than to be lucky enough to own those games on their original systems or to emulate to play those games again. Also the Donkey Kong Country series used to be available on the Nintendo's Virtual Console but were taken off when the 10 year contract ended. At least that was from my knowledge. As a long time RARE fan who remembers the games from the SNES and N64 era, I am happy to see this collection of some of the best RARE games including the ones from back in the Ultimate Play the Game era that I would never have known about if not from the RETRO Gamer magazine. And considering I am getting older and can't get the recent consoles, I can happy to be able to view other people playing these classic RARE games on youtube. Some of the games I was happy to see included here are Conker's Bad Fur Day and Jet Force Gemini that were my fav games from RARE outside of their obvious ones that can't be in this collection due to reasons stated above. If only this collection of games had appeared back 5 years ago on the XBox 360 then I would have been able to buy it. Oh well.

Ok now this intro is full of that Rareware charm that we've all missed over the past decade. I honestly think they're starting to make a comeback!

This RARE collection strikes a happy MEDIUM between the ultra hard 2D classic and grand 3D adventures resulting in a very WELL DONE collection.

I am LATE to the Xbox One bandwagon, but I just got this today and honestly couldn't suss out the lyrics, but I got 'em now! It's a great song, as all the music in your games is simply wonderful! Take care Rare! You've always been one of my favorite developers. I need to look into Sea of Thieves at some point. That's your current big project, right? I don't do lots of multiplayer, but I could try sometime.

Some people don't like Kinect Sports... but its amazing. I play this every day, the 1 and Season Two, and the first game that I'm going to have when I buy a Xbox One will be the Kinect Sports Rivals. Thank you Rare, and congratulations from Brazil. :D

Just picked up an Xbox One with this game! Being a lifelong retro Nintendo fan, this is the one Xbox One game (Well, compilation.) I've always been jealous of. Stop 'N' Swop here I come!

you guys should make a 3DS and Switch edition of this (both versions would have the DK games Rare made, Star Fox Adventures and the opening number would have two additonal verses “Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong fight the Kremling Krew to get their bananas back while Star Fox will stop Andross from destroying the Lylat System” but the 3DS version will have all the Gameboy, Gameboy Color, GBA and Nintendo DS games Rare had also made)
