Probably the best commentary I've ever seen for a speed run. Both of these guys know the game very well, they're clear and informative, and they address any questions that viewers might have. Absolutely fantastic.
Having a person whose job is to ask questions the audience might have is an excellent idea. I feel like often these things are all in-jokes and nobody wants to ask anything in case someone thinks they don't already know.
when I got this game for PS2 after many years, the disc was scratched for the game’s last few cutscenes, hard locking my console. It was impossible to become giant clank. The only way to beat the game was to somehow get to Drek without transforming. It was this speed run that gave me the idea of clipping through the last barriers up to Drek by using the ghost glitch on a swingshot leading up to it. Incredibly frustrating but it’s one of my proudest gaming achievements. Woot woot speedrunning strats
i completed all the ratchet and clank games during my childhood a bazillion times, had the 20x multiplier on r&c3 and so much bolts the savefile only displayed it as "9.999.999" i thought i had discovered everything there was to discover in these games you have put me to shame

Ps3. The first three games are best to speedrun on ps3. It has graphical glitches though, like his eyelids and helmet are weird on the cutscenes... kind of ruins the immersion, theres no way they didnt notice that when they remastered the game.
They upload the raw cuts as soon as possible, and sometime after the event they cut them properly and add the cards at the start and end of every video, as well as tweaking the audio when necessary and adding descriptions. This is the edited version.
