Do you find it odd that the cleaning products have to be "safe for the planet...eco-friendly", and came wrapped in 8 feet of bubble wrap? Somehow I feel like Kris doesn't really give a crap about the planet. Just me? Ok.

Can you please 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽do a three month or so update on your, Our Place Always Pan? I have found it to be the worst pan I’ve ever tried to use. I was so excited to get this pan when it first came out. I even waited a bit longer, as lavender was always sold out. I found it worked no better, and actually worse than some other nonstick pans. For that matter even some of my regular pans. Most of the reviews I see are positive, so I thought maybe I just got a bad pan. However my son also bought one and has had the same experience. After a month everything sticks worse then any pan I own. We did our due diligence and read the little manual that comes with it. Using the little wash pad that comes with it… The only thing that we’ve managed to do on a constant basis, is burn ourselves. As we forget to grab the pot holder when grabbing the little handle. I really wanted to love this pan. I couldn’t give this pan away to anybody I know. They didn’t want it. So I donated it to Goodwill. I ended up going to Marshalls. For $24 I grabbed a pan that has been working like a charm. (I think it’s Alexis or Lexi home nonstick pan. It’s been a long while ago) I rate the Always Pan a 2/10. 1 for color. 1 for the built in spoon holder I never used. -8 for being very overpriced for all it’s hype. It’s just your average joe non’ish stick pan. Congratulations on your move and remodeling. Thank you for your videos! I really enjoyed them. I hope you guys have a happy and healthy 2024! Literally just reached that bit. That does *not* look like the compostable stuff I’ve seen. 😂

Producing a bunch of bubble wrap is less wasteful than shipping a product that breaks in the process and having to make a new one

Try to save your bubble wrap and give it to anybody you know that is moving houses or apartments anytime soon, moving goes through so many materials and it can all be reused. Especially since people dont read newspapers anymore and dont have a bunch of those laying around to wrap fragile objects

@@therian_forever12hmm… no, I think it was intended to be used as a baking mat. I’m not familiar with the product so I certainly could be wrong, but that’s an incredibly thin piece of silicon to be used as a trivet, & silicon baking mats are quite common for baking cookies. Like Laurie observed, they distribute heat differently when baking on them which makes for thicker, chewier cookies. Although it’s odd that the website didn’t advertise that it came with one, it makes sense that you would need a mat specially made for that pan in order to use one with it & not just a generic size one you can buy at any store.

​@@dietotaku There's also a pretty effective paper net thing that works as good as bubble wrap. I've seen lots of wine companies use it to ship their bottles. If it's good enough to ship glass bottles, it's good enough to ship plastic bottles

Which is why I never buy anything endorsed by a 'celebrity' that's not known for the product they're selling. Even when it IS related to their field, I'm not paying a celebrity tax when I can get it for less and probably better quality. My one exception is Holo Taco. The polishes are not only comparable in price, they're exceptionally high quality. The fact that we both live in the same province is just a bonus lol

My husband and oldest son are both autistic. They *hate* sticky fingers, so this is my life. I could feel Kevin’s stress lol! Especially about the idea of oil on the expensive camera! 😂

Celiac n 2 here! I can absolutely confirm this and I'd like to add that tha majority of glutenfree breads NEED toasting to be aedible! Even freshly baked bread will need it after about half a day (the less oil it has in the dough the more it will last)

From Downshiftology: combine 1/2 cup popcorn with 1/2 teaspooon oil. Add to a medium or large (tempered) glass bowl. Cover with ceramic (microwave safe) lid. Microwave 3-5 minutes, or until there a few seconds between pops. Bowl is extremely hot. Original site has more options, like a paper bag or stacker bag.

I got the mixer and I am soooo in love. But a huge upgrade from a hand mixer. Mine came with a splatter shield as well which it doesn’t look like hers came with.

I honestly don't know why it doesn't have more seasons!

1 cup all purpose flour 2 tbs of baking powder 1 tbs sugar Pinch of salt 1 cup of milk (plant based or dairy) 2 tbs oil (I like avocado) Mix your dry ingredients together, then add in your wet ingredients. Mix until there's no lums and let rest for a few minutes. Give the batter a brief stir before scooping into the hot pan. The recipe makes 6 pancakes and is amazing with dark chocolate chips! 💖💖

Yes, this! I have a cheaper stand mixer from JCPenny and it’s great for most of my needs, but occasionally need my mom’s kitchen aid for thicker things like tea cake batter.

Yeah, I had this issue too. Before I started university when I lived at home, I used to bake a lot (still do), so my parents got me a stand mixer. My older brother started making burger bread from scratch, and he used my mixer for the doe. Safe to say, he burnt it. I ended up being gifted another one, and he burnt that one too, in less then 6 months it was gone. My mom ended up buying a third one, that was specifically for bread, so he could use it for the doe. Yeah, that one gave up as well. None of the 3 mixers could handle the doe. My mom was livid.😂😂😂
