The telescope was used to skimp on animation, I also hate that feathery plant as well, I never understood why it's always used. Btw loved this video and I agree with so much!
The fact that you could pick the same color swatches on matching sofas and loveseats, AND THE COLORS DIDN'T MATCH just fucking killed me when the game came out. And all these years later they're still doing it.
The Get to Work toilet and ceiling light I give a pass because they are more thematic than functional. I see how they are necessary for a jail cell and interrogation room. I also love the disgusting base game stove because I live for a grotty, rags to riches build LOL. But everything else I agree with. You actually gave me some ideas for new items to hate so thanks sm for that! In my opinion, the telescope and cupcake machine are tied for most cursed. Thank God for CC creators that make actually usable versions of both!
9:23 That oven reminds me of the easy bake oven I had as a child just stick a little slot in there to put the cookware on the rack No I have not cooked after those experiences :)
Upper kitchen cabinets. When you try to use the end pieces for dishes or open shelves they never place correctly on the wall. I always have to hold alt and fiddle with it to make it fit. Also, dream home decorator shelves. They disappear every time you leave your lot and go into your house inventory. And overlapping roof pieces that glitch out and leave a weird blank space on the roof trim.
OMG the corner bathtub 😅 My parents' house came with a corner bathtub in the upstairs bathroom. No one of us _ever_ took a bath in it. We only used it to wash our hair above it or shave legs etc and only used the shower which is in the same bathroom. That's how much these things suck. Never been used ever in 22 years, that thing.
As a fellow simmer and person who suffers from severe OCD I actually prefer the toilet paper turned the opposite way like that and the reason why is because if you own cats you do not want your toilet paper to be turned the other way around. Sure the cat can still make a mess but the mess is so much less severe when the paper is turned towards the wall lol.
That steel toilet is supposed to be a jail cell toilet. The ONLY concern is for it to withstand any abuse. Comfort is of NO concern. The ONLY place where it can be used is in a PRISON's cell ! We desperately NEED a table microscope ! Make that a large microscope that is to be put on a table or desk like a computer, and a portable microscope that Sims can carry around and use just about anywhere. Replace the current one with an electron microscope. The Tragic Clown is a solid 15/10.
I was switching playing sims 3 and 4 and one time I buid a house and I planned to have telescope on a roof and I spend some much time on the roof and then I relised WE HAVE THIS STUOID OBSERVATORY IN SIMS 4
I think again the cursed items are ripped from the worst of the worst on free 3d modelling sites. Then attempting to make tweaks or no changes at all. If you have high polygon CC it is going to make your game lag. For Video games you want to use the least amount of polygons and bake the material on. When I was learning 3d modeling I made content for IMVU and Second Life. My professors taught me that high poly is fine for making print, commercials, movies, television shows, and shorts. For video games the lowest amount of polygons possible.is needed or the game will lag, give you choppy animation or even worse it can crash because the high poly count slows everything down.
Ikr the toilet roll on the wrong side is so cursed 🤢 love both your youtube channels btw, your videos are so funny especially the ones with Shanice Shanice and Shantelle Chantelle 😂🤣
@@augusto7681 Someone even made a mod that gives the functionality of the cupcake factory to regular ovens, but it's activated with functional cupcake decorating objects.
I don’t know whether you’ve understood how island counters work. Those drawers are on the correct side. When you have an island in your kitchen, the lip generally goes around the edge with the ‘blank’ side hidden in the middle where no one can reach. So the drawers are under the lip edge. We literally have this in our kitchen.
@@curlypuff Yes? In real life, that’s how it works. You store your less-used items in those cabinets and then move the chairs when you need to access them. More convenient than having them somehow in the middle of the island under the countertop!
