I love herbs. I talk about ADHD. What better connection between the two, then, than to discuss what herbs have worked best for me as I've cared for my ADHD? Hopefully, this helps you find something that works for you.

Stinging Nettle Tea - Yes!! - for several reasons: Firstly I take stinging nettle tea on-demand/as-required for my mid-Summer grass pollen hayfever. Works really quickly eg within 10 mins, way better than pills in that respect. Though I use those too (sometimes simultaneously). Never expected that effectiveness, I was very doubtful when a strange woman (on a campsite) first suggested it to me ("were they playing a joke on me?"). I brew it fresh from nice looking stinging nettle leaves (eg from backyard-garden, not from roadsides or pesticides fields), simmer 10 mins then filter through a folded cone of kitchen paper straight into a mug. Just another taste to get used to, give it time, knowing that it's doing good - vitamins etc as well as antihistamine. Some people add honey (but I don't). Also - free food! Can use even the depleted leaves as part of soup, sandwiches and salads.

Oooo I would totally be up for more herbs! 🌿 I actually have adhd & pmdd too (covid infection was my wake-up to get it checked out) & currently am working on really expanding my kitchen for a healthier lifestyle as well as designing some classy labels with a unique vibe for the *herbal & tea* section-I'd love to hear some more, especially what's worked! I gotta try the nettle now of course!

I’d be interested to know the brand for the ginseng blend, I’d love to try.

Here because I've tried adderall and it didn't effect me. I can't swallow pills, so I opened the capsules. There isn't many other options for opening capsules and even then doctors disagree on whether it is as effective. I don't know if stimulants don't effect me, I don't notice a difference in caffeine for me either.

Re Ginseng, have you also tried _not_ taking that regular break from it - to see if lack of break makes any discernable difference (to your subjective experience)? I asked a GPT chat-bot/LLM just now and it quoted/paraphrased: "According to one source, taking a break from ginseng after 2-3 months of long-term use is not strictly necessary but is more a matter of tradition and biological intuition . Another source suggests that different time scales are advisable for different types of ginseng"

Hi! Thanks for the video it was helpful. By the way can you someday review the task manager Lunatask? It claims to have been developed with ADHD in mind.

I’ve worked with Lunatask! I’ll definitely add it to the list of reviews. Good call.
