Extremely “DYNAMIC!” and well-constructed night light. Why dynamic with an exclamation point. Because it has 9 colors and 6 lighting modes. Get your disco on as one of the modes is music mode and it will synchronize your light with your favorite music playing in the vicinity of the light. Additionally, it is dimmable and has dusk-to-dawn functionality. But let’s not stop there. Not only that, but everything also has voice-controlled activation. Just say “Hey Light” and any of the 21 voice commands from the provided command table and Walla the light changes color, dims, brightens, pulsates, and a variety of other nifty functions. Pretty “DYNAMIC!” for a plug-in-the-wall non-WIFI night light. Younger youth will have fun with this. It is pretty easy to use the distinct functions if you use the voice commands, so keep or copy the provided voice command table as it is extensive. You can also click through the variety of command options with the button on the top of the light which I find to be a hassle as it has so many different selectable colors and mode combinations. We use our light in the bathroom, and have it set to red and dimmed, in nighttime mode; so, it is only on when the bathroom light is off, and no eye shock when using the facilities at night. But it is quite easy to have fun with as a nightlight in a younger youth’s bedroom. The only con I have is it doesn’t have any memory and must be reset anytime it is unplugged. It stays set to whatever color and mode you choose until changed or unplugged. Once unplugged it reverts to ‘always on white light’. So, unplugging the light for your razer, blow dryer, or whatever resets the light to ‘always on white light’. Using voice commands, it is easy to set back to our preferred setting… “Hey Light Red Light”, “Hey Light Dim the Light”, Hey Light Nighttime Mode”. If you lose your command table and must revert to button clicking to change color and mode combinations, I anticipate any positive feelings for the light will diminish. Great light, fun light, inexpensive light, and durable light. Get one!
Review Update: Still a great Light, but the size makes it difficult to plug in anything else to the other wall socket. Dropping one star.
