Super stoked to hear that SOMD Offroad! Glad you enjoy the videos! We have a lot of fun out on the trail filming these and it's awesome to hear others are enjoying them too. I'm excited that the extended cut videos are doing so well. It's the best way for us to share the longer rides and give viewers like you the feeling that you're are actually there with us. Appreciate the positive feedback, we have a lot in store for 2018 so stay tuned!

just watched this again and still enjoyed it! I'm in Alaska and need these vids to keep my sxs fix in the cold winter! so thanks, and also for showing wildcat content. I have a wildcat trail and don't see much for videos with those in them.

4 years late to this vid (i missed it somehow?) anyway. Ivan did the right thing by letting you take over that ravine drop in the 900. Not fully committing to the obstacle like that was probably what rolled him in the first place. Beauty of a trail through there.

Thanks for checking out the videos. Let us know what you think of the feature length trail ride videos. Do you like the longer trail ride edits? Many viewers have asked for longer edits of the trail rides so we will be releasing some extended cut version like this one to see what the response is like. Don't forget to check out our Channel and Subscribe! Hope you enjoy the video!

Both are built similar. You really cant get a true comparison on reliability. You can only hear what people preffer. That is due to area specific demographics. Reality is, can am has built there X3 to be as much like a rzr as they can. Even creating a true locking front diff in the smartlock for 2018. This has now become a ford chevy question.
@wraith511802003
@wraith511802003 6 лет назад
DAMN that is a jeep size machine, tight trails will be a problem for it. Stick to the 64 inch machines with smartlock and you wont be disappointed.
@AdrenalineJunkieProd
@AdrenalineJunkieProd 6 лет назад
Hey Game Bred Duramax, that's a loaded question, lol. First off, to be clear, I love both machines and they are very evenly matched. I'm still on the RZR bandwagon though. I still think its the better machine out of the box for mixed use... in my opinion. My 2017 RZR Turbo has not had a single serious issue since I've owned it and I've put well over 1500 hard miles on it. I love the performance of both the engine and the suspension. I love the styling and the massive aftermarket support. However, I would probably love an X3 just about as much if that's the machine I had. I definitely prefer the Polaris drive line over that of the Can-Am. Truthfully, I am not really brand biased but naturally, I do have personal preferences based on personal experiences. At the end of the day the most important thing to do is to choose a machine that suits your riding style and your realistic expectations/needs. Hope that's a decent answer to your question, its a tough one.
@AdrenalineJunkieProd
@AdrenalineJunkieProd 6 лет назад
Ya Mike, the 4 seaters get pretty tight in some tighter areas on the trail. Tell your buddy to get a chainsaw ready Game Bred Duramax, lol. We had to widen quite a few spots on our trails when the 4 seaters joined the group. Body damage is something you need to accept, lol.

im happy to see the wildcat. i have a wildcat trail limited so same motor and same body and everything just shorter suspension arms so im 50 inches wide and its been an awesome machine. a lot of people really never think of artic cat, well now textron but they make good machines
@AdrenalineJunkieProd
@AdrenalineJunkieProd 6 лет назад
Hey Dreamscythe, I too used to be skeptical of the capabilities and reliability of a lot of the Arctic Cat machines. However, over the last two or so seasons the Wildcat Limited and Wildcat Trail have proven to be worthy and capable of holding up with all of the other machines on the trails. I'd love to see how one of the bigger Arctic Cats holds up to our abuse. A guy in the group had an Arctic Cat Wildcat 1000 for a little while but it was nothing but problems. Seems the smaller Arctic Cat machines are way better. I can't wait to see what Textron brings to the table. I am hoping one of the riders upgrades to anew Textron machine soon.

go put your butt in the seat of the ones you are instrested in. Get some good time driveing in the terrain you want to ride in. Only then can you know what is best for you. Generally speaking you cant go wrong with either RZR or X3 BUT the X3 is longer the site lines are min, so you cant see what you are doing on the trails. So choose what fits the terrain the best for you

Needs to have good range, meet highway speeds, be comfortable enough for an old man, storage capacity, (camping gear and spare parts, super dependable and customizable.

Ya Greg, I meant comfort wise and endurance wise. You can spend all day in a SXS riding and get up the next morning feeling great and do it again. Not as easy to pull that off on an ATV. There is no doubt ATV's excel in certain terrain but SXS's dominate in other areas. Like anything, all the various machines and platforms have pros and cons. Hey man, best bang for buck when it comes to an all around capable machine in my opinion is a RZR XP 1000.

Where did you get those side mirrors on the CanAm?

I believe the side mirrors on the Black Can-Am are made by Seizmic. The OEM Can-Am mirrors are similar too.

Julian I am from northeastern Ohio and we ride like you guys do same type of force same type of trails I’m interested in buying a Polaris 2018 rock in Trail addition with the low gear reduction of 55% what are your thoughts is it too low for our area or is it will I be OK thanks Barry
@AdrenalineJunkieProd
@AdrenalineJunkieProd 6 лет назад
Hey Barry, personally I find the stock gearing is just fine for this type of use. You would probably sacrifice quite a bit of high end with that gear reduction. I've never had a chance to try the rock edition for myself so I can't say for sure.

What is the homemade rack on the back of the triple black x3 ?
@AdrenalineJunkieProd

Hey Cathy, it's our gear rack for when we go out for a cookout and trail ride. Lets us bring a few coolers full of food and supplies into the bush.

One thing i notice the X3 has to make many 3 point turns, where the other machines do not.

Never yet, I have been lucky. A few don't work as good as they used to though.... lol. I usually retire them before they totally get destroyed. I need to upgrade cameras before spring. I'd like to step up the video quality a bit more.

The retractable harnesses are the IMMI Click 6 harnesses available through your Polaris dealership. They are awesome and worth the money.

someone teach me on the reason why the people driving the x3's are running there non performance keys?
@AdrenalineJunkieProd

Most the guys run the performance key about 90% of the time on the trail. Not sure what is making you think otherwise.

Why tow your vehicle backwards? Polaris didn't put that thing in the wind tunnel to test it backwards at 70 miles an hour.
@AdrenalineJunkieProd
@AdrenalineJunkieProd 6 лет назад
It's for better weight distribution on my trailer. Being rear engine when I park it forwards the weight is a little too far back and the trailer likes to wander. With the RZR backed on it trailers perfectly as it has more tongue weight. I do it this way because it works better for me with this setup. When I use my other trailer I tow forwards and when I get my new SXS trailer I will probably go back to towing with the RZR parked forwards on that too.

i dont see how you keep talking about the different power delivery.. its all in your head both powerplants made the same power at low rpm, the new motor makes more up top but you didnt lose a bunch of low end power...

Sorry man, hard to cover all the bases every time. I don't script these videos, just chat about what comes to mind at the time. Sometimes I miss stuff but once the video is done I can't go back and ad so I just try to do the best I can, they aren't perfect. That's where the comments come in, we can discuss the areas people agree with or disagree with. Don't take the comments or omissions too seriously. My goal is to be as unbiased as I can since I honestly love both the RZR and the Maverick. Both are badass machines.

Its a good vid. But pleast less commentary. The info about the machines is great. But the other stuff? Like talking about other people and the "dangers" and whatnot? Please leave that out. Its more enjoyable without off the interruptions.

@AdrenalineJunkieProd 6 лет назад
Hey James, glad you liked the video. A bunch of our other videos has less or no commentary at all. Since this is one of our vlog style videos there is more commentary. Appreciate the feedback and I'll keep it in mind for future videos. There's a lot of trial and error, some of the videos turn out better than others.
@crippledproductions2194
@crippledproductions2194 6 лет назад
AdrenalineJunkieProd Oh i dont mean to put you down for it. I know how much work it takes. But a suggestion, if you're gunna do a vlog, try talking to the camera instead of voicing over the video. Its just more natural and more personable cuz we can actually see you instead of cutting the audio out for your voice. It'll take a bit to get used to it but it makes for a better video :)
@AdrenalineJunkieProd
@AdrenalineJunkieProd 6 лет назад
Hey James, no hard feelings man. I appreciate the feedback. One of our goals this season is to work on that. Like you said, it takes some practice to get right. It's just really hard to ride and vlog to the camera at the same time and make it all flow together. Not impossible, but something we need to work on. Feedback like yours is super helpful because it helps me know what viewers are thinking and lets me know where I need to improve. Appreciate it. Feel free to chime in at any time and let me know what your thinking.

We will have videos that have both, so if you like the ones without commentary you can choose to watch those. It's hard trying to make content that pleases everyone, we have been trying our best to find a happy medium. Thanks for the feedback Jonathan.

The dirtbike on the street pulling the endless really is part of the problem that everybody has a dirtbike or’s. Sorry not impressed with that bullshit it’s diotic
@AdrenalineJunkieProd
@AdrenalineJunkieProd 2 года назад
Cool. Do you have a problem with it being endless or just pure badass? It's an empty road in the middle of nowhere. I get it, it's not recommended and it's not exactly legal but I can't control everyone we ride with. He did it, it looked awesome, I happened to film it and I included it in the video. Do I suggest doing wheelies down the street? NO, I don't. If you are gonna do wheelies do them offroad or on private property somewhere. However, we can't always be angels. No one was hurt. No real harm done... I wouldn't go as far as calling it idiotic, maybe a little reckless at best.

Ya'll ride off-trail a lot. Kinda irresponsible imo.
@AdrenalineJunkieProd
@AdrenalineJunkieProd 4 года назад
A Bur all these trails you see here are in private property. The trails were built by the riders in this group. It’s how we make new trails. A lot of the land in these videos is owned by riders in the group and some of the guys have been riding back in this bush for over 30 years. We have permission to be on all the land we are on. These are not public access trail systems. There is nothing irresponsible about it. Just a group of friends having fun.
