Three of the top professional Skimboarders in the world Blair Conklin, Sam Stinnett and Ken Suzuki try to ride some dangerous shorebreak at a remote beach in Mexico and risk drowning, paralysis or being consumed whole by a giant shark.
Dude, I didn't pay attention to your emojis and I actually thought I was gonna see something cool 😂 turns out I did, but not in the way I was expecting.
Made my own as a kid. Shaped from .25" plywood...put a couple of bricks under the nose and then set a lot of bricks on top...for some nose rocker. Worked great!
Nice rides and they dont have to paddle through sets. Only disadvantage is their jams are getting jammed with sand. I crack myself up. Yea our skimboards were plywood and semi round in 1967. Holy that was a long time ago.
These guys were born and raised on them beaches and waves and have no fear of the sharks. I’m a pure northern Canadian guy and we got big bears and wolves but if I ever seen a shark I’d shit in my pants or run on water like Jesus. Cheers.
@Christian Prince no definitely a dolphin, sharks don't surface in an arc like that, only dolphins. Plus you'd also see the sharks tail fin pop up with it's dorsal fin
When I was their age the first twin fins were showing up. Most of them were pigs and skim boards were round. “Oh to be young again” Probably every human that has ever lived has thought this. On the plus side first time I surfed Uluwatu less than half a dozen in the line up, unfortunately the boards were so slow it was difficult to make the sections.
I surfed out here by myself on a big swell. About 2-3X overhead it starts to break out further. All the energy of the wave just hurls you into the shore break for a chaotic pounding. It’s a sketchy place that definitely feels like lands end
Do you know the movie "The Shallow"?? 😊, I already watched that movie, that movie is about a girl and a shark, just search it on iflix app or just here in youtube (if you want). For me, It's already my favorite movie because I really want that and I just watched it on TV on Movie Central Channel on TV plus, just saying :)
The bit in this video where it showed a fin is actually a dolphin. You can tell by the shape of the fin because dolphins have more curved fins than sharks. Also sometimes when the dolphins come up out of the water enough, you can see the arch in their backs. That’s not normal for a shark because they don’t breath air, they breathe water (:
Im also asking this myself since the video from Brazil , as in the last video of RAW BEEFS TV , his hair still as long as it was . Anyhow , sick video again from THISISMOV , thanks much for sharing it with all of us
