Yeah, i really gotta applaud Wrestling Bios for the pure creativity involved, every week, with Bret Hart telling Road Dog to shutup!! I look forward to those skits every week!!
Reliving The War saved me through lockdown. I will watch this to the very end. I'm kinda sad because the end is in sight. Goldberg's Streak ending and the finger poke is coming up soon. It's gonna be sad but entertaining to watch WCW's downfall again.
Yeah, who could forget that!! I know i certainly haven't!! I'm also old enough to remember the whole incident of Lorena chopping off his "wood", lmao!!
*FUN FACT:* Lex Luger winning the US title, although VERY briefly, marked his fifth time as the champion. The last time he held the title was seven years earlier in 1991...
I've just now caught up after binge watching the whole series. its one hell of a journey through my childhood. The man's Sick and still giving the people what they want. Get well soon bro.
Not to be 'that guy,' but Goldberg's shoulders were on the mat for a 3-count when Meng had him in the Tongan Death grip, so I'm counting King Tonga as the linear WCW World champ :)
With each new episode, the end of the series is drawing closer and closer. I wish it wouldn't end at all. This is the best thing to happen on Thursdays.
August 10th 1998 was the day I started watching wrestling again, and I was immediately hooked. I attended my first RAW exactly one year later (it was the final taped RAW). Really looking forward to reliving that night. I'm not sure how many people realize how much work must go into these videos. To put this much content out is wild.
I hadn't seen that Konnan speech for Rey, completely skipped over HoF stuff this year so I wasn't even aware he'd gone in. Went and watched it after this video recommended it, really fantastic stuff from Konnan that really helped put into perspective how incredible someone like Rey was at the time.
One of these days if possible I just want a compilation video that’s just the Reliving the War intro videos. This hybrid video package of both Raw and Nitro is epic.
The ways that the Bret Hart “shut up” clip have been used in this series is awesome…especially since it’s become a thing with the Outlaws. It’s my 3rd favorite bit in this series, the top 2 being the Mufuggah and Saturday Wright Fever.
I was their for that episode of raw and still got the ticket from that night. I thought I found my 11 year old self in the crowd. JR calling godfathers ladies Omaho’s and his reaction to stone colds entrance is classic
Started watching around episode 18?? Can't believe we're almost at Summerslam'98 now, will definitely have that emptiness feel when this series end 😭 Also get well soon good sir 😊🙏
I've been watching this from the start and we are approaching when I first started watching WWF. It would have had to been in September of 1998 so I'm excited to start recognizing shows that I watched when I got into this. Thank you for this series!
Just want to say love your content and love reliving the war. My cousin past away a month ago, we grew up watching these shows. Seeing this brings back good memories.
The Highlights of the Brawl for all for me was Bart Gunn getting Knocked out at wrestlemania 15 the theme song And Jim Cornette's Rants about it Over the years and that dark side of the Ring episode awesome Video as always.
I LOVE the show, thanks for powering through and getting the episode out. I hope you feel better soon. I wouldn't have blamed you for sitting this one out but it I'm so happy you didn't!
This is possibly the best wrestling channel on youtube. I haven't watched a great deal, but it's so detailed and thorough. I haven't the first idea how this stuff works, but the fact that you get actual footage, soundbites, music, combined with the insane attention to detail and lack of repetition is so incredible. I will never be able to catch up on everything you've done, but I'm extremely happy knowing that this exists after years of settling for other channels which I won't name but we all know who they are!
Thanks for all your hard work, and thank you for working on new videos while sick. This is one of the only channels that actually brings me joy. Your humor is the best. Hope you get well soon!
Honestly your idea about the 4 corner tag idea is brilliant. Would make hot tags to a corner with two opposite members more suspenseful. Would also make blind tags a major part of the match.
@@themadoneplays7842 I've always found the build up entertaining in a cheesy way but sadly the match stunk the joint. Had the rematch been a decent match maybe we'd look at OWN/Hollywood storyline a bit more fondly.
Hope you get better and this as always is a great way to start my Thursday work week. Also I love how wcw built up meng as a threat to Goldberg only to have Goldberg squash meng at ease gotta love wcw booking at this time
So devastating to see Tokyo lose and get booted from a potential tag run with Alex. My dreams of an Axis Powers reunion were crushed! Those two could have been unstoppable...well, unless those pesky Allies were to get involved, I suppose....
Can’t shout you out enough for doin these reliving the War episodes, I been hooked since you started these, Brings me back to when Wrestling was actually good not like now when everything is totally PREDICTABLE thanks again ✊🏽💪🏽
To wrestling bios I do appreciate you continuing on with reliving the war despite that your under the weather. Means a lot to me man cuz I really do enjoy watching your show reliving the war 👍👍
Missed the last few months to be honest so damn busy, great stuff as always. I love that I can just have your channel running for hours and hours and hours in the background. I’ll fall asleep to a Show review and wake up watching “Undertaker in the 90s” it’s beautiful
Shout-out to you my guy. I don't even know your name but I'm with ya every week. This is my favorite show on RU-vid. Thx for toughing it out for us this week 💪 We appreciate ya
