Frank's compassion in this episode was one of the highlights of the whole show. I also don't know my mother's birthday, so I'll cut Ray some slack.

Frank had a lot of these moments throughout the show. It was a welcome change of pace when the bickering and speculation got too tiresome sometimes...

It was a brilliantly written finale. The show was so good because Ray Romano made every character funny and never hogged the spotlight for himself. Not just one of the best comedies of all time, one if the best tv shows of all time full stop.

Frank's no-nonsense attitude in moments like this was refreshing... essential, even, to endure so much paranoia in this show lol Paranoia in a sitcom is funny but in "ELR" it was really frustrating sometimes.
