I saw this for the first time on Thanksgiving back when Family Films were important to the television networks and they knew families would be together on that night.
A magical piece of work, which I saw when it came out. I was seven, and knew nothing of animation. I just believed all of it. Ray Harryhausen was simply one of the greats.
DIslike what? This making of the film documentary? The film itself was a box office success, world wide! Watch this and hear Ray say at the end, "Mysterious Island was one of the most successful films that we made and I am pleased people still enjoy it today"
