Great review! I would like to also share my thoughts with you. I've been using the wired 502 for many years due to the shape and for my palm grip style. I recently got myself a G604 for the shape, the free spinning middle wheel and wireless/BT. That mouse is 137g with standard AA battery. I reduced the weight down to 121g by using lithium AAA battery with a little bit of aluminum foil. Yesterday I got my hands on the Viper Ultimate, 74g wireless, it's light, ok comfort for gaming. However the ambidextrous doesn't give me the same level of comfort as the g502. Today, I got the Basilisk X hyperspeed, again with the battery mod I got it down to 91g!! It fits perfectly in the hand, even better than the g502, easy to grip and the weight is perfect for me. This is so close to a perfect mouse only if it has the scroll wheel like g502 it would be there End Game mouse for me. I would highly recommend the Basilisk as a pure gaming mouse, and the G604 for productivity focus. Both are amazing for palm grip, comfort and great for gaming too. Finally, the additional BT connection for laptop is the icing on the cake.

Great info. How does the batter mod exaclty?You use AAA instead of AA lithium battery? How do you do that? Thanks in forward!

@@Svetyac use aluminum foil, create a ball shaped to fill the gap inside. Easy. Lately I've fell in love with the Logitech g604, it's much better for palm grip and buttons on the go. Highly recommend, 121g of goodness (with battery mod)

Will give the 604 some thought, but leaning towards the basilisk hyperspeed heavily - it has all I need + it's ridiculously affordable. Recently got MX Master 3 for productivity and getting this kind of an amazing mouse for 50 euros fits perfectly for my budget.

Damn I really don't know what to do! I'm really between the Basilisk and g604. Which one has more days of use with Bluetooth? I play games a lot but my main focus is battery and comfort as a designer. (Logitech quite + beautiful tho) But Basilik is half the price man.. haha

The right side of the Mouse doesn't have any Feet. Concerned that it would be grinding on the Plastic every time you swipe right. Would like to know your thoughts.

It never felt like it was grinding at all. It was nice and smooth, though not quite as smooth as something like an Xtrfy M4 of Glorious Model O.

I didn't have any issues with connection. The only thing I can think of is to make sure you have a full battery and the switch on the bottom is on the correct connection type - bluetooth or 2.4GHz.
