I still have my old Deathadder 3500dpi (Blue light, entire wheel blue light) best mouse I've ever owned... my Vespula helps it too. Though it's temporarily shelved for lack of buttons.

Good thing they got rid of the rubberized sides. I have had the Deathadder V2 Pro for a year now and the rubber has already worn-off which didn't happen with my previous Deathadder. This time at least there are these rubber stickers that you can replace if you really want to.

I simply got the wired DAV3 for 58$. The cable is really flexible and doesn't restrict hand movement whatsover and other than that it is literally the same mouse. Plus, you don't have to worry about battery life.

I have small hands and i play like a relaxed claw/palm grip but its not a fully committed palm grip if that makes sense. Rn i have the razer mamba elite and i like the size so i wont a mice thats closest to that size so im debating on getting the razer viper v2 pro or the death adder v3 pro. What should i get?

The V2X takes AA batteries, so if they made a V3X in the same spirit it would likely be quite a bit heavier than the V3 Pro. I wish I could have the extra buttons too, though :(

I was really thinking of selling off my g pro wireless to get this, since I find myself often going back to the familiar/more comfortable deathadder v2 (probably due to having larger hands) despite the g pro being nicer to flick around since its wireless and lighter. But the price on launch is just way too steep, might wait a while till it drops a little or goes on sale

I hope the plastic is somewhat better than the v2 model. I've had mine what little less than 2 years and it flexes and squeeks like crazy. Got a 10+ year old copperhead that's still solid as a brick.

I've used my V2 Pro for thousands of hours, no squeaks but the rubber is degraded down to the plastic sides

I had the same issues with the v2 that you did and the creaking is completely gone on the v3, I think it's because on the V2 you have that top shell that wraps around the entire mouse, makes it a lot less rigid. Now that the v3 has individual buttons for clicking instead of them being built into the shell, it's a LOT more rigid. I also actually have the mouse unlike a lot of people commenting, if you're at all interested I'd recommend getting it.

Just got this mouse myself and have to say hands down it's by far the best mouse I've owned, Clicks are perfectly balanced in terms of pressure needed so no accidental presses from all buttons although the 2 side buttons do feel slightly less easier to press than the left and rights, Weight is amazing, Not used to a mouse this light and picking it up takes some getting used to as I've almost dropped it multiple times not taking into account how light it is lol, The scroll wheel for me is perfectly balanced, Not tight and not loose ie you feel each ridge just right, Coming from a Logitech G703 where the scroll wheels always fall apart for looseness within a few weeks and plagued by double clicking issues and not double clicking sometimes when you want it too is breath of fresh air coming to these optical switches, I'm sold no more Logitech for me I'm done with their shoddy build quality.

I mean the Deathadder Crowd is definitely competitive. Many of the valorant pros use the G703 which has a similar shape and style. Shazham from Sentinals has been using the V3 recently as well and says he likes it.

@@trymefool2257 i know, i have the max gaming edition with glass skates and the mouse is amazing unless for the clicks, they aren't bad but they aren't very light like my previous mouses and is something that I miss, DAv3 it costs a lot more but I think is worth if you have money since it's premium quality with the best sensor in the market and i think the best switches.

I was in the market for a new mouse somewhat recently, and I was looking at a Deathadder because I used to have one years ago and it was just my favorite shape. I was debating it for ages, but decided against it because of it's weight and super large shape. I ended up getting the Viper V2 pro cus of the weight, the feet, the clicks and everything just being like 5-10% better than the original Viper I was using. If this came out before the viper, I'd have picked it up in a heartbeat, but I've already spent 100+ on the Viper, so I'll give this a miss.

Here’s a suggestion that I have been using for the last few years my buddy told me who worked at Best Buy. For all your peripherals (headset, mic, keyboard, mouse, etc.) get it at best buy and pay for the 2 year geek squad protection. Anytime within the 2 years you can exchange it for anything. Technically there has to be something wrong with it but you can just say the mouse is double clicking. Or if you liked the product and want to keep it, you can always exchange it for a new one after 2 years. The protection plan cost depends on the item but I’ve spent only $15-30 on each and when you consider the flexibility and usefulness of refreshing your tech it’s super nifty. I’m gonna do this now and trade in my gprox super light and try the DAV3.

For people wondering, the scroll wheel is extremely loose compared to any other mouse I've used. It's difficult for me to get used to right now, it seems they've gone way too far with tweaking it. I find myself wishing for the one from the Viper V2 Pro.

In warzone / cod loose scroll wheel sucks because you end up double scrolling easily or not scrolling enough because you're afraid of double scrolling which in turn causes you to not switch your weapon and end up losing an encounter because you couldn't switch from AR to SMG on time or because you only had 4 bullets left in one of your weapons and needed to quickly switch to another one only for the animation to start, then cancel wasting time and leaving you with 4 bullets. This mouse seems to have so much going for it. But the loose scrollwheel and lack of at least one extra side button/easy to reach mappable button is really shitty. I wish more mice had that third side button that the g502 has. I mainly play warzone, and a third button is basically a must for me on my mouse (mount, armoring up, and melee) all easy/convenient buttons around WASD are already taken by other stuff.

Not to be a dick but u really shouldn’t be using the scroll wheel to cycle through guns. Its a bad habit so u should get use to using 1 and 2 to switch between guns

U have to use the scroll wheel. So i had to train myself to learn how to use 1,2,3 for switching weapons. Trust me its better

I have both the Viper V2 Pro and this Deathadder V3 Pro. Biggest difference is the swipe clicks on the Deathadder V3 Pro has more control (maybe because I'm right handed and it's built for right handed users). However, the Viper V2 Pro feels like it can register faster, especially noticeable when using a pistol in CS:GO it fires like a machine gun. Deathadder V3 Pro seems slower despite using the same switch; I suspect it's because of how the mouse is shaped. Other than that, I really love this mouse!

I'm not sure I'm gonna like this. I own every model of DA since the 3.5G and it feels like it's molded just for my hand. I'm sure I'll buy this one too when they come out with a wired version but I'm not sure I'll like it as much as my beloved V2.

its really tough because razer and logitech to as certain extent can charge as much as they want and people will buy them because of how big the lead between them and everyone else is. owning both i would def say the deathadder should be the same price as the newest g pro superlight model whatever that may be. they are the same caliber of mouse

i love this mouse for csgo. i used to own the gpx superlight but i get crazy hand cramps and i find it unusable without grips even if i find the coating of the mouse feeling really premium

I was ready to pull the trigger on this mouse until I saw they removed the BT/2.4ghz toggling that allows the device to be paired to both a gaming pc via usb dongle and a work PC over bluetooth. My desk setup is dual purpose for gaming and working from home and having multi pairing support is a must for me. The V2 Pro had this, why did they remove it? So stupid.

I think it does come with a dongle, but a 1000hz polling dongle (what basically every other wireless gaming mouse dongle polls at). Their "HyperPolling" 4000hz dongle is sold separately.

I've beem bouncing back and forth from razer to steelseries to logi and by far I do like the razer mice the most so far. there shape, size, and the optical switches have really been good to me. I have the DA v2 pro with pulsar glass glides, but I also have a steelseries aerox 5, and a Logi G Pro X superlight. what kills it for me is synapse. I look at synapse the same way I look at Asus Aura, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light, etc its ok at first but you end up avoiding it as much as possible and some times forget you even have it.

The one thing I can't stand about all the "pro" models is the lack of a DPI button under the scroll wheel. When did that design become bad? I never used that button for changing DPI... it was always just clutch to have an extra bind there

I'm super tempted to buy this. But both this mouse and the viper v2 pro only have 2 mappable buttons (right/left mouse buttons don't count, nor does the scroll wheel).. I need at least 3 or 4 mapable buttons. I don't get how this is "a super gamer performance mouse" while only having 2fn mappable buttons. I blame the tarded tac shooters honestly. I currently use a G502 lightspeed and I have mount, armor on the side buttons. Melee on another button. And 2 buttons left that I use for airstrikes and munitions boxes etc. I can do without having killstreaks etc on the two buttons. But I really need armor, mount and melee on the mouse since there are no comfortable and quick options to put those on my keyboard. So that means I have to give one of these up. While all the easy to press keys around the WASD are already taken by other important stuff. It's really annoying. My hands aren't small perse, but I don't want to take my fingers off the WASD keys to perform a mount, armor up or to melee. It's super dumb that they have gone ultra minimalistic just to please a handful of people that only excusively play 20 year old tac shooters and or clones of that tac shooter.

The trend of removing features but increasing the price is starting to tick me off they are taking a look at the g502 wireless price and saying well that's 150 and doing great why can't we? The thing I would liked to see was this mouse have Bluetooth, the free scrollwheel button ability to take off the top shell to hot swap the switches and clean the inside. The feature that let's you tilt the scroll wheel left or right to activate buttons. While all this being under 70 grams would make it worth the price.

@@gttrmgc3284 don't talk unless you know what you are talking about first off the basilisk x doesn't have anything I just said besides Bluetooth the ultimate only has the side button scroll wheel and it's "infinite" scroll wheel is just a resistance lower and not like g502. So don't be stupid and complain about people wanting more features for a 150 dollars mouse.

Drill that into your head "The most popular mouse in the world," but you don't like it which is fine. That said, this V3 is absolutely not a Deathadder. I was looking forward to this mouse until the dimwits decided to change its design. The forthcoming Pulsar X2 at half its price is lot more interesting to me.

This mouse hits it for me. I’ve been looking for a replacement for the superlight that’s larger, and specially taller. Something that came as a surprise bonus was how well the undercut under the thumb buttons, and the ring finger makes it so much easier to lift the mouse.

The removal of the two buttons below the scroll wheel is a dealbreaker for me because I map it to various keys in games. I hope the standard Deathadders retain the keys because I love the shape of the mouse. The V3, however good it may be, is vastly different to the Deathadders that have been.

@@bobsag1164 Yep. It's essentially a mouse literally for pros available also on mass market so it just retains the basics and optimizes what it has. Also adjusted shape and such to be a bit more like the Zowie mice which are famed for their comfortable ergo shapes.

I just got my G Pro X Superlight and I set it to 250 Hz just to try it out. I haven't noticed any difference so far. Apart from the battery life, which is now more than double the default amount. LOL I can't help it, but this 4K/8K Hz pulling rate just seems like marketing dogshit to me.

This new "Deathadder" is no Deathadder. The shape is almost completely different, especially the mouse button shapes and the flaring - I would not have thought this mouse was a new Deathadder if I wasn't told so. The only upgrades I could want on the V2 is even lighter weight (but with no holes), and a detachable USB type C cable. I might buy another Deathadder V2 if this is the direction Razer is going with it, I've been using Deathadders since like 2009 lol

Like unless you're already using a free mouse you got with a desktop back in 2007, a new mouse isn't going to win any games or likely give you any kind of performance edge. But some people buy new mice all the time, which I don't get. Ditto with keyboards.

Considering switching out my Model D for this. I don't like the price, and I don't like the wireless-ness actually, and it doesn't seem a wired version will be released anytime soon. But I can't deal with the janky/scratchy/wobbly mouse buttons on the model D. It's great for the price, but coming from an MX Master, I can't deal with the build quality/feel of it. I wonder if this is better in that regard though? It should be I hope, considering the price.

@@Rz4rect0r Yeah. I found out about that just after getting an SS Prime which does the dob (without any horribleness in the clicks/buttons). The wired DAv3 would probably have been my first choice though. A much better deal than the wired version. But I'm glad I got the SS Prime, as it is kinda unique (in a good way, for me at least) and an amazingly good mouse for the price.

I don’t know how to feel about the loss of Bluetooth. The V2 is extremely versatile because you don’t need the usb receiver and as a result can also free up a USB port. I believe that the new design is probably better but that lack of Bluetooth for me is not insignificant.

Bluetooth is only really good on the go. If you seriously game with a Bluetooth connection you should reconsider. The delay is crazy, doesn't stay consistent at all and drains more battery

Battery wise, my ROG strix impact II wireless lasts for 89 hours (rgb off) and charges 0-100 in just over an hour Just sharing this because i was surprised that some mice takes a couple of hours to fully recharge such as the DA V3 Pro 😦
