Been using this keyboard bout a week now and had to make sure I wasn’t the only one who’s loved this keyboard. Was originally wanting a wooting 60he but it normally takes a month to ship. I figured why not get this with 2 day shipping and see how it goes and this keyboard is phenomenal. It won’t react as fast as the wooting, but it’s insanely fast with the 2.8 travel distance.
For Those Who are Wondering about these Question , I have the Answer. Q : Can you Replace the Keycaps? A : YES and NO at the same time , Capslock were using different stabilizer , and the space bar doesn't seems to fit with the others.. The yes is , its technically fit since its using MX Stem , but some of the third party keycaps out there might get stuck on some keys , definitely NOT RECOMMENDED. Q: Is the Switch HOT SWAPPABLE? A : YES , but only with Low Profile Optical Switch like Keychron Low Profile , the switch can easily be pull straight out from the PCB. Q: Is there any Dampener inside the Board? A : YES , there's silicon dampener inside the Switch itself and Inside the Board Q: can you take apart the PCB from the metal plate to remove the stabilizer? A: NO .. Unfortunately the PCB stuck on the metal plate by a plastic locking , if you wanted to lube the stabilizer you have to use Syringe style Lube.
I had the first Deathstalker with a LCD screen more than a decade ago and it wasn't a good experience. They have cheap chicklet keys and the LCD was also a disappointment - there is an obvious lag because of the sub-par framerate, what's the point of being able to play videos when it has a choppy framerate. I have the Logitech G915 wireless and it has decent keycaps although a little on the fragile side. It is super slim and super sleek and although it excels in the looks department it has a very thin and fragile feel to it. I prefer the Huntsman and Blackwidow series.
hey nice review. so is this about as quiet as the huntsman v2? also i think it would be cool if you reviewed the ornata v3 since it is low profile like this one and compared it to the ornata v2 just a thought.
@@Terafied so is the actuation force too low to where I can't rest my hands on the keys before pressing? I'm using a low profile asus membrane board that looks exactly like this so I think I'll end up getting this. This is linear but is there any feeling when pressing down the keys at all? I'm used to tactile feedback to let me know when a key has been actuated. But this one seems like it's for me.
