Your old brake pads looked like they still had life. Are you aware there's an adjustment where you can push the pads in more after they've worn a bit? You have to loosen a nut and turn the screw with an allen wrench which pushes the pad in. It's the nut in the middle at 0:43
Yes, good point. I think I could have adjusted them more and got more life. I have used that adjustment method since making this video, but wasn't using it before.

I agree, I will definitely try green slime next time… but in my case I had multiple holes and sought the slime would of worked in my scenario. Definitely a pain getting the tire back on the rim 😩

My 5 day old MX650 brakes are squeaking. And also they randomly felt choppy. There was this rubber thing That was almost off of my front brake which I put back on. And alsoThere was this thing that was loose on my braKes that I screwed on with my finger and made it tighter. I think it solved the issue. Is there a way to make it stop squeaking though
