Парень! Ты молодец! Тонкая и кропотливая работа. Мальчишкой и я модели начал делать. В 2000 году ушёл с корабля. Но и сейчас флотская специальность кормит семью. Вот так хобби сработало. Хочу вспомнить молодость и сделать модель с дистанционным управлением. Управление купил ))) Желаю удачи! Привет из Кронштадта!

Very nice! I wish they had modelers and RC clubs in the US. But it seems mostly in England and Europe (Germany).

There are quite a few I remember from the 1980's, try a facebook search for RC Warship or RC yacht or RC powerboat clubs, you may be pleasantly surprised.

great boat! looks amazing. hoping to make one myself. when you put the fiberglass on the foam, did it react with it and eat away the foam? also do you know roughly how much it cost you in the end?

Think I have used about 4 - 5 hundred USD. It did react a little. I would recommend to cover the foam with something before fiberglasing it.

How did you prevent water from leaking in by the propeller shafts?

I greased the shaft before sliding them in, then they were watertight

Im thinking about building myself one too but what the sizes and stuff Because I wanna make it maybe a little bigger than urs And is there a way to make it water resistant so I can do some Riding high in the swimming pool with wave generator

Dx5e, its a flight controller. But it works great and its easy to program.
