People were saying Goku & Vegeta have like 25 slots confirmed out of the 164 slots in this Trailer. Goku (early z) all the way to Goku (middle of super) type beat. Same w vegeta But it’s all good tho cause if it’s Budokai all the transformations are considered new characters because they all fight differently. Unlike the Storm Clones 😂

I mostly think theyre just covering character slots with transformations intentionally just to like sike out the fans. Pretty sure that each character slot will be able to be clicked on and then it will open up a transformation roster aside from the actual roster. At least I hope.

I’m highly confident everybody that matters will be in this game and get rid if them stupid ones like Frieza soldiers and Pui Pui from the last Tenkaichi. I already have a good grasp on who my mains will be long as the gameplay is up to par and exceeds the past games we will be good

No there’s vegeta scouter so vegeta from saying saga-namek. Vegeta cell saga(ssj-SV) Vegeta buu saga(ssj-MJV) Vegeta super (ssj-ssbe) same with goku

Im suprised everyone missed how these char aters on that list are grouped together mostly by sagas etc. That in itself shows you how many new characyers there are from what saga. There is alot of charcaters from super just look at the right bottom side

I’m a major bt3 fan so I don’t necessarily mind them counting transformations, BUT between dragon ball, dbz, the movies, gt, & super, plus the manga only characters like Moro & Meris the roaster should easily be 300 characters. They had 13 pride troopers, the fake sailor moon girls, new nameks, 5 new androids, the 13 deities of destruction, the grand priest, the angels, hit, calba, califia, kale, the giant that was going to blow up the stage, gamma 1 & 2, the supreme Kai, from the other universes, the grand Kai, the 4 regular Kai, you can make gag characters like king Yema, 7 shadow dragons, general rildo, even doll-talkie lol. Then there’s cooler, cooler’s armored squad, bojack, bojack’s 5 goons, dr wheelo, dr wheelo’s androids, Turlus, Turlus gang, garlic jr, garlic jr spice fighters & pizza topping guys lol, Slug, jenempa, tapian, horutigon, They can even bring us dragon ball heroes characters like cumber & fu. Hopefully it won’t be locked behind (paid) dlc. TLDR: This is just the top of my head and it’s over 100 different characters so I know they can give us a LOT more.

Maaaaan I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS GAME. Although I heard that there’s no local multiplayer unfortunately 😔

It's done by series. Super goku has a base form a red form and a blue form. Buu saga goku has a base form a SSJ SS2 and SSJ3. Its like 4 gokus with the transformations of the Goku from that series. Same with Vegeta.

You can tell who actually played Budoaki Tenkaichi 3, and who didn't. Everyone complaining about there being multiple goku;s in the roster clearly never played the old games, because even though transformations counted as characters there as still 98 unique characters EXCLUDING transformations. For context, that 10 more characters than Smash Ultimate + all its dlc.

To be fair the older game was like that as well. You just clicked Goku and all his forms would pop up. They need to make it so if we pick ssj 2 it lets us change back to base form

If the fusions have their own slot in the menu it isn't like Budokai Tenkaichi 3. Its like Tenkaichi 1. You could only pick gogeta and vegito if you selected goku or Vegeta and then selected from their transformations. This game better do the same thing.

The roaster won't be like that actually i mean yes how it looks yes but where the characters are no. That is probably going to show how what characters we have seen so far. So if we get another trailer for more characters and how they fight they will add in those boxes. Trust me i seen lot of fighting games do this for their trailer to remind people what they seen so far. Because if they really did this than people will start to question things about the roaster.
