Cap, All of you have come up very long way since I first found you guys a few years ago. All of the old videos are just as fun to watch as the new ones and I could not be happier sitting here watching you for 2 hours and listening to the banter listening to the conversation, it's just extremely enjoyable. I hope and pray for all of you to have the most phenomenal and healthy lives with your families and keep doing the wonderful work you're doing.
This was awesome, it was chill, full of talented people, great conversation, that was the fastest 2hr video I think I have ever watched, it felt like 30min it was just that good.
As a Brit, not even going into the many lifestyle benefits and opportunities available in OZ, I'd recommend you move to Australia as the health care system is much better than the NHS and there is also a reciprical agreement which will help a lot with costs. You'd definately have much better access to doctors to speed up a diagnosis and treatment for the condition. All the best!
Just hearing your YT talk, so am adding another comment for Engagement metric - I always watch every episode so 100% watch time. Will try to add another patreon Sub, but also living in a capitalist world. Best of wishes for your health Cap
You know, my biggest concern is that eventually there will be no GRs because of changes that come about during the course of life. One guy gets ill and drops out. Another gets a job that prevents him from participating, so he drops out. One after another and then there’s just a few. I get it, life happens. I remember a local band I was friends with. So talented, so good and we had a riot touring around the state. I traveled with them and helped load in/out and set up. A true roady. One by one they dropped out and then there was nothing. Gone never to return. Very sad and disheartening, but what can you do? Enjoy it while you can and appreciate what you’re seeing
Well that may have been a long video but i was sitting here painting and listening, it was interesting. Cap, if i lived anywhere near you I'd, with your permission, come around and help you with the car. The only thing i don't do is pinstriping, but anything from body repair to spraying the car afterwards. But i am going to experiment with Lacing, its what they do on Lowriders. 🤤 Thanks all the Grim Reapers for helping me with my mental health, youre all awesome. 😀👍
Coningsby is QRA South. Lossiemouth ( 05/23 approach and climb out just above my house) is QRA north and yes it is is very exciting living in typhoon alley and watching all the mil power and unrestricted take offs and touch and goes, especially at night. They'd probably be the ones to see Russian OPFOR first
Cap, the F15EX is being considered because the expanse of the pacific limits how much ordnance can be brought to a theater. The pure ordnance capacity of the EX, working with a forward deployed stealth platform to perform missile guidance, makes it very very suitable for that area of deployment. That and there’s already talk of replacing the WSO in the tandem seat version with a drone systems operator to better manage the AI wingmen.
I can only manage one Patreon donation a month, so sorry Ian McCollum, I've had to switch. It was a tight call, but I believe Ian's proclivity for things French is what swung it.
Glad you are doing well Cap! Would love to see a rematch of the 2500 mile strike with the f15e against the mirage 2000 in fuel consumption. Obviously all planes included as a race but I want to see how it would compete! Please don’t get stuck in the dirt again!😂😂😂😂
Great Video and talks. Matrix and simbas communication/commands while flying threw the clouds in this formation is next level and i would love to see more.
Well, I watched the entire mission from brief to takeoff to landing. I kinda like these longer missions & wont complain if you do more occasionally. Oh yeah. Someone asked the question earlier, why does the USAF want to replace aging F-15C & D with F-15EX rather than just buying more F-35's? F-35 & F-22 are essentially tasked with penetrating enemy airspace and suppressing defenses, both ground based as well as air. The 5gens are immensely capable but also extremely expensive to operate, and have a _lot_ more maintenance costs (like RAM coating; really sensitive stuff). Even minor scratching or peeling of the RAM coating can cause serious degradation of stealth. So. The Air Force, faced with the numerical majority of its air defence fleet-yup, F-15 C&D, with the Strike Eagle not far behind-flying well past the design lifetime of the jet. They needed a big, fast, agile missile/bomb truck that could work in concert with the F-35 & Raptor. This aircraft doesn't need to be stealthy, in fact for homeland defense in the Guard, they WANT to be seen. Eagle II (as they are calling EX) can carry up to _22_ missiles, bombs, rockets, and various PODs! It has basically 5gen avionics, FCS, sensors, EW capability, and radar, along with a massive F-35 style touch screen cockpit & helmet mounted HUD. It is also amazingly agile; first time I saw an EX flight demo, I thought the damn thing had TVC! But it doesn't, it just flies like it does. With a 12 missile loadout. I shat you notteth! EX is beast, so the AF needs to have a viable replacement for its aging Eagles, & I guess a new manufacture 4++gen F-15 fills the bill.
@simba 🫡 I dunno where you're stationed; I did ALS at Shaw AFB in 2006. Was stationed at ft Gordon at the time. Heard a nice story about a maintainer that cut through a cable bundle and took an f16 out of service for months
Hey Cap I know this is old news but have you heard of the mutant missile? It would be cool to make one in the game but yet at the same time it couldnt be mottled to work the way it's supposed to in game
With a wind deflector behind you, and if you scoot down in the seat a bit, you can absolutely keep dry in a convertible if it's raining. Unless it really starts pissing it down.
I would like to see 12 Croatian Rafale F3 (no Meteor or Storm Shadow) vs 14 Serbian MiG29SM. Maybe to research current weaponry and exact specifications of planes. Thanks, keep doing good job
Cap, Matrix, Simba, Poosh, Dark, Fire, and all the lovely humans; you’re in my prayers. You do so much to make the world a bit more lovely. Going over to find the car channel now.
Cap, there appears to be an ETA to steer point on the lower right corner of your radar display. At least when you were in the WSO seat. This could help with your calculations. It also appears to be on the HUD…. LOL. Typed this in just 2 minutes before you found it
I had a thought, would it help in the YT algorithm if you tag your with the hashtag 'gaming'? I see it some of the recommended dcs videos of some channels 😉 stay safe and awesome ya'll valued Humanoids 🐾
Move to the US so things are quicker? :D You won't get seen at all unless you have $$$ in the US + you know you can pay for private health care in the UK right? You don't half come across as naïve at times Cap.
Not been my experience at all. You will get Healthcare quicker in the US whether you have insurance or not. I have gotten care for something serious and didn't have insurance. Didn't have to put money up front and people that say that you won't get health care if you don't have insurance or flat out lying. There are multiple ways to get assistance and everything else
Will DCS let you send the tanker ahead? Then you can blast your way there and top up? The F15EX is to complement F35's as it can carry many times the load, all available weapons and has a much higher top speed and fuel capacity. So they will "electronic partners" working together.
Seriously there were no casualties, and yeah a lot of missiles hit the ground but apparently they didn't hit anything important. Which tells me that a lot of those incoming Warheads were not targeted by Iron Dome because they weren't a threat to anything. So yeah no reason to go over what we already know
@@Wyomingchief I know, just considering the first time around the team were so fast to publish a scenario, I think it'd be cool to see that again with the new estimated numbers and conditions. PS: I didn't insinuate anything about damages ;)
Cap, about the Johnson & Johnson.. One made baby products, the other made questionable birth control products.. They met at a bar one night, the rest was history.
Having just watched hundreds of balistic missiles penetrate the iron dome, are DCS missile defence systems going to be nerfed so they get overwhelmed more easily?
Yeah first of all hundreds is a bit of an exaggeration. Best estimate is always about 200 missiles fired. And why would they need to Nerf anything? There were no casualties, and the vast majority of those missiles that hit the ground were not even targeted modern defense systems like Iron Dome and Patriot and others can calculate the impact point and thus don't waste Interceptor missiles on incoming missiles that are not going to hit anything. I know it doesn't fit your narrative that the Iron Dome and the rest of the Israeli stuff it's better than you think
Ask subscribers to go to subscribe and hit the "all" choice for notifications and will override the algo Keep it up if possible. I'm a regular. "exponentially" increase of energy to go faster the closer you get to max theoretical speed. The plane will have a certain altitude and velocity where it is most fuel efficient.
Nice job guys! Solid work all around. Now try it in the F-4, from Novorossiysk to Tbilisi and back, or something. Or all the way across Kola. Anybody can do one more leg! Feel better Cap!
Wow Capt! I thought it was just voice. If in a lot of pain, Mayo Clinic sometimes prescribes Douloxitine. It is an Anti-anxiety anti-depressant drug that also helps with chronic pain. When you have multiple pain symptoms, it also takes you down psychologically. The medication helps to relax your mind which reduces the pain loop. The reduction in pain leads to more relaxation which leads to less pain.
